I had the most professional and attentive service recently after my park, unoccupied car was hit and totaled by a drunk driver. The entire staff, including Bennie, Bobbie, and Joe treated me like family. I didn't find out about the car accident until my car was missing from my street. I called the New Haven Police department , and I was referred to Catapano Autobody. I found out about details concerning the accident from Bobby and Bennie, and I was able to obtain a police report from them. I had yet to receive my copy from the police department.Also, Bobby and Bennie called me weekly regarding insurance, my obtaining my personal property from my vehicle,vand other procedures to get compensated from the driver's insurance company.I felt comfortablel dealing with Catapano Autobody because I was dealing with humans who actually cared. I highly recommend Catapano Autobody.

My parents had been involved in a major accident while in New Haven resulting in a few weeks in the hospital. It was up to me to deal with everything. Things were complicated since I live on the opposite side of the state. I spoke several times with "Benny" who was always nice and very accommodating. I made arrangements to go down and empty out the contents of the car since it was totaled. Once I paid the towing fee, I was let into the yard and could take pictures and clean out the car. Since the accident was the fault of the other driver, the shop was stuck waiting for their insurance company to claim the car. Bennie did call me do find out what was going on since the time was approaching the point where he could file the car as abandoned. Understanding that they are a business and need their money, I made a call to the lawyer and things got squared away. Through this whole ordeal, my father was concerned about saving his vanity plates that had been passed on to him from his father. I had planned on picking them up ( 120 mile round trip ) but Benny offered to mail them to me. I even offered to pay but he refused. Every time I dealt with Benny or Bobby, they had always been courteous and helpful. If they were local to me, I would not hesitate to use their services again.

Brought my 2018 Chevy here for an estimate after someone backed into my front end in a parking lot. It was a mess. Price was good so I had them do the work and they dealt with my insurance company directly. I later learned that the top of the radiator had a crack in the seam and they dealt with the adjuster directly for the extra payment. It looked like new when I got it back and you couldn t tell it was damaged. It took an extra day to fix and they got me authorization for an extra day of rental car so while it was a huge hassle when that lady hit me, the process to get it fixed and back on the road was hassle free. My car was stolen and destroyed and luckily was brought to Catapano s. After going through a total nightmare with my insurance, they did everything they could to help me out and were very professional. The work on my car was done perfectly, it looks exactly like it did before it was stolen. More importantly they treated me so well and helped me out with finances since they knew my insurance was trying to (literally) scam me. The RUDEST mfers on the planet hands down . They talk to you like they talk to their children . If you tell them you have an issue with something they get defensive and aggressive IMMEDIATELY . I ve witnessed it on multiple occasions and I will no longer make excuses for their horrible customers service . If you re a female, do not deal with these men alone.

My bumper was completely destroyed. I don t know what magic they put on it but it hasn t fell off ever since. Definitely would go back for anything else that s wrong with my car

My infiniti suv stopped in a busy street and we had to call them for towing service. After the towing, we found a damage in wheel - we were not sure where it came from. But Catapano took the full responsibility without any argument and replaced with a brand new wheel in two days. That was very professional and fast service! Thank you!

My car was totalled in an accident and I was shocked and upset. Benny and his team were exceptionally kind to me and were also well-organized and efficient. They made a very tough day a little easier.

My car was towed during street cleaning in New Haven, which sucked, but the guy at the tow company was friendly, prompt, and surprisingly sympathetic. Not at all what I expected from a tow company.

If I could give this place a negative score it still wouldn t be enough. Rude, condescending, dispicable people in the office. Don t bother calling unless you want to be called derogatory slurs by an inbred ape. Any good review on here was paid or is their own employee.

They towed my car left me on the side of the road I even offers to pay cash to have it towed to my house. It was a bad night. Don't ever use this place

Horrible people, horrible place. Go anywhere else if you have a choice, though you may not if you get ensnared in one of their shady towing scams.
