Fast, professional, reliable, affordable, local excellent service. Strongly recommend for and service or mechanical work. My Subaru and Toyota are both serviced here. In my experience dealer prices are 3x more expensive than here.

I brought my car to Accurate Auto Repair when the exhaust split at a joint. I'd never been there before but found it on Google. I was in a real jam: Murphy's Law -- I had a job interview two hours away and to get there in time I needed to leave within an hour. I was incredibly lucky to bring it here. The owner, Bill, immediately sussed out the situation and came up with a plan. He cleared out his schedule and put two employees on it. Best yet, he worked -- at his suggestion -- to find the most affordable remedy. I'm pretty sure he saved me several hundred dollars. How often does that happen? I will always bring my car to Bill when I'm New Haven. He's an incredibly decent and knowledgable guy with tons of integrity. I feel like I made a new friend. And his staff was great, too. I'd give his auto shop six stars if it were possible to give more than five. Thank you Accurate Auto Repair!

I am on a journey across the country and blew my breakline. After reading a few good reviews, I tried Bill at Accurate Auto Repair. Immediately, I felt in good hands. He and his team got me in right away. Both Bill and Armando were awesome! It took less than an hour to replace my breakline. I am so grateful I chose this place. He gave me a great deal and sent me off with well wishes. I highly recommend this amazing team. :)

Bill s Shop is the only place I ll bring my vehicles. Bill Kern is the most trustworthy engine specialist I ve ever experienced. No false diagnoses, only what I need to ensure I travel safely. His Staff is so pleasant and courteous, that an oil change is no longer a chore.

Helpful and honest garage. Have used at least five times now over the last 5 years with my 2005 car. Don't hesitate. Was recommended to me by someone who used this place many times, and I'm grateful for it.

I don't know how these ppl have so much good reviews. I went to get my car diagnosed.theirs was a few problem that I was told.but when he told my engine had an leak.but don't know where it exactly coming from also I was told my engine fine I just need to get the leak fixed.it really didn't make no type of sense to me.because a real good mechanic would know exactly what's wrong with my car.

This place is BY FAR the WORST mechanic I've ever step foot in and I work at a driving school so I go to a lot of mechanics... often. I don't even know where to start with these guys and to be honest I only ever went here because its right next to the Hamden DMV (state inspection center for vehicles). I had just taken one of my schools cars and it failed due to needing to replaced the front right tie rod so I quickly drove down the street in the hopes that this place would be able to fix it so I wouldn't need to make the hour drive to inspect the same car again. From the first second I walked in William (Bill) was being extremely rude and short as if he doesn't want customers? He didn't want to help me at all so I pleaded my case and he bluntly stated he could fix it but he needed to go to lunch. I told him I'd wait since there were no other options, I even offered to go buy the part needed while he was eating. After more than 2 hours waiting he gave me the bill and this man had the audacity to charge $180 for what I'm sure was 20 minutes of work not to mention grossly overcharge me for the part. All of this would have been fine IF THE CAR PASSED BUT IT DIDN'T!! The tie rod was not replaced correctly, the problem was still there and when I went back after failing for THE SECOND TIME, Bill continued to say that he did nothing wrong! I then try to schedule a day for him to fix what I ALREADY paid him to fix and he is even more rude over the phone. He starts screaming at me about how I have to come in at specifically 8am (even though I live 1.5 hours away) if I want him to fix WHAT HE DID WRONG. THEY WASTED MY TIME, THEY WASTED MY MONEY AND THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING! PLEASE DON'T BE SCAMMED!P.S. I went to a mechanic in Danbury, CT and they were able to replace the tie rod for me for only $43.54 AND the car PASSED!
