The gentleman who provided my service was excellent. He gave detailed insight and recommendations to my vehicle's oil consumption. He was very polite and helpful. This store is very professionally operated. I will be returning when due for the next oil change.

I arrived Sunday morning and expected a long wait time. The guys here are speedy, knowledgeable and very pleasant. I would give a five star however, the oil filter I needed was out of stock. Other than that I had an amazing experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Valvoline in New Britain CT.

I came to this location for the first time and Luis in specific was great!! He was super kind and patient with me. The fact that he seems to also genuinely enjoy what he's doing made me feel even more comfortable coming here. I will be back for future services fasho!

Worst experience ever, I pulled up was told 10-15 minutes for service then I m stuck trapped in a service line that s not moving other cars that got there after me are being serviced. Totally unacceptable. I didn t even have time to stay anymore! Total waste of time!! If the actual service is anything like the customer service, I just saved my car & myself from the headache. Very disappointed with the way it was organized & handled. By the way, it s set up so customers can t leave when they need to & that s horrible. I d leave no stars if I could

Great supervisor they were fast and efficient, I didn't feel like we were being ripped off. I would definitely go back and I would recommend.

Unbelievable!Been coming to this location exclusively for nearly SIX YEARS and we have always been treated well here... untill now!They left the cap to the air filter off and under the hood causing it to become wedged between the fan and the radiator damaging our engine! Was informed by them that they reviewed the video and determined that we came in that way.THIS is the only place that does our oil change! I pray that the owner can explain to me how if what they have declared is true.. would we've been able to drive to NC and back then to the Bronx and back and amass 3200 miles with the cap off and NOTHING happens until after our next visit?! YOU HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER PERMANENTLY..and it's my intention to let all of my fans and friends across the country know how much loyalty is "rewarded" here!The Happy Preacher (not)Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Updating my review because it was apparently nothing they did: Took it back in today and William was super helpful. Checked everything and told us what he thinks it might be.Went in today for an oil change, with a car that WASNT making random nosies. Got done with the oil change only to start driving to find out my car was making a rattling/clanking nosie while idling AND accelerating. Am taking it back in tomorrow to have them hopefully figure out what they did wrong, but im not sure I'm hopeful on the outcome based on all the reviews I've read.Service: Oil change

First time going there and what a great first impression. Just purchased a used vehicle a few weeks ago and wanted to just get a baseline of everything and an oil change! They did that and more! I have been using this location for years. Always well managed, everyone is very helpful and professional. Today, my check engine light came on on the way home after getting my oil changed in the morning. I stopped, and they quickly checked it over, and ensured that me and my kids would make it home ok. Really great service.

Fast and efficient workers here. Explained everything they were doing and let me know about all the recommended services my car needs but didn't pressure me to get them now. They have some coupons online which was nice!

I would never go to this location again!! I live in New Britian and after this experience, I will drive to hartford or west hartford location just to have a peace of mind knowing I will get good service there. The guys guided me into the bay, scanned my car, asked what kind of oil I wanted. Then disappeared for 15 minutes. Went to the parking lot for 10 minutes. Then went in the office for 5 minutes. My washer fluid was never checked. My tire pressure was never checked. When I asked him to check my tires he huffed and puffed. Filled only one tire and didn t bother to check the rest. I will NEVER come back.Service: Oil change

This Valvoline has by far the best group of people working there. They were all super helpful, and knowledgable. Two individuals stood out to me in particular, the manager, who was top notch, in just about every way. And the employee/tech named Jay. Jay went above and beyond to help me with everything that I needed. Way above and beyond. Thank god for this crew, the atmosphere was great, there was a great team.chemistry, and all employees were very helpful. Special thanks to the two mentioned above. You guys are amazing

By far the best Valvoline I have ever been to from the quick service & professionalism to hearing a lady is servicing my vehicle from bottom side. I didn t get her name but she is beyond quick & checked the underbelly of my car for leaks for peace of mind.Great job to you whoever you are.

Very quick and knowledgeable attendants. It was quite a few cars waiting when we arrived yet our wait was not long at all. I appreciate that they checked the tire pressure as well as the fluid levels. Very courteous staff. They have gained a new customer.

I thought it was a good place to get my Oil Change. I was wrong. This was my Third time there and i truly regret it. I had my Oil changed and my Front and Rear Differential fluids changed. I might have paid for something i didn t receive . The following day i felt something wrong with my Car. I pop the hood only to find out my Antifreeze reservoir was bone dry and my hose leading to the reservoir was loose and Hanging off. Also my filter compartments was still opened. My cap for my wiper Fluid missing. Lesson learn!!! From this point on I will only go to the Dealership. Infiniti set my Appointment up for 3/23/22. I will find out the damage that has been caused by Valvoline and their Employee!!!

This place used to always push the uptake, but this last time was the best experience. No pushing; friendly recommendations only. They'll pull out your air filter, show it to you, and say "you could change it, or wait until your next stop." 100% happy with this change! The staff work really well together and make it a fun, bantering environment. Kind of like oil change and a show.

Had a Groupon for a $25 oil change. Staff was very friendly yet professional, answered questions about my car (where the cabin filter is, etc). Oil change was quick & painless; didn't even have to get out of my car. They would get 5 stars but I had to keep saying No to numerous offers of additional services that my own mechanic offers for less.

The staff here is absolutely amazing. I was supposed to come in half an hour before they closed and I made it 2 minutes before closing - they still did the service and they were genuinely nice about it. I didn t know until the last time I had my oil changed that you can get a light bulb replacement alone done and Mazda had the most obnoxious way to change a bulb, so since I can t do it myself, I came here. Highly recommend!!! I m definitely coming back.It s also great to get a Groupon for the oil change, which brings down the price significantly, so a full synthetic doesn t damage your wallet - just make sure to buy the Groupon 24 hours before going in so that it gets activated.

I used to get my oil changed at these locations for a few years until I decided to go to a new mechanic. He instructed me that Valvovine never changed my oil filter, which needs to be changed with every oil change. The filter literally looked like it was covered in mud. For anyone interested, this can clog valve sensors and eventually cause internal engine damages. To avoid damaging your vehicles, I recommend going to people who actually know what they're doing and not rip off their customers.Service: Oil change

Service man tried to sell several services those at which I declined at the time. he seemed to have a bit of an attitude though he was still polite in his words you could see it in his face that he was not happy we went there for a full synthetic oil change when he went to get the oil instead of pumping it from the pumps he used a plastic dispenser that he got from somewhere else so I'm not sure if I got the correct oil. Iasked him why but he mumbled that it doesn't come out of the hose pumps. This is very unusual behavior. I usually go to the west hartford valvoline but they were closing soon so I went to this one.Service: Oil change

Stay Away !!! do not go to the New Britain East Main Street location . It's a complete rip-off they told my young daughter that she had to put a specific type of oil in her car which cost her nearly $60 for a simple oil change and filter. They talk in such a way to put fear and confuse the customers. they told her that the manufacturer recommends she should put an upgrade type oil in. Well you know what? Regular motor oil works perfectly. You going to tell me to get oil changed costs $60.00? You people are a big rip off. all they did was grab a bucket with a spout on it and pour it in some oil from god-knows-where and what type it was no labeling no nothing. Even after they've supplied and poured in some random jug of oil, your assistant manager told my daughter that yeah, you could have used regular oil. All after the fact. Again I'll repeat it one more time there was no indication what type of oil they put in there they didn't open up any quarts they didn't take any oil out of the the hoses or guns that fall down from the ceiling . Its Just like he went in the back room somewhere. She doesnt even know if they actually changed the filter . now I understand why they don't want anybody to get out of cars anymore and don't tell me it's for safety reasons. they don't want us to see what really goes on in your crooked establishments. Its last time she'll ever go there again. How dare your assistant manager take advantage of a young woman. Totally unsatisfied and upset and I think she should get a total refund Plus. Her being upset to be ripped off all that money. Total rip-off. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. I'm going to be sending an email and a written letter to your Corporation Headquarters. This is total example of taking advantage of a poor innocent woman.
