It seems like there have been some bad reviews lately here and I guess each scenario is different but I had a great experience. My 3 stage paint is extremely tough to match and they hit it spot on and blended a good ways. Fit and finish were OEM quality. If anyone is concerned about joyrides or anything (if you have a nicer car) my dash cam and tracker both showed no funny business

I would avoid this place. Like others, I had issues with my bulbs being burnt out within a week of getting my car back. I was made to believe this was my fault. Had to bring my car back for this and other issues that I noticed within a couple of days of having it again (some trim pieces were even missing). The second repair took over a week and top it all off, my side mirror had a new black marking on it that when I cleaned also revealed that some of my paint was taken off. They had also forgotten to address one of the issues until I reminded them at pick up. They took it back in to fix it and I didn t even get an apology for any of these mistakes and the waste of my time.I didn t even want to bother going back to have them fix my side mirror. I used some touch up paint at that point. Don t go here

Took 6 weeks for a minor rear bumper repair. Close to no communication. New scratch upon pickup which they clearly could care less about. Absolutely trash experience with this place.

NEVER in a million years would i recommend this place. This place is a disgrace they are so unorganized, I got my car repaired after a car accident and they messed everything up. To my signal lights and headlights. I was there about 2 weeks ago after Thanksgiving and I just realized they used a used light to replace in my passenger side in the front. The light is burnt out and here I am driving around with no light wondering why I couldn t see anything while driving. I drove all the way from here to Boston and back not only that but in the rain. That makes everything worse, I had original LED lights in my car before this accident happened so therefore they should ve put LED lights in. Also the guy Harry who answers the phone is beyond disrespectful to everyone, I called to tell him that my light was burnt out and he gave me attitude about it. He went to ask someone if I could come in to fix it and I said as very polite to him, I said Thank you and then hangs up no bye or thank you or anything. I will not be back here to repair anything again, do not suggest this place.

Try to avoid this place . Very unprofessional, poor customer service and they will take forever to fix your car . To me it looks like they have a set up business with Enterprise Rent-A-Car the longer they keep your car the more money you or your insurance will have to pay for the rental price ..A job that can be done in few days, will take them few months!!! When they finally gave me my car, there were 2 lights on so obviously the job wasn t completed but they don t care .. that s how they work!

My car was done through geico 2 months ago my horn doesn't work when I lock my car they left my rear window with no rubber seal and now I'm leaking oil with a check engine light and when I call these people they are already trying to say it's not their fault on the phone . I'm gunna go down there and get this settled and if they make it right I will change my review but I hope no one goes through what I'm going through.

This is the worst place ever very irresponsible staff named Harry very rude over the phone,The female there very nice and very pleasant I talk with the person on charge and he dint care My car had a small dent it took almost 2 weeks. They call me and told me that they were going to do a final inspection then call me to pick up the car. I check my car and it was another dent . They keep the car for 2 more days .They return my car dirty and with marks of the tools that they used. Now the horn of my car is not working plus I heard a noise like the window was open. I don't recommend this place to no one.Service: Painting

I could write a 3 or 4 paragraph review describing all the issues I had with Schaller Auto and my repairs but I will save you some time and just tell you this company is an unorganized mess with nothing but unhappy customers coming in and out the door. My repairs have been going on for almost 2 months and they are still not complete. If Geico recommends you use them for repairs, don't or you will regret it. There are a lot of reputable Auto body shops in CT and Schaller is not one of them.

I came here to have my car bumper repaired after someone hit it in a parking lot. I went through geico and they recommended this place so I just went with it. Honestly the process was smooth, I made an appointment online, I brought my car and they inspected it, and had a rental there for me within 15 minutes. They sent text updates which were good at first but they ended up saying my car would be ready a certain day and it wasn t ready until 4 days later. I wasn t too bothered, I would rather them take their time on the work, but it added a bit of confusion. When I picked up my car, the work looked really good on the bumper and they had installed a new tail light for me. They also cleaned the car inside and out and it looked really great. The tail light they had given me had a bad brake light connection so I had to go back to get a new one, but they didn t give me a single issue about it and replaced it for free. My only complaint is that one of the receptionists Carol is not always friendly, she gave me noticeable attitude and said that no guys were there to help me when I came back (for the third time since picking up my car) to just have the new tail light put in quickly. Sure enough, the other VERY KIND receptionist told her I was there bc the other one was bad, and then Carol found me a person to install it quickly. Damien and the staff here were extremely helpful and happy to help. My car was even ready earlier than planned. Damien even went out of his way, on his own, to help replace my rear light when it cracked, without a problem. I absolutely recommend this body shop and will definitely come back in the future.

I brought my Honda Accord 2014 here for a new bumper on 4/16/2021. I was met by Damian, who was extremely nice, polite and knowledgeable. He told me what they were going to do and how the process worked. One week later I came back to pick up my car and I have to say I am very happy that they he and the whole crew did an excellent job. They even provided me with a side fender at no charge. If you need anything done to your car look no further because these guys went above and beyond for me. After my SUV was backed into, Geico arranged for repair at Schaller Body Shop and a rental vehicle from Enterprise. I must admit, I was nervous as this was my first time having to go through this. My SUV looks phenomenal. Everything went very smoothly and I was kept in the loop and updated throughout the entire process. I would recommend both Schaller Auto Body and Enterprise to others if in need of a great shop or rental. I also want to add how personable the ladies at the front desk were. I cannot give them a high enough rating for Customer Service. My car was in an accident over a year ago (lots of front end damage). When I got it back, it looked brand new. Honestly, I should have given them a review then.Fast forward 15 months later and I call them about an issue that I noticed should have been fixed after the accident - my windshield washer fluid reservoir was leaking. Schaller immediately ordered the part and had me bring in my car the next day to fix the issue free of charge!!!!After replacing the parts, they realized it was a different issue, something that wouldn t have been impacted by the accident and still fixed my car! I never expected that type of customer service. Thank you Schaller. You have made a customer for life.

Geico made an appointment here for me to fix damage to my two driver-side doors after I got sideswiped on the highway. Geico arranged for a rental car for me, so someone from Enterprise right up the street came to Schaller with the car for me. The ladies at the front desk were pleasant to talk to and explained everything to me clearly.The front door of my damaged car had to be completely replaced, so it took 17 days. I can only assume it's because my model of car isn't made any more, even though it's only six years old. I did get a message maybe about nine days after I dropped the car off telling me that the car would be ready the next day, but the message was a mistake.When I got the car back, the new door looked just like it was the original part of the car. The scrapes on the rear door and the fender were fixed and painted perfectly. It looked like the car was never in an accident. They even cleaned the inside of the car. They cleaned my floor mats and wiped the dust off of everything. The only thing that I would have like better was a weekly update if a repair is going to take as long as mine did.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Excellent customer service and excellent body work.We were given a completion date and we picked up the car on that day .They contacted our insurance company with any questions WE had, and kept us informed throughout the whole process.When we picked up the car, it looked newer than the day we got the car. There were no signs that anybody had worked on the car, or had even been in it.I will, and, recommend Schaller Auto Body.

My car was ready before the original date they said would be ready. They called and kepted me informed on the progress of my car. People behind desk were very pleased and helpful. Schaller was recommended to me by a friend they are also recommended by All state and gieco insurance. The process was super easy. They were pleasant, professional and kept me apprised of the status/completion date. My car looked beautiful - -like new when I picked it up. The staff are outstanding!!

I was involved in an accident midway to my destination and my car was not drivable. Through GEICO AutoRepair XPress, I found Schaller Auto Body. Not being familiar with the area, I relied on reviews and wanted to be sure to post my own and gush about the quality of the repair work, their customer service, and their help through the entire process. First, they went out of their way to try to help me navigate the process with GEICO, and were proactive about getting my car off the tow lot - even more so than GEICO! They were very open and transparent about the repairs process, calling me to review my estimate and communicating clearly and promptly throughout the process. My car was completed on the scheduled release date, and the quality of the work was superb. Most of the front of my KIA Soul was replaced (including hood, grille, and bumper) and both looking at and driving my car, you would never guess it had been in an accident. The color matching was superb, and their inspection process was extremely thorough, ensuring that every detail of my car was repaired. The entire exterior was detailed and my car shined like it was brand new. I highly recommend Schaller Auto Body! I recently had to have my car repaired due to an accident and wasn't looking forward to the stress of going through the car repair process. I was very surprised by how easy and stress free the entire process was. I went through my Geico insurance and found that Schaller Auto Body was one of their ARX shops. I took my car to Schaller Auto Body where they assisted me right away, they kept my car to assess the damage and start the repairs and I was able to get a rental car all within 30 minutes. They called me the next day to let me know of the estimate and when they would have the work completed by. I had my car back within a few days and all the damage was completely repaired. The car looked brand new and you could never tell there was damage to begin with. I am very happy with the work and how I was treated as a customer. I would recommend everyone use this body shop!

From start to finish this was a very pleasant experience. The estimate was done quickly and everything was explained to me as to what needed to be done and how much it would cost.When I dropped off my car, the rental company was there within minutes and I didn't need to do a thing. The car was done when they expected it would be finished, and the work was done well.I couldn't be happier with the experience and would recommend Schaller Auto Body to anyone.

Schaller Auto Body is an AWESOME place to get your body work done! Not only did they make the process incredibly easy, had a rental truck waiting for me, and the body work came out BEAUTIFULLY! They even cleaned my truck inside and out! This place is the best! Definitely 5 stars and I would absolutely come here again!

Wanted to thank the folks at Schaller Auto Body. The team there was efficient, friendly and did a great job turning my daughters car around. Their service and integration with Enterprise car rental made it easy to have the car repaired while providing alternative transportation. They completed the job ahead of schedule. My car was involved in a major accident and the collision repair was carried out by Schaller auto body. The fact that my insurance company has a person sitting in this facility helped me a lot. The car was repaired by the due date given to me and the whole process was smooth. Customer service was good.

I was in a car accident and my insurance company made a next day appointment for me which was great for my schedule. My airbag went off and needed a rental car which my insurance company knew about. They told me I could get my car fixed and a rental car here. I felt reassured and comfortable that this company was close to where I live and could get a rental so quickly. It's horribke to be in a car accident and when you are in the middle of getting repairs it's just a nightmare to get it over with. I arrived and it took someone about 8 minutes to notice I was waiting to be helped. I got to the office 30 minutes early of my appointment and the woman up front with short brown hair was really rushed. There were only two other customers but the employees here seemed like they were swamped. I met the associate that would be assisting me quickly and we walked out to my vehicle. As soon as he looked at my car he got visibly angry and exclaimed how the vehicle wasn't drivable and how ridiculous it was that I drove it and didn't have it towed. How no one told him that it wasn't drivable. He told me three to four times "this vehicle isn't drivable." As if I couldn't hear him. Then he walked me in his office and said multiple times to the front desk staff that I need a rental because my car isn't drivable. As if it was incontinence for him or more work or something. I had to ask him to calm down and I told him I am aware I need a rental which is why I'm here in his shop. I felt l was treated so rudely. It's mortifying to be in a car accident and I have insurance. I should be treated with respect and kindness. I was in a car accident I am a paying customer. The rental car woman was really friendly and helpful. I'll see how the repairs or claim goes but I really wouldn't feel comfortable coming back to this shop after this experience.

I was in a minor fender bender and brought my car to Schaller.Not only did I get very prompt service (my car looks good as new). The day I picked up my car it was completely cleaned inside and out. They gave it a full wash cleaned out all the weather mats etc.I would recommend Schaller to anyone lookin for any auto work needs.Thank You

While traveling through New Britain my automobile required repair quickly. Corey Jones expertly diagnosed the problem and directed repair and I was soon safely on my way. Never have I received such prompt, courteous, and expert service. I highly recommend Schaller Auto Body and Corey Jones, the Production Manager!

Really poor work and sloppy. Not precision job they didOverspray on back light,window molding and some scratches on the chrome molding , from sendingbumper was just repaint not fixed , still have spider crackAnd they claim that need assemble whole site,they just mask it with the masking tapequarter panel was not perfect send and fixed. They didn t fixed chip from stone they just repaint itThey rounded (shave it )edges above the wheel edge ,instead of keeping squareLaquer has some stains spotsI point this issues to the manager he just keep the silence and shrug shouldersServices: Painting, Body & Trim

I know their are some negative reviews that are not the real deal but I received unbelievable treatment of a previous customer at the Auto Body shop. They fired the guy that I had been in contact with THAT DAY and refused to make good on a repair they botched originally. I had e-mail for proof but it didn't matter. They said if I drive another 70 miles on another day, they could sand the corner of the bumper and put some paint on it. Nothing wrong with it anyway and Bruce should not have agreed to fix it. Unacceptable! I was livid and so upset. They wouldn't even tell me why I couldn't talk to him until I figured out he must have just been fired....he left a few hours earlier. I am now dealing with my insurance company!

I claimed my insurance coverage and they refered this place for my cars body work. As far as services are concerned the job was well done and i couldnt figure out if there were any scratches or dents before. Not sure about the value though. I personally think it was a bit pricey. I wouldnt have chose them if it was out of my pocket but again the work was good and it looked perfect.
