Could not recommend Valenti Volkswagen of Mystic enough! I had the pleasure of working with Azadoria when picking out my new SUV today. As this was my first time purchasing a car, I was a bit nervous going into it. However, with her guidance, and expertise, I knew I was in good hands almost immediately. One thing I loved was that there was no pressure; I didn't feel forced to make a decision, which provided ease when making my choice. After test driving, I got to work with Danny who was also wonderful! His upbeat energy and humor and length of experience in the business was just another confirmation that I had made the right choice coming to Valenti. Will be back again for my next purchase!

The team of sales representative, Chris Donahue, sales manager, Dan McDuffy and financing expert, Phil Dugas made my recent purchase a pleasant and stressfree experience. It was my sixth VW purchase and they extended the same level of respect and friendliness to me as they would to a new customer visiting their dealership. I look forward to driving my new Atlas and continuing to work with this group in the future.

WARNING DO NOT TRUST THEM!Back in August 2023, I took my 2013 VW Passat TDI SEL here for routine service. I got a call stating that while the shop was test driving the car to make sure the alignment was good that the turbo seal failed overpressurizing the engine putting a hole in the Block. A deal was reached with this dealership and corporate that any part that was affected or potentially affected was to be replaced with Remanufactured parts that included a 1 year 10k warranty. Upon fixing and receiving my car back I took it back to them several times for issues. Previous time it was coolant leak and car was somewhat stalling on take off. They said they fixed the issue and it was only the coolant. I took it in again stating the fuel economy was very low and it sounded like it was ticking as well as getting routine maintenance such as DSG, fuel filter, and an oil change. They stated I required two fuel injectors as the old ones failed. I said cool it should be under warranty as they should have been replaced when the engine turned into a grenade. They stated the injectors were never replaced and they did not test the old injectors to see if they were damaged and refused to replace them instead saying I would need to pay 1790 for two new injectors. They said the injectors failed because of bad fuel. The problem is I only get my diesel from Shell which is a top tier fuel company. I ended up taking my car down to a reputable shop Karns in Groton. They tested everything and said it probably only required an fuel additive to clean out the new injectors as i just had the fuel filter changed as an older fuel filter would cause fuel economy to reduce etc.They stated the injectors looked like they were replaced when they replaced the engine not even 7k miles ago. DO NOT TRUST THEM, I BROUGHT MY CAR THERE FOR YEARS AND THEY STILL LIED AND TRIED TO HAVE ME REPLACE BRAND NEW INJECTORS!!!!!

Just bought a certified used Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport and worked with Des. He was a pleasure to work with and as a young man he was very polite and didn't apply pressure tactics that so many car salesman do and very patient and thoughtful. The whole team including Danny and Phil were great and we love our new car!!! Thank you Des and Valenti Volkswagen!!

Top Notch Customer Service! I waited nearly 2 years for this car to get to me, but it is home! I have done all my VW purchases and service at Valenti VW so I knew they were great, but this deal took it to a new level.Valenti could very well have sold this car to other customers and made more money but they honored the deal they made with me and put returning customersand relationships above be a few bucks.The level and care I received from my salesman Nick Shabenas was above and beyond. Nick took care of everything he needed to promptly, and was a strong voice in ensuring this car made it to me. Nick worked the details behind the scene, and made delivery as smooth as possible . Literally in and out in a little less than an hour for a new car purchase! Just insane. Thank you again Nick, and also thank you to John Devine, Dan McDuffee and of course Mr. Valenti.If you are in need of a car go see Nick Shabenas, we will do you no wrong!

Just wanted share my experience with the friendly staff at Valenti Toyota in Mystic Connecticut. It is a different atmosphere compared to NYC. The sales people were very helpful. They had the truck I desired in the color combo I wanted. I was requesting information and detailed pictures of the truck before I drove 2.5 hrs to see the truck. Azadoria went above and beyond to get all angles of the truck before I came. She was not pushy at all and wanted to make sure I was happy. She did a great job throughout my purchase from beginning to end. She was a pleasure to deal with. Her Manager Danny Mcduffee was a phenomenal person and tried his best when working with me on pricing. Very understanding individual and extremely friendly. Phil Douglas the finance manager was great as well looking out for all my warranty possibilities. The pricing of my truck was great and the service was amazing. Most importantly, they were friendly and honest! I shopped around a multiple dealers and they were my final stop. Would definitely take the 2.5/3hr drive again in the future to deal with this friendly staff! Thank you all! 5 star rating!

I wanted to share my positive experience with the welcoming team at Valenti Volkswagen in Mystic, Connecticut, a refreshing change from the NYC vibe. Living in Long Island, I took a 3-hour drive to buy a CPO 2023 Volkswagen Atlas and it was worth every minute. Dez was fantastic to work with; he's a young man who was exceptionally courteous, avoided the high-pressure sales tactics common in the industry, and showed great patience and thoughtfulness. What stood out the most was the team's friendliness and honesty. After visiting several dealerships, Valenti Volkswagen was my last stop, and I would happily make the 2.5 to 3-hour journey again in the future to experience their friendly service. A big thank you to the entire team, including Danny and Phil. Phil was able to negotiate and get me a better deal with the bank after the sale was completed. We absolutely love our new car! A heartfelt thanks to Dez and everyone at Valenti Volkswagen for such a stellar experience. A well-deserved 5-star rating!

For a military family, moving to Groton I had to let go of a car I bought on Marketplace costing me more than 4k for repairs that weren t disclosed upon purchase. Don t ever buy off of Marketplace!I shared my bad experience and the lesson I have learnt where not to buy a used car over the phone with Azadoria and made an appointment to go in to see a car she recommended. Thank you to Azadoria and one of her Sales Manager Phil for assisting me with my new Mazda CX5 that meets my needs and making sure it was what I was looking for in a car, with great safety features for me and my family. The process was smooth. Phil went the extra mile and was able to get me the lowest interest rate than what was offered. Yay! I left Valenti VW with my car the same day. I am very much happy and satisfied with the car I have now. Thank you both for being great, excellent teamwork and marvelous sense of humor, exactly what s needed for an outstanding customer service team!

I highly recommend the team at Valenti VW of Mystic and Old Saybrook! Collette the internet manager got me going by getting it delivered to Mystic from Old Saybrook. Took care of setting up the test drive too. Then Azadoria Ray, coordinating the drive and sale. Nice young lady. Finally, Dan the Sales manager let me negotiate a little and made me feel like a winner. The Finance manager was efficient, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. Overall a GREAT experience!

I m new in the area, and I don t have much experience buying cars, so I was happy to get a recommendation from my uncle for Valenti Volkswagen in Mystic since he s gotten cars there, people he knows in the area have bought there, and everybody s happy with the cars and the experience.What he was telling me was that I can trust the folks at Valenti, and my experience very much proved that.Dez at Valenti helped me get a great deal on a car that was just what I was looking for. During the sale process I kept on forgetting things we needed for documentation, and he was amazingly patient and seriously went above and beyond. Give them a call and ask for Dez you ll be happy you did.

Purchasing a pre-owned. VW Tiguan with David and Danny was most pleasant and that is saying a lot seeing that purchasing a vehicle can be quite stressful . They both listened to what I was looking for at a price that worked for me. They worked a deal that I was comfortable in less than 15 minutes . It was a great experience from the morning that I walked in right through working with Phil to discuss warranty and options . Dez helped orient me to the vehicle when I picked it pointing out all features . I will definitely recommend this group and will return when I am ready to get into a new car. Thank you team

The Best!As soon as I arrived at Valenti VW in Mystic CT I met Azadoria Ray and started talking about VW. I told her I wanted to look at the VW BEETLE. She was so enthusiastic, friendly and very knowledgeable. Not pushy at all. She made it exciting and fun getting to know the vehicle. She was such a pleasure to work with. Azadoria along with her Team (Dan and Phil) made this the best . I want to thank those 2guys for all their hard work. They were so nice!! I ve had great experiences with both Valenti Jeep and Valenti Volkswagen, but today I want to publicly thank Dan McDuffee the business manager of Valenti Volkswagen. My daughter s VW bug had a battery issue that was resolved by the Valenti service team. We picked it up right before the service department closed. So by the time we drove out of the lot service was closed. Her car failed right around the corner so we went back to Valenti and the only one there was Dan in the sales department. The car was not drivable and my daughter needed transportation. Though it wasn t a sales department responsibility, Dan went above and beyond to find us a loaner to drive while we left the bug to be looked at again the next day. We appreciate tremendously his commitment to helping us and his humor while doing so! He saved the day for us and we are so thankful. The bug was fixed two days later by the great service team (second problem was unrelated to first) and I returned the loaner to Dan. I wanted to let him know publicly how much his care for us and our problem meant to us and that it made the inconvenience of car repair much less significant.Thank you Dan!!!Lisa and Mackenzie

I would highly recommend checking out Valenti Volkswagen in Mystic, CT for you next vehicle purchase. My experience was overall very good, it was a pretty busy day and there were several customers at the same time as us but Issac and Danny absolutely tried their best to make our purchase fast and painless. I was allowed to test drive twice and then a third time to go get lunch while we waited for our turn in the finance office (we went to Mangos, it was great!)... which getting the extra drive time tipped me over into making the decision to buy the 2017 Mazda CX-3 GT. Once we got into the finance office, the price for the monthly payments were a bit higher than expected but Danny came through and made several adjustments so that the payment was as low as he could get it, leaving me satisfied with the deal. The entire staff was great as well, all very friendly and social. Another thing that made this such a positive experience is that nothing felt forced, Issac is a real people person not your typical car salesman and Danny the business manager was a real family man and tried to make us feel very comfortable during the financing process. Again, I would highly recommend this dealership and will do so to family and friends. Thanks again guys!!

I purchased a Touareg from Valenti VW in August of 2020 after searching all of New England for one that was the right price. After calling John about one that had just sold I was promised that he could find me one at auction within my price range. The process took a while but that was to be expected when finding a car within a specific price range during a pandemic. John found the exact year and model I was looking for with an even better trim package. I worked with Geoff the salesman who was more than thorough during the whole process. After the emissions were taken care of with VW Corporate (which Valenti argued with on my behalf) I was able to buy the car at the price that was promised from the beginning even thought the value of the car had gone up in the area. I would highly recommend Valenti VW for their patience, honesty, and loyalty with the promises they kept during the whole process.
