Marlin is the greatest. There is never a problem he can t fix. He always charges an extremely fair price. He s honest. Your a lunatic If you go to any other mechanic other than Marlin.

We were just passing through when we got a flat tire. We made our way to Broadway Tire and were so blessed that God put Marlin Hoffman, the owner, in our path. He was so very helpful and had us back on our way quickly. Thank you for WONDERFUL service. God bless you!!!

Brought in a vehicle that needed an wheel bearing, right side, when picking it up I was informed that the wheel bearing on the opposite side needed replacement they had the vehicle and did not check it , and than was informed that I would need to make another appointment to have the other changed - with a waiting time of TWO weeks

While on vacation in Mystic I walked out to my car to find the tire pressure low and a small leak coming from one of my tire pressure monitor stems. Since I have a car that doesn't come with a spare, getting the leak fixed was taking up a lot of brain space. I showed up at Broadway first thing in the morning and within an hour,and in 15 minutes, was on my way with peace of mind with a fix in place, at a very fair price. I highly recommend Broadway and Marlin for fast, courteous, competent and affordable service.Service: Tires

Our catalytic converter was stolen from our car at a nearby hotel. We came to Broadway and everyone was amazing. Took a look at the car, gave us some information, and housed us in their office for hours while we made a plan to get back to NY that day with our car. To say they were helpful and gracious is an understatement.

During our ride back from Acadia and while still having a long ride ahead of us, one of the rear wheels started to make noises. The BRAKES on my 2010 Jeep were not only making a grinding noise but also felt like the Calipers weren't releasing like they should. Upon suggestions from several of my neighbors and friends I took a chance and drove down to Broadway Auto. I was basically a "walk-in" with no appt. Keep in mind all the bays were full with other cars waiting their turn to be repaired. I spoke with Marlin the owner and explained my situation. He was pleasant and professional and said I am jammed solid for the next two weeks BUT I don't want you driving your car around with brake problems. If you leave your car with me this afternoon I will try to fit you in and have the brake job done and ready for you to pick up tomorrow morning. Sure enough Marlin called me at 10:15 next morning saying my car is done and ready to pick. He not only stuck to his cost projection but went over the details down to parts & labor. I think it's obvious by now that I am VERY happy to find an honest and friendly mechanic where my wife and I can bring our vehicles. Highly recommended !! Thanks Marlin.

My car started making a terrible noise from one of the wheel wells and they helped me on the phone FREE of charge. My car was all good to go within minutes and when I drove over they were incredibly kind and refused to take any of my money. I can t recommend them enough!

I called Marvin on a Tuesday to let him know that my car has again broke down. As he fixed one of the 5 potential coils that should be looked at on my 07 Volvo, I wanted him to take another look because it sounded and acted the same way. He stated he was backed up that day and there was a storm coming Wednesday and asked if I could wait a couple days before towing. I understood this, things happen. I rented a car for one week due to my job needs which gave me time not to worry other than the financial strain of both car rental and broken car.I called Marvin on Friday to ask if it was okay to tow now. He said may have time to look at it if I got it there by noon, but worse case it would be on Monday. Which I did, by noon.I did not hear on Friday. I called Monday. He stated he ran a diagnostic computer check and it has a misfire. It could be coils or spark plugs or both but did not have time to figure that out on Monday or look closely.I stated that I had my rental car until Wednesday and it was costing me a lot to do and to please look and repair by Wednesday.I called Wednesday and Marvin stated he again had not looked at the car and was 3 weeks behind with other customers who already had appointments and that he has no clue what is wrong with my car.I reminded him, as he forgot, that he TOLD ME on Monday it was coil or spark plugs.Today is Thursday. I called this morning and he said it's not his problem. That I should never have had it towed there if I was in such a rush and he told me several times he was already 3 weeks behind.When asked why he did not tell me this 8 days ago and $619.00 later on a rental car he became furious over the phone and told me I am welcome to come get the car or to tow it elsewhere.I reminded him that he is the one who told me to have it towed Friday with no mention it would take over a week to fix.When he called to tell me it was ready the fee was $382.97 and it was coils and spark plugs and come get the car. When I called 30 minutes prior to pick up he informed me that my timing belt was worn and it is $800-900 to fix and if I do not fix it then the motor will freeze and the car will die.I asked him why he was telling me this information as I was almost on my way to getting the car, his response was that he does not have the time for this until September. My question was why did he not tell me upon letting me know it was my coils.I would have called AAA to have the car towed to another garage to fix the timing belt as it is dangerous to drive, my car will die if it breaks, and I could die going over the Gold Star Bridge.He screamed at me over the phone and said he was busy and he hung up.I own a business. I am fair and patient. He has had multiple chances to do the right thing but instead felt that accosting me over the phone for his overextended schedule was my fault. I have never met a more unprofessional and rude mechanic in my entire life. Thanks for putting my life at risk Marvin and thanks for the $1000 bill this week plus another week of timing headaches.ps- My friend took a car in to have you look at her AC. You quoted her $600 because you need to remove the entire jeep dash. Good thing she took it to Auto Zone for a $40.00 remedy right? After I recommended you.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

My family was visiting the Mystic for the day and when we arrived our car started acting up. I called a few places, and everyone was closing, but the folks at Broadway auto stayed late to run some diagnostics to see if I could make it home. Unfortunately I could not make it home, but I left the car with them. They not only fixed it the very next day they were open, but they charged a very reasonable price. Being in a tough situation they were very helpful, and did not take advantage of the fact I was from out of town. I don't get that kind of service in most of my local repair shops.

Today I had unexpected car trouble, while running an errand for work. I happened to be on route 1 and pulled into Sea Swirl to get off the road... after sitting in the parking lot at a loss for what to do I noticed Broadway Auto behind sea swirl. I walked in and was immediately met by Marlin who told me to pull right up and he d take a listen/look. Within less than 5 minutes they found and resolved the issue. To top it off, they wouldn t even charge me! Thank you for going above and beyond to help me, it is appreciated more than you know.

Marlin is a consummate professional who I trust with all my family vehicles, foreign and domestic. Friendly, inviting clean professional shop...no spilled gas and oil all over the floors in his place! I really cant say enough about this man, his diagnostic and repair skills and his shop. Amazing customer service and amazing service! I was having an issue with my brakes and they got me in the same day, figured out the issue, and had them replaced that afternoon. Easy to talk to, honest, great people. Cannot say enough good things about my experience! I will not go anywhere else again.

Passing through and discovered that we were missing 2 lug nuts on one of our tires. It was lunch time, but the owner jumped up and helped us immediately and also checked the other tires. Really nice guy.

Our tire picked up a small screw somewhere on our drive from Ohio to Rhode Island. Since we knew we were stopping for lunch in Mystic, we found this gem on Google Maps. Even on a busy day Andrew inspected our tire, found the problem, inserted a plug, reinspected the tire, and we were on our way 15 minutes later. Support this business! Thanks Andrew!!

Great full service station, owned and operated by local residents. They have a knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating staff. Better than going to ones with rotating management and completely off-site corporate owners!

Wonderful owner who will often help out with small issues at no cost. Larger issues are also handled at very reasonable rates. Knowledgeable workers an excellent service. Highly recommended.

I called looking to get work done for my husband truck and when I said what was needed all I got was not interested and click. No no I m sorry we don t do that here or a Referal. Won t be going to this place for work if the workers can t even be nice to a person or customer calling.
