I called to replace a universal do to a bad vibration, Amy told me to be there at 7 and they would squeeze me into the schedule. Turns out it was a slip join and my driveshaft was out of balance.. it took all day but everyone was doin ten different projects at the same time . They treated me like I was a long time customer . I usually do my own work and don't trust many but I trust these guys .

Had major brake issues on my truck. It was short notice but they got me in and fixed up. They went above and beyond to get me rolling again when most places will turn you away.

Well, my experience was not good at all. I took my bus there to get some leaking gaskets replaced in January 2021 i received a call a week later saying the bus would not start, no power. They spent 2 hrs trying to figure it out. It took me 15 minutes to diagnose bead batteries (but they have 40 years of experience). After replacing the batteries the bus would not crank which happen to be a bad starter and its now March 2021. A voicemail was left stating that Gillig was no longer in business and there was nothing that they could do and they Courville's had no experience with working on my bus. After disclosing that i record all my phone calls(i work with people's personal finances details are important) needless to say problems were fix in a few days. Should have just taken these idiots to court and let my lawyer Steve W...e work their bank over.Service: Part finding & extracting

It all started Jan. 29th, 2020, I spoke to Derek multiples times regarding my truck to have the motor fully rebuilt with a Platinum over haul. Once the truck was there, Derek wouldn t return any of my phone calls and I never heard from him regarding the status of my truck to keep me updated, I have tried texting as well nothing, After I agreed with Amy in the office with the quote to rebuild my caterpillar C13 engine as well as new turbos etc. A few days after I call them for a update, they didn t call me, I had to call them to find out from Amy that I need a new crank, camshaft, rockers, and much much more... This increased the original quote another $14,000. At this point my total price would have been $45,000 and this is not even replacing everything on my c13 cat engine. I told Amy to stop what they are doing and had to have my truck towed back home in pieces, they also said they were going to charge me to box up all my engine components and pieces and to move other trucks in the way, in fact Derek and both Amy lied about because there was nothing blocking the truck in. I had a very close friend of mine take a look through the garage window and it was wide open to move my truck. After I get my truck home, not only is my front bumper bent and scratched from being pushed with a forklift, but their are multiple parts missing as well as my backup alarm was smashed, very unprofessional and careless if you ask me. The tow bill to tow the truck home was a hour over of what it took the guy. I would not wish this on my worse enemy. I work hard for my money and would not like to see this happen to any other hard working person like they did to me. Not only did I lose $5000 because of dishonesty and trying to take advantage but I lost a month I could have worked with my truck. I then bring all my parts boxed up to Tri State Kenworth and had them look over everything. Everything was handled professionally from there from start to finish. Not only did they stick to their quote but I had the shop manager look over my engine and he confirmed I did not need a crank, I did not need a camshaft, and 1 turbo. Everything was done professionally as promised. I got a call from Tri State that they had messed up on the quote 1 day prior to pickup and they told me since it was there mistake they threw in the high pressure turbo at no extra cost. When I received my motor back all finished within 2 weeks of time and at $15,000 less then Courville s Garage, it came out like a work of art, fully painted, all new nuts bolts and everything done professionally, My truck runs like brand new they also gave me a 3 year warranty as Courville s was only going to give me a 1 year and that was only if i replaced everything otherwise Courville s wouldnt stick by it. Tri State offered aswell a free Dyno run. Anything else in my future I will be going to Tri State Kenworth. So in the conclusion stay as far away as possible from Courville s Garage. I would not like to see Derek and Amy do this to any other hard working person like they did to me. My next phone call is the State of CT because this company should never get away with this or burn anyone else like I got burned or conduct business in this manner.Included below are photos of how I recieved my truck back from Courville s Garage, And then photos of the motor completed by Tri State Kenworth. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.

Beginning of January 2017 I had a break down and decided to have my semi truck towed to this place from where I was. This wasn't the closest place to where I was but it was pretty close. The reason that I have chosen this shop is that they had their own towing service AND they are claiming to be Cummins authorized dealer (my Volvo has cummins engine). They started to work on the truck as soon as the shop opened at 8am and until the next day at 10am they were still "troubleshooting". That was the response to my several phone calls to find out what is going on with the truck. Basically,, after nearly 10 hours of "troubleshooting" they couldn't find the problem. After realizing that they don't know what they're doing, I have decided to pull my truck out of the shop and to start heading towards my home terminal in Chicago (without load) hoping that the truck will make it that far. Of course, they wouldn't let me check out the truck before paying for the "service". The "service" amounted $2,009!!! I have to be fair, the price included towing from the distance of 10 miles, but the rest of the charge was for their troubleshooting.I left the shop but unfortunately, the truck didn't make it too far and I ended up having it towed to Volvo dealership in Wilkes Barre in PA. I have paid hell of a lot money for towing but the dealership was able to locate AND fix a problem within couple of hours after being checked in. The problem was wiring that costed $410 (!!!) and my truck was again fully operative with no issues.I have send the request for a refund several times to the Courville's Garage, demanded to speak with the manager/owner but no one ever responded to several of my fax letters.Just to make a clear statement, I wasn't asking for the full refund since I wanted to honor the fact that they have towed my truck and trailer, therefore I have asked for a refund of $1,400 (out of $2,000; I think it would be more than fair/generous to pay $600 for having truck and trailer towed for 10 miles distance).I have never had worse experience with the repair shops anywhere in the United States and would recommend everyone to avoid this place.
