I'm not typically a review writer but I have to say the team at Meineke Car Care Center in Monroe are well worth taking the time to write about. I had my car in a few times mostly for minor stuff and the team has always been extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Last time I went in I needed some major work done. Steve and his team were great! He was very detailed in explaining the problems and resolutions, going over everything step by step, including pricing out different scenarios. They are definitely the best and I won't be going anywhere else from now on! See ya in 3 months for my oil change! :)****Back again 4 months later. Brakes, tires and an oil change. The guys were just as great as before. Steven worked with me to ensure my vehicle was going to be safe to drive and yet not break the bank. He and his staff are always accommodating, personable and knowledgeable. Thank you guys for making a difficult time a little less stressful!

So I shopped around for tires for a while and no one could come close to Steve @ Meineke. When I purchased the tires and alignment, I was given a free re-alignment by Steve (an $80 value) and wasn t sure if I was going to use it because generally I try to get my oil changes done by the smaller garages. I went back today to utilize my free service in conjunction with an oil change and tire rotation and Eddie was beyond knowledgeable and helpful and extremely fast. The location is convenient, up-to-date, and always clean. I highly recommend going here and you won t be disappointed.

Great service! I made an appointment same day went in for my brakes and they were able to fit me in before closing. Very friendly and explained everything to me. Will definitely be using them again.10/16/19 update- these guys saved my car twice in the last week... first after breaking down on highway and the a week later for check engine light. Quick diagnosis and repair, very happy!

I took my Hyundai in to mount, balance and align 4 new tires that I purchased online. It ended up costing me less than $100 which was a huge relief, even after one of the tires I bought elsewhere was faulty. Joe and the staff was very helpful in helping me with ordering a new one which came quickly. I really felt the staff went above and beyond their duty to satisfy this customer. I will be back again and I'll recommend them to anyone.

Had a snow tire changeover and alignment performed. Good work at a great price. Everything went very smooth except my tires were not inflated to spec. I thought that would have been included. I believe it to be an honest mistake. I would still recommend this establishment.

Update; Had to update my review. I really like these people personally, my initial impression was great because of this. After having had some more serious work done here, and yes I understand it may have been complicated, I left feeling like I could have done it myself and saved the costs. This place is great for the standard car maintenance, just maybe not for the more complicated work I'm looking to have done without costing a lot of time and money.Original review:This is a great place to go for any service issues. I'm someone who's mechanically inclined, they are extremely understanding and work with what I'd like done. I'd highly recommend coming here, the prices are fair, they do it in a good amount of time, and the service is thorough!They are the support I need to get the tough jobs done which I just can't do!

First time I took my Lexus for service somewhere other than Lexus. I needed a repair on my exhaust pipe, and Lexus only replaces; not repairs. Went here, based on reviews, only to find they recommended replacement vs repair due to where the 'holes' in the exhaust pipe were. They were able to replace my exhaust pipe at a much better price than what I would have paid at the Lexus service dept. Steve and Eddie were awesome!

I had brought my vehicle in for general maintenance, Eddie worked with me and took the time to make sure what I needed done was actually needed and worth my money. A couple of things needed to be ordered yet they came in the next day and were quick and efficient with the work. We talked about a couple of things to be done and when there was more work needed Eddie called me and explained that he found other stuff that was wrong and checked with me before fixing it to make sure I wanted it done and still agreeing to have these other added things fixed it did not affect the time I waited. The prices were fair, great customer service and super friendly staff. Definitely going to do all my future business here.

Picked up 4 tires at tire rack and needed an install. Also after 120K miles on the keep it needed new struts and shocks, and was having a few brake issues. Pulled into Meineke, and Doug immediately set me up for a quick test drive with Carlos. After that they had me up on the lift in 5 minutes all with no appointment. Got everything done in about 6 hours. Doug and Carlos are extremely knowledgable and the custom service was A1. Highly recommend this service center for a refreshingly old school experience.

Excellent Service. Meineke in Monroe is wonderful, they are honest, efficient, diagnose your auto issues quickly and give you an estimate before doing any work. The technicians are cute too! I have had them work on my mustang and other vehicles. Would recommend them to friends and family

I went there recently for a simple oil change not long ago and that's it. I maintain my car well and know everything inside and out.The manager Steven Riddle was rude and shady from the start. He claimed I needed brakes (they were brand new), a cabin filter( brand new) and claimed he heard a "noise coming from the engine" (no noise at all as I had it checked out before runs perfect). When I said no thanks he became further rude and claimed my car was in danger with bad brakes. I said thanks but no thanks.I filed a complaint with Corporate and the BBB. Do not go there! That manager Steven something is wrong with him!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I cannot say enough good things about this place!! My car was a mess and I walked out of there with it running better than when I got it!! Their prices are more than fair, quality work, and I really felt taken care of. I was there waiting with my 2 children. They have crayons, paper, TV, and a little separate seating area where we waited comfortably. The manager Doug was OUTSTANDING. He even gave the boys a few quarters to pick candy from the little dispenser. Also hands down the cleanest *nicest* garage I've ever been in. 5 stars!!!! Will never go anywhere else again.

I have a great experience everytime I go to this location. They are professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly courteous. Eddie helped me diagnose my car and get it back on the road in a timely fashion before leaving for a trip. They care about customer service and that's what stood out to me the most. I will always be taking my car here for any needs or repairs. Thanks guys!

Came to Meineke Monroe for the first time a few weeks ago with a coolant leak in my truck. I can't say enough good things about this car care center. The staff is very friendly, courteous and accomodating...even went out of their way to give me a ride home (I live about 5mins away) instead of waiting for the car there. The car was done later in the day and the staff very clearly communicated what needed to be done and the cost of that work. Although I had to bring the car back a few weeks later because the problem came back, it was still covered by warranty and free of charge. The work to fix the issue was done without any haggle or fuss on my end. Truly a professional, well run operation and they earned my trust and future business.

My wife brought our car to have the front brakes done. The employee asked her if she wanted the most price efficient, middle of the road, or top of the line. She asked for the most price efficient service and was quoted the same as a gentleman who came in and asked for the middle of the road. Further I sent her with a coupon for $50 off brake service and she was told it was based on how many axles so since she only had the front done she could not use it. Okay no problem, she presented another coupon for $25 off a service. The employee stated that he already discounted the pads so she couldn t use the coupon. I appreciate the discount on the pads but feel the coupon still should have been honored and $90 + for each rotator does not seem to me to be the most price efficient. Plus she was told it would take about an hour and she waited over 2 hours. Wife says the brakes are better so that s why I gave 3 stars but don t think we will return due to price and wait time.

The first time we came here was because we needed our rear bulb changed for the Honda Pilot...Didn t realize a few weeks later I would bring in that same car for a full blown everything...New engine, new starter...they went the whole nine yards! These guys did an amazing job! Gave us updates while things were progressing! Highly recommend this place! Great job on my car....amazing customer service! Thanks for going above & beyond!

Lucky for me I was not too far from Meineke after finding my car had a "pancake flat" tire when I came out of the grocery store. I was able to get air in it with a portable battery/compressor so I drove down Route 25 to find a service place that could fix it. Few gas stations fix tires anymore. I saw Meineke and stopped there, and they took care of it promptly despite it being busy day for them. AND they did not charge me anything! While waiting I heard their phone conversations with customers as well as those who came in, and they sounded very professional and polite. In addition to a pleasant waiting room, there is a counter area where you can sit and use your laptop if you have to stay for a while. Nice folks! Thank you, Jason.

Called for a rough estimate on a full brake job, made an appointment. They took my car back right away, the price I paid was right around the estimate I was given over the phone. Found a $50 discount online that they accepted. Job was done in half the time they originally told me. Nice friendly staff will be using again in the future

Use extremely deceptive sales tactics and prey on the unknowing. Went in for FR/R pad replacement and left with pads and front rotors for $750. Honda told me a week prior that my rotors were fine, but against my better judgement I had this scam shop replace them. They didn't use new or quality parts despite charging me an arm and a leg. Run of the mill franchise staffed with con artists trying to boost their commission checks. I wouldn't reccomend this place even if your car broke down outside their front door. Disgusted.

I stopped into the Monroe Meineke because my tire pressure light was on. I was told by Stephen to pull around and they would check pressure. Found low tire and took the time to find the screw causing the problem. They fixed it immediately. I was thrilled with the prompt courteous service since I had the same problem months ago and was treated very rudely by the owner of another muffler shop. Thank you Stephen!

My wife went there in the middle of her workday the car that we had just bought was making a very loud noise. These guys accommodated her and went above and beyond to diagnose the problem and find her the cheapest alternative with the highest level of service and care. Very friendly, very honest and good old fashion service is here trust is very hard to find these days and I bring all of my cars to these guys now !

Came in with a flat tire and no appt. Eddy was super helpful and within about 30 minutes I was paying for a flat repair and heading home! Thankful that I didn't need to buy a new tire due to their service.

Place is clean, workers look nice BUT i had the worse experience. I ended up paying $1600 for wrong diagnoses and overpriced parts that I learned after. I was charged $150 for a piece for coils that I learned that OEM is $49 a piece, spark plugs the same story. They overcharge if you don't know the problem and prices. First they tried to charge $200 a piece for coils, after I learned that each costs only $49, he gave me $50 discount on each after I complaint. The worse part is after all of these, engine light came back again in 2 days, went back and I was told problem is something else. So, I ended up paying $1600 for NOTHING, and also probably gave my OEM BMW parts away. I would say go somewhere else that you can trust.

Let me tell you how things work at this Meineke location.. The front office staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the mechanics are quick and honest, and the waiting area is modern and convenient. I have actually set up my (virtual) office ... Hooked up to the free WiFi... Had a complimentary coffee... And got my car fixed.Pretty awesome.

I called Meineke last minute because I had a flat tire and they moved around their schedule to accommodate me. I had an issue with Enterprise and my warranty, but J.J helped me out and made sure I left with a safe new tire. Very glad I went here!!

An easy experience. My car needed significant work in preparation for an upcoming trip and Doug made it happen in one day. Even found a way to work around a problem due to the age and condition of my car - saved me a sizable amount of $$$. I'll certainly be back for future services.

Staff switched over from Doug & Chantal to Jayson & team in the past year. Jayson & his brother are super nice and the Meineke is the newest one you ve ever been to: waiting room and equipment are the latest and greatest. Service quality however isn t good I want to like this place but I ve had one too many bad experiences to come back again: 1) simple tire swap from one rim to another: they busted the TPMS sensor and I ended up going from a slow beak leak (from their previous attempt) to a fast leak that left me w/ 15 PSI (and falling rapidly) over 20 miles away. Out of desperation I had to replace the TPMS sensor at the nearby dealer to the tune of $265 - too hard to get Meineke Corporate to help - eating the $50 spent originally at Meineke plus the $265. Claimed driving it with falling pressure broke it: absolutely do not believe it and absolutely ruined my day. It s called a bead breaker and careless work. Sorry. 2) dented my brand new TRD stainless steel muffler on installation - it s only visible under the truck but still annoying to look at every time I m under there. 3) left brake lines unbolted (and dangling around) after a 1.5 spacer lift. Rebolting or a heads up would have been nice 4) had to come back 3 times to have my steering wheel aligned straight after an alignment job. 5) told me they tested cylinder compression at ~140-150 PSI and I tested it at ~200 PSI (they didn t actually test it). These are a mix of experiences between Doug s team and Jayson s team but the pattern is the same: don t come here if you have anything other than a run of the mill problem and run of the mill vehicle. You will end up disappointed.

This place is incredible!! I have never seen another shop like it. Staff are great, total pros and take the time to go over the car in detail with me. I have worked with the GM at his other sites and where ever he goes that's where i want my car. Thank you Chris for always treating me and my car with the absolute best service every single time.

Talked to manager Eddie last year about my car being damaged due to an oil change and he would not take fault until I called corporate today and manager was very unprofessional and irate. Demanded us to leave bay when we debated over car damage/price. Highly recommend finding somewhere else to go service.
