This shop fantastic and I highly recommend them! Even though I ve moved to New Haven, I will still bring my car here because I trust them and they re kind to boot! I went for a regular oil change in the fall last year and they noticed my air conditioning had an issue (I ve known about it) and yet the Toyota dealership said not a single thing when I took it for an inspection earlier in the year. Today Patrick checked and secured the plastic undercarriage of my car because I accidentally drove too far over a parking block and caused some damage (yes I know, it was a silly thing but he didn t judge me for it, more points for Monro). He also checked on strange noises coming from my wheel and let me know how expensive it would be to order parts for my air conditioning! I ve got a big drive coming up and I feel safe in my car now. Patrick also made sure I didn t leave my umbrella behind in the shop! Thank you guys!

Great shop, Patrick is awesome. These guys don't take ages to finish and they do the job right. In addition their pricing is very fair and they are willing to work with you for what you need on your vehicle. 10/10 keep up the great work!

I ve gone to Monro for years, previously with a Fleet managed car and now my personal vehicle. All experiences have been great! They are knowledgeable and perform great work for a competitive price. Above all, they are honest and straightforward with their customers. No B.S. or misleading the customer into unnecessary repairs, which is a breath of fresh air in today s market. 10/10 recommend!

I was travelling from Ct to Boston on Monday March 4th when my tires started to loose pressure even after filled them twice that morning. I was in Milford CT, and I googled tire shop. The closest location was Monro Auto Service and tire Center.I called the place and I was directed to come in right away. The attendant was very courteous and asked me to leave the keys in vehicle and to have a seat.I could see from the glass all the work that was being performed. all 4 tires we checked and the front driver side seemed to have had a nail in it. after 25 minutes or so, the attendant came and told me that "you are all set". When I handed him my credit card, I was shocked to hear him say, "no need, drive safely back to Boston" I insisted but the gentleman said no you're good,This was one the best experience that I have with any car repair shop in the last 30 years. I give this place 10 stars for making my day and I recommend that shop to anyone in Milford and surrounding towns. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Best and most honest guys around! I Would not take my car anywhere else, so happy to have found them after getting nickel and dimed at another establishment, these guys are heaven sent... they do such a great job even while being so busy all the time, they make the best effort to accommodate. Had my first oil change today at Monro, the gentlemen who took down my info was pleasant. I had called yesterday and got a price of 39.99 it also advertises that price on the building. My grand total was 103.00, I paid him but was disappointed - I can't stand false advertisement

They patched up a tire leak and I was in and out in 25 minutes, and they didn t charge me a dime! Nice guys, definitely would use them again!

All around great experience with these guys. Good customer service, friendly and prompt. Came in with tire issues and received help right away and was completed within an hour. Will go back to them for service again.

These guys were good to me before esp Mano but now i never met Patrick and 1st time hes doing work for me bad inpressionI wanted my compressor done for my ac. I mentioned to him about online shop and he said they are good..they use it all time. So i said ok i went on June 23, 2023 so he can get info he needs for compressor. He gave me his cell number.I txt Patrick wjats status coz i havent heard anything. He said his card got hacked has to cancel and reorder with new credit card which he has to get new card. Few weeks went by nothing i txted, it should come next week . Few weeks went by, he got the part ..wrong size!!!!Has to get in junk yard few weeks went by nothing from Patrick. I called shop spoke to Mano, explained to him whats going on coz he doesnt knw whats going on and he said Patrick gor new cell phone. Im like what ?! Without telling me. U could sync all contacts from old to new cell phone. Im thinking how could Mano not know what his boys at the shop is doing ?As a mechanic u shoudl let customer know status i dnt care if ordering part on online shop is side gig , mechanic should inform customer. I understand ok debit or credit card got hacked. Go to nearest bank and they will issue u new card that dayAnyways now its Aug 29, 2023 no compressor.I hope Mano reads this. My friend who suggested him defends him and said maybe hes going thru stuff. Well maybe he needs time off. Maybe he shouldnt be working if he going thru stuff. I dnt knw. But dont take it out on customer.

I ve been taking my 2003 Honda Accord to this auto shop for over a year now. The shop s manager, Mano is phenomenal, he knows his stuff and he always has a smile on his face.It s a pleasure taking my almost 20-year old car to this mechanic, he treats his customers with respect, communicates well, explaining details in laymen s terms and is very fair.Those of us who aren t mechanically inclined have to have the utmost trust in our mechanics because if we didn t, we d be wondering whether or not the work done was necessary. Trust is everything in relationships worth anything and most notably, in this context, when dealing with a mechanic. I rest assured knowing I can trust Mano and his team. Trust doesn t come cheap, however, it s earned, the old fashioned way, through repeated instances and examples.Writing this review has made me smile and I can t say that I ve ever written a review and smiled from ear to ear as I am doing right now. I love this guy.I highly recommend Monro Auto Service and Mr. Mano Mendes, Store Manager and the crew are top notch.Rick Dumas

Mano is amazing! He was friendly and knowledgeable. I haven't lived here long so didn't have a regular mechanic (until now!) and everyone else was busy, but they all said they would have to change my starter at the very least. (and one job I had done recently, he showed me where they didn't sodder what should have been, on my muffler) He checked a few things out and explained and showed me everything! It ended up being my grounding wire and was less than $100 when everyone else said it would have at least been over $400. (and Pep Boys in Bridgeport, who I know scams you, but I called just to get an idea of pricing, told me it would cost me $800 - $1200!) I'm going back tomorrow to fix the muffler job the other guy didn't do right and in another week taking my other vehicle to have the breaks fixed. I am soooo excited to get someone I can trust!!! (don't let the muffler sign throw you off!) I cannot recommend highly enough!

Cant say enough good things. Called ahead to get a screw removed from my tire and plugged. They were very helpful on the phone and were able to accommodate my work schedule for easy drop off and pick up. Helped me to and from my car with the tire, were so kind and helpful! Fast, easy service. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Thank you again to the two gentlemen working today.

Absolute best around here, they have a low operating budget so you have to understand that they do what they can with the resources they are given.The assistant manager, Patrick is a really really good guy. Ask for him by name and tell him I sent you for a discount lol.

I gotta say, 4 years working at Enterprise and I ve never seen someone like Mano. Upmost respect, professionalism, customer service for me and everyone I sent his way. Mano get 10/10, 5 stars, 100%, even when he s swamped with work to do he always takes the time to help out and give all attention needed. The crew there is super quick, super helpful and super efficient. Fantastic, courteous service with a smile. After driving cross country for 5 days my Nissan van had two damaged tire rims. Even though it spent 8 hours at the local dealer getting a new AC compressor they neglected to fix the rims which were causing a slow leak in both tires. Pulled up to Monro Auto in Milford the next morning and they pounded out the rims, checked pressure in all four tires and I was back on the road again in 10 minutes flat. No charge. I was stunned. If I lived here I wouldn t get my tires or oil changes anywhere else. Those of you who do are lucky to have honest, friendly auto service at your disposal. Skip the dealer racket and go to Monro on Bridgeport! They ll treat you like neighbors, not bipeds attached to a credit card.

The mechanics at Monroe Muffler are very professional and punctual. I had Patrick change my intake manifold, he gave me a date and time when I came in he took care of it right away. The intake runner was damaged probably from the dealer packaging he pointed out to me and had me contact the dealership right away. He figured out a way to put it together so that I can be able to drive my car for couple days until I get the new intake runner from the dealer. Once I got the new runner I called him he gave me an appointment the next day, I went there he put the runner for me for free. I needed to take the time to thank Patrick, Mano and the entire team at Monroe Muffler in Milford true professional.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

***Update i went here for a alignment, the price was so worth it and it came with a 1 year warranty. What i love about these guys. If i feel something is off or a light came on after the work, they are willing to look at it without asking for your credit card. That is what call amazing customer service!!These are exhaust Experts!!! My Muffler fell off. I went to them the next day. They got me a muffler system that day, I was surprised because mufflers for mini coopers aren't so readably available. The pricing was great and they sorted out anything until I was satisfied. I was was very happy going to them and if some needs exhaust help I will send over to these guys.

Amazing experience getting my tires fixed. These guys could not have been nicer or more helpful. They repaired punctures in all four of my tires, did so professionally, and really helped me out. I will be back with more work for this shop for sure!

Patrick and his crew took my car in without an appointment, plugged my tire and even gave me the nail as a souvenir! This is after I was told the tire couldn t be plugged at another shop. Great service! Will bring my car back here again.

Had just finished traveling from the south up to CT. Noticed I had a slow leak after being in CT for a few days. Was able to stop by Monro on a Sunday afternoon when most tire shops in the area that I found were closed on the weekends. That said, I spoke with Patrick a auto technician who was friendly fixed my tire within ten minutes and didn t charge me a dime! Would definitely recommend Monro for any of your tire needs!!! Thanks again Patrick!!!

Patrick could not do enough for me. A gentleman at Auto Zone, told me to drive on down to Monroe - and that Patrick could help with the battery issue I had. Not only did he say, "come back tomorrow", which I did - he fixed the issue and applied a non corrosive treatment to the contacts so that I would never have the problem again. Noone had ever done that before. Now my 15 year old Hyundai starts up on a dime every day....and I'm able to keep the car (as I am retired) and avoid a new car payment. You have to come here. Even the gentleman from Auto Zone had said that this particular Monroe is Always busy...because of their dedication, knowledge, and honesty. I'm so glad that I found them. Beth Halleran - Milford.

Went for an oil change & left with a smile. Monroe Muffler Brake & Service of Milford Ct gave me exceptional service. Joe was extremely professional & knowledgeable regarding my concerns. There was no pressure to up sell - just honest facts on my vehicle . Joe's main concern was me driving home safe. With the constant change of management finally we have a solid team .
