Had a bad radio install done by a competitor i brought my truck to Milford auto sound and they did an outstanding job and I'm totally satisfied and would recommend them to anyone.. Very neat and professional.

The father and son team are extremely courteous and hospitable. Service was swift and professional. I called to inquire about a remote starter on a Saturday afternoon and Monday morning I had an appointment and installed in less than 90 minutes. I am telling all of my family and friends to see these guys for their audio and auto security needs.

I went there to get a car starter and car alarm for my Rav4. The best place to go if you want the best customer service. Sam was great and made sure everything was installed properly and everything funtioned correctly. He even goes above and beyond if something wrong happens. The alarm wasnt working right the 1st day and he replaced it with no extra cost and no hassle the following day. I would definitely reccomend anyone going here to shop there. His prices are good and he is a great person. I'm definetly going back if I need something done again. Thank you Sam for being great and installing my car alarm and car starter.

I learned about this business through Groupon. After calling to verify if my car qualified for a remote car starter installation, Sam was able to schedule an appointment that weekend and installed within a 2-hour time frame. He was extremely kind, knowledgeable and patient. Thank you for helping me surprise my husband on his birthday with this install.

I was looking to replace my old remote starter and found Milford Auto Sound Security. After speaking with Sam I booked an appointment immediately. He is very informative and the pricing is comparable to others. When I picked up my car he took the time to show me how to use it. Needless to say I love my new remote starter! I'll be a repeat customer and highly recommend this business!

Can't speak highly enough about the quality of service I received this past Friday. Called around the state to price automatic car starters for my vehicle. When I called Milford Auto SS, I spoke to Sam. I was extremely pleased by Sam's knowledge and professionalism. Upon arrival, we were able to work out a package at a very reasonable price. Furthermore, Sam stayed after business hours to install the product the same day. Overall amazing experience !

Such nice people! My mom-mobile stereo died and I needed a replacement that was not over the top and not going to make me claim bankruptcy. Never felt pressure to buy the biggest and baddest. I can now have my music blasting and sing louder than before because my system is amazing and just what I needed. I am never going anywhere else for any stereo needs. Might even get a remote starter and you can guarantee I will go here!And yes, my kids are embarrassed by my overly loud jams and sing sessions, totally worth every penny.

A+ experience at Milford Auto Sound and Security. I needed a security installed right away and I received same day service. Ed is very knowledgeable and professional. He is very detailed in explaining what his services include and about the products that he sells . I had security system installed. He provided a professional and perfect installation. When my truck was ready he explained the operation of the unit, programmed features I needed. He provide me with what I needed and more. He made sure my truck was protected with all the bell and whistles. I am extremely happy with the product, and the service I received! I highly recommend Milford Auto Sound and Security! I usually don t do reviews but, my experience at MILFORD AUTO SOUND AND SECURITY was one of the best I have ever experienced. The people are really polite and offered me water. They made me feel very welcome, and took really good care of my car.My car is very important to me and that guy ( SAM ) really did a clean professional job. He even gave me some car refreshers for free. That s the kind of people we need in this industry. I would recommend everyone to go check him out.

I had a gift card for a remote starter and unknowingly the owners changed. The new owner Sam was kind enough to honor the gift card from the last owner and agreed to put in the remote starter. A great business practice and way to keep customers happy, I would be glad to recommend them! It is much appreciated!

I had my wife take her car in thinking that they were going to install what I paid for. I paid for a four button remote starter. The guy said he told my wife that she would have to carry an extra remote if he installed the four button remote starter. Instead of putting in what I paid for he installed a one button remote starter. If I pay for a service it's because that's what I wanted done. He should have installed what I paid for. Not only that my wife had to leave her car there because the key in the ignition. Supposably they had to have another key made to have the car unlocked. They said that if we wanted the key it was another$100 dollars. We had to buy it because we didn't want them to keep a key that unlocked our car. This was my first and last time giving them my business.

My husband called Milford Auto Sound &security to install stereo system in his corvette. He purchased his own stereo system and Sam was to wire the system. Sam gave a quote of $350.00. We left the corvette and he called us 3 hours later that it was ready. When we arrived he told my husband that the speakers were not the right size and billed us another 90 dollars for speakers from his shop. My husband gave him 469 dollars cash. When he left the shop the stereo was working ok but the car horn was not working. My husband checked the speakers and the wires were to short to back speakers and the stereo kept cutting off. He called Sam and made an appointment. We dropped the car off again and picked it up a couple hours later. Sam said there is nothing wrong with it . We came home with the same problem. Also the receipt he gave my husband stated he paid with credit card and charged him tax but it was paid cash. That sounds like fraud to me. Wasted a lot of time, energy and gas plus 469 dollars for installation of own stereo system and does not work. I would not recommend this place for auto sound.

Outstanding!!! I had a new radio installed here. The installation was professional and thorough, and the owner took time to show me the radio even though he was still busy with another job and it was late. He installed the microphone through an unused button on the dash at my request, and it looks like a factory install. His price was fair, and he was completely honest (unlike another local shop that I considered using). I highly recommend this shop.

I had a bunch of questions about a remote starter which the owner was more than willing to answer via instant message, even though it was 10pm on a weeknight! Got an appointment for a couple days later. Couldn t be happier with the outcome. Clean work, great service and I have peace of mind knowing it was installed by someone who really has a passion for what they do. Thanks Ed!

Fantastic shop run by Ed who is extremely honest, hard-working, and does great high quality work. Ed installed a Sony carplay compatible unit in one car and a new speaker set in another. All work great and couldn't be happier with the results. Highly recommend this business and Ed for almost any vehicle audio or electronic work!!

Be Careful!Didn't have the best experience, also didn't have a too bad of an experience. The ONLY reason why I am neutral is because the bad parts about this place canceled out the good review I was going to write originally.THESE ARE NEW OWNERS...so be aware when looking at older reviews. It is not the same people in charge.I'm grateful because I got what I wanted. They even offered me an option to finance the work I wanted done.... AMAZING!HOWEVER...Some things didn't sit well with me.CONS:1) Lack of communication. Instead of making a quick call to say hey sorry we are going to need more time on your car...they let me think my car was still on schedule. (Caused minor problems)2) When I call to follow up at closing time, I get a little sense that they caught an attitude with me like I'm a huge inconvenience. Didn't appreciate that, but kept quiet.3) They made a very small but noticable scratch on the exterior of my car while installing the backup camera.In Conclusion:I personally wouldn't go there anymore. I feel like I didn't get treated respectfully after we made the deal.They are good intentioned people, but I feel that they need more time to get their biz more refined since they just recently took ownership of the shop.

Great job on an install in a 2014 Nissan Altima which I had tried to DIY myself completely screwed up and I was in need of it being fixed today.The stereo that I had for him to install that I had purchased previously unfortunately didn t work luckily he had some really nice units in the office and I picked out one that syncs to my phone perfectly!Very happy with the outcome of 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic customer service, great to work with. I had an automatic starter installed, and it works perfectly. They took the time to make sure I was comfortable using the starter before I left, and let me know I could call any time in the future with questions or issues. I would definitely recommend their services, and would definitely go back in the future.

My boyfriend got me the Apple Car Play that I had been talking about for a year for Christmas! When I bought my car, the dealership suggested going here to get the car play put in as the worked with them specifically. I went there and at the time, it was a little out of my price range, so I couldnt get it. For Christmas this year, my boyfriend purchased a gift certificate from Milford Auto and Sound for the apple car play that I could not stop talking about for a year! I dropped my car off there at 9am, put the keys in the box and left, with no idea what this was going to look like. (i searched some youtube videos but they were all different) when I picked my car back up I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER !! They did an AMAZING job installing the Sony Radio with apple car play! When i went there to pick my car up, everyone was so friendly, we were even. joking around a bit! The man that brought me out to my car, showed me everything on the radio, how to use it, went through everything with me to make sure my camera and steering wheel controls were still working. Everything worked great, and it looks amazing! I could not be happier!Thank you Milford Auto and Sound !!!!

I want to express my gratifying experience at Milford Auto Sound and Security. Edward is very professional and knowledgeable. He is very detailed in explaining his products and services he provides. I had the Drone Mobile security system, GPS, and remote starter installed. It was a professional and clean installation. I am pleased with the product, and the service I received! I highly recommend Milford Auto Sound and Security!

this place is great, I would recommend it to anyone looking for this type of service. I got a remote start put in my 2002 camry and the gentleman who helped me was very informative. additionally, my dash lights were out (speedometer and such) and he fixed them for no extra cost. 5/5!

Sam was very professional and answered all my questions. He installed running board lights and tailgate lights on my silverado. Very friendly and knowledgeable I definitely recommend this place if you want your stuff done the right way !

I don't know where these positive reviews can possibly be coming from. Perhaps the business has recently changed hands...I went here because some of the reviews mentioned quality work done on vintage cars, so I felt confident bringing my recently acquired 1986 VW there. Sadly the shop completely ruined the drop dead mint stock VW cassette deck that was in the car when they replaced a speaker. This is something that can never be replaced at any price.When I dropped the car off I asked if they had the proper tools to remove the radio. I was told yes, they did. When I got the call that the car was ready I was told "there is a little crack that we fixed, nothing to worry about". When I looked at the car I immediately saw where improper tools were used to remove the radio. Honestly, it looked like someone had tried to rip the radio out with a crowbar. The once pristine deck now had 4 large cracks in it and a chunk of it was held on using tape! Also, in a poor attempt to fix this damage, glue was misused, resulting in the cassette deck door being glued onto the top of the unit, rendering it inoperable. The deck also no longer sat in flush with the dash. The tech came out and told me not to worry, he will fix everything. He pulled out the wrong tool and proceeded to jam it in and continue butchering the stereo RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! When I told him he was not using the correct tool he assured me he was and proceeded to struggle, to no avail, to remove the unit. I told him he had done enough damage and to stop what he was doing. He then gave me a partial refund and I left.When I got home things went from bad to worse. I properly and easily removed the radio as I had the correct tools and chunks of the faceplate came falling off. I was furious. The deck is damaged beyond repair. I called and demanded a full refund, which I was told I'd receive. I drove back to the shop where they then tried to short me on the refund.I wanted to like the shop. There aren't many such shops these days. The tech was friendly, but sadly incompetent and dishonest. If you have a beater car and want a $19.99 stereo put in it maybe these guys could do it without too much damage. But if you have something nice, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. And if you find a reputable shop, please let me know. Sadly I need to get my stereo replaced.
