On the evening of 3rd April I had a problem with my rear right tyre. Crystal the receptionist and Ted the technician were in a very helpful manner got me to relax and set to work. Ted found out what the problem was and took care of the problem after he showed me what was causing the loss of air pressure. His estimate of the past was exactly the final bill. I was quite stressed when I arrived at Midas. But the whole experience settled me down because I felt I could safely transport my family member to a doctor's appointment the next day. Grateful Manny

Never had a better oil change experience - they respected that I wanted to change my own air filter etc without being at all pushy or condescending, and checked in with me on a worn tire I should keep an eye on. Really friendly and genuinely caring staff, really fair price.

I have been here several times. The staff is very friendly and they have done good work on my vehicle. Last time they did an oil change they forgot to reset the dash light but promptly fixed this when I mentioned it. Sometimes staff assumes I have no technical knowledge and use simplified vocabulary and explanations which I find mildly annoying. However this is a common occurrence at service garages and I assume they are just trying to be helpful. Update: got an inspection done here on a Saturday before a snowy week. I had no appointment and although it was a weekend I was in and out in about 20 minutes. I had hoped they would help with my underinflated tires but it wasn't what I was there for. Happy to be done with the inspection and appreciate their speedy work despite the garage being full. Another vehicle in tne household needed work and they fit us into the busy schedule. They were unhapy to use parts we already had which made our expenses much higher. Nevertheless they got the job done and the vehicle is back in service. Will keep using this service garage.

After going to countless other shops with my car, I ve finally found the best! Every time I ve needed work done, the team at Midas in Middletown has blown me away with their exceptional service. Steve specifically has worked on my car numerous times and has been amazing! The entire crew there is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Had to get my car emissions done. After calling a few places I came here to Midas. They got me in and out quickly. Staff was friendly. Not sure how they are on other things, but for a first impression, they made a very good one!

Service was excellent. They were quick and very thorough. Fair pricing. They can provide a loaner car with service, big plus for me. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this location of Midas. Always fast, honest, and polite service as always. Aside from Valvoline for quick lube jobs now and then, this is the only other franchise automotive repair shop I trust with my vehicle. They do honest work that is fairly priced and they will go out of their way to keep you as a loyal customer. By far the best service in Connecticut, I take my car here every time I need anything done to it. Work is always done in a timely manner, fairly priced, and everyone who works there is super friendly. Had a flat tire and the manager told me that they couldn t fix it because they closing in 20 minutes. Thank goodness I had enough air to go Firestone. Very unprofessional I don t recommend.

Whenever I don t have time or tools I come here for work, Crystal is always so nice to talk to and one of the nicest front end workers I ve ever met. Prices are reasonable and the warranties are great. Very helpful, nice and honest. The owner came out and talked with me when I was getting my exhaust system fixed, showed me what was wrong with my car. They try to give you a fair deal and avoid upcharging you. They could have easily just replaced my entire exhaust system but they only replaced a few needed parts to see if that would do the job. And it did!

Fantastic. Honest, straightforward and doesn't try to upcharge or give customer more supposedly "necessary" needs. I was raised with father who taught auto mechanics and made me learn and do. Gene and his crew do excellent work, give great advice and are reasonably priced. Service friendly and they don t push to fix unless absolutely necessary. Crystal runs the desk with a smile and friendly chat. We ve been coming here more than 20 years!!!

I received THE BEST service at this Midas. The exhaust fell off my FJ...I called Midas .... spoke to a very nice lady who told me to drop the car off in the morning... a Saturday... by 3:00 that afternoon Jeff had put on a new exhaust & changed my oil .... I paid them... and on my way I went. Yay!!! Everyone that I spoke to was friendly, the service was quick and the work was done at a reasonable price & my FJ is running fine!

I recently brought my car to Midas with a check engine light on. I was due for an emissions test so I wanted to have it fixed. They repaired it quickly and for much less than the dealership. They even did the emissions test right there and it passed. The service was good and everyone was friendly. I will definitely be going back there when my car needs service.

What an amazing experience!! Everyone was exceptional. I had a flat tire on my way home to NY with 80 miles left to go. I was immediately brought into the bay where the diagnosis was an unfixable slash in my tire. Unfortunately a replacement was not available until the morning so they unloaded the back of my car and put on the donut spare.... complimentarily. What a genuine act of kindness. This business is truly an asset to the community both locally and afield. I strongly would recommend that you patronize this honest and gracious establishment.

I would recommend these guys over and over! Called to get info on a tire (got a flat and was on a donut) Crystal was super nice and helpful. Ned called me back quickly with my tire info and prices and when I got here Dean walked me under my car showing me everything!! I m not knowledgeable about cars or even tires, I felt completely comfortable with his explanations. Tires are a pretty big expense so it s reassuring to get info and be comfortable with what your buying. Also I came right down and got in! Thank you so much.

Unbeknownst to me on the day before a trip to NH my brother has me bring his wife's car in for a quick oil change and tire rotation. I should mention he had weeks to take care of it AND he knew the tires weren't great.They get the car on the lift and the tires are so bad I'm surprised the two fronts made it without exploding. So then begins a long back and forth with me relaying info to the shop manager on what should be done. I finally hand the manager the phone being fed up with being the middleman.They didn't have the exact tire in stock so it was decided to put a slight step down on the fronts because we were traveling the next day. The manager sensed the hesitant nature of my brother's voice and decided to send someone to the warehouse and grab two of the same tires.I usually unjustly think chain shops are all pretty bad, but this shop just put a lot of private shops that I've used to shame. The sign says voted best shop in Middletown and they deserve it.Also, the whole shop was extremely professional and friendly through this whole debacle.

Great Quick Service. Went in on a Saturday morning without an appointment. I expected to be there for a while being that Saturdays are usually the busiest days, due to most people not having work, but to my surprise, I was in and out in under an hour. The staff also alerted me two other issues that I had that they took care of. Thank you

Great staff and mechanics. They not only assess your vehicle thoroughly but assist in advising based on your current situation. For example what are major safety issues verse something you can get away with waiting a few months to save and fix later
