I made an appointment. Had a screw in my tire I was hoping to get plugged in addition to having a coupon for a free brake inspection. Took forever. I left convinced that because i used a free coupon and elected to wait to make the recommended repairs they just sat around wasting my time. Last time I chose to use Firestone unless it's out of desperation. I went to a local shop for my breaks after this and I actually, just yesterday, talked my neighbor out of going to Firestone for his brakes. The only reason I didn't give a lower score is because they were able to a.) plug my tire and b.) make recommendations on my breaks. The last time I came here I left feeling like I had bought tires I didn't actually need yet.

The service at this Firestone is amazing! The store is well-run by the manager, Chris. It exceeds all the expectations, including how clean it is - which is a plus while you wait! Chris and his team go above and beyond to be accommodating, keep you informed of the progress and they are upfront with pricing.I would highly recommend Firestone of Middletown to my friends & family!!

Really easy to make an appointment online and got everything done in store. Stuff is nice and easy to talk. The most important thing is that they really cares about your requested services. Make sure you did not choose the wrong one.

I waited an hour and a half for an oil change and air and cabin filter changes. Too long of a wait. Prices are high also. Cost me over $220 which IMO is too much. The employees were all very kind, friendly and professional. Waiting area was clean and had a tv show on to entertain me while I waited.

I would give none stars to this location. There manager thinks his over people own critical thinking scream On us for a service that was not necessary asked him to help us to rotate tires my tire is out lognut. Request the manager to adress my problem without argument but he just choose to scream and I asked him directly if will help us with this manner he just replied is not our problem, I replied him we will contact corporate he replied I don t care. As a customer I felt treated with Racism because my accent I wasn t born here but I have my citizen ship as every person have to be treated with respect and just manner of honor and if a person treat you this I just can t argue or talk as a person I felt mess treated please help me out with this manner !

Let me start off by saying I finally fixed the last issue that this place made on my car.When I had gone To get a plate adjusted on the bottom of my car, Which is the only thing that they did correctly they suggested to also change my serpentine belt. I agreed to the service. Immediately after getting the car back my check engine light was on and the belt was making noise. I contacted them and told them that they must have broken something in my car because my check engine light was not onAnd I also said that they did not adjust the serpentine belt correctly. They suggested that I probably didn't screw on my gas cap .. After paying almost double the labor that I was expecting already I was not about to go back to this place a second time. I brought it to my usual mechanic who looked at it with me and we immediately saw the part that was leaned on and broken. It costed me 500 dollars to fix. Also just as I said the serpentine belt was never correctly adjusted today I finally got that fixed as well costing me a $175. My mechanic confirmed that the belt was not properly adjusted. When I called Firestone and told them about these things They told me that I could get them fixed in a week and to expect to pay for the damage myself. 0 accountability taken.

The whole staff and especially Dave the mechanic are wonderful!!! They are very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Dave is the only person who works on our cars and would not bring them to anyone else!!!! I highly recommend Firestone Middletown to all!!!!

My friends gave me a bicycle from their backyard. I was trying to get it home but there wasn't enough air in the tires. I saw that this garage was open, Sunday afternoon and fairly busy. There was a guy outside of the bays, checking another customer's tires, he had the airline with him. When he was done I asked if I could get some air. He said sure, and warned me that the line wasn't meant for bicycle tires, maybe too strong. I accepted the risk and he filled them to the PSI I asked for. Very friendly. Thank You

I have now had a few great experiences with the Firestone store on Washington Street in Middletown, CT. The store manager (Chris Bernier) and the shop mechanics were polite, professional, and explained in detail what work I needed and the costs to complete. The guys at the Middletown Firestone location in combination with the area manager Gary took care of a few issues I had with my vehicle. The technician Dave made quick work of the axel seal and sway bar link ends. I recommend this location & crew

Brought my vehicle in for service here MULTIPLE times, of the three times, twice I felt as thought the site lied to me, stating that everything was fixed then having issues immediately after recieveing my vehicle.Most recently had engine questions, site informed me that the noises were completely normal. One week later, my transmission went.

I was stranded by the side of the road on a Saturday night on I-91 and had two Firestones open the next day as my only option. Thank goodness I chose this one. Since I chose it off reviews gotta pay it forward.I showed up a half hour before they opened. Chris was already there. He took a look at my car first thing. Got me an objectively good price on repairs and back on the road less than 2 hours after open. Great experience! Great place

Well I showed up at 10:00 today for my appointment well someone forgot to put me in so service manager put me in well I was in for a oil change tire rotation and new wipers on my Hyundai Tucson 10 minutes service manager came out says we have a problem someone mounted my tires backwards rotation was going wrong way so we went out in the bay the mechanic started laughing he said if I drove backwards tires would be ok we laughed so service manager said I should put new tires on because they were choppy so we looked at 3 tires one was a snow tire I asked him his advice he told me to get the lowest in price tire because I owned a plow truck if it gets that bad stay home or take the truck he could have pushed me into the expensive tire but he didn t he checked rest of car said brakes were new sad thing I just bought this vehicle one week ago did not catch the tire deal but it did sound louder than my plow truck I figured it was the name brand tireServices: Tires, Wheel alignment, Oil change

I made an appointment yesterday and dropped off my vehicle at 12. They promised me to change the tires and oil by 3 hours. I came to pick it up and they didn't even start the service. Such a poor kind of service. This is not the first time. They changed my ball bearing 4 months ago and my car stopped in the highway. I did the service for last 2 years. First they sold me 2 tires online when I made the appointment. When I showed up for the appointment, the price had gone up significantly and I asked why. The guy told me that they don't actually have the tires that they sold me online, so now I have to pay more for these other tires. But the guy was very, very nice and he reset the price back to the original because it's not my fault.He tells me it'll be probably 30 minutes. I wait for over an hour for the guy to come up to me again and tell me oh, we only have one tire in stock so we have to wait for the other one to come from Cromwell.... ANOTHER HOUR LATER I finally get my car back... Just getting 2 new tires took over 2� hours! Not as bad as the Glastonbury location that broke my TPMS sensor and refused to replace it... But still not good....

Could not be happier with the customer service here. Punctured a tired with a 4 inch piece of metal on a Saturday afternoon and had a 6 hour drive out of state the next day so I was desperate to get this taken care of. I called and talked to Mike who helped me out immediately, located the tire I needed at their New Britain facility, got the tired delivered within an hour, and had it on my car and done within like 30 minutes while I waited. Facility is very clean. There were 3 other customers there while I waited and so I was able to hear their interactions with Mike and other employees. All great interactions, friendly, not pushy, and very straightforward. I had a minor issue with my spare tire when I left and had to go back about 10 minutes later. Fixed immediately and sent me on my way. Without a doubt would recommend them and will be using again for all tire needs. THANK YOU MIKE AND STAFF !Service: Tires

Went here and had a set of tires put on. Got my car back and my tire was shaking in the front. I brought it back and they told me they would check the balance. I got it back again and still shaking. They told me that if I still had a problem then my tires were no good.I brought my car to a DIFFERENT tire shop. They balanced them with no issue. My car now runs smooth.

I ve had my mothers car serviced there multiple times very knowledgeable. Staff about tires and bulbs. Oil changes awesome people fix tires when I had to go to work. Got out of there in 10 minutes. Great place to get your car.

Brought the car in to get TPMS installed. A wheel came back damaged. Cant be curb-rash due to the chip being past the wheel rim... wrote a review telling them to contact me via email and got nothing. No discount either and was forced to spend the extra money to get a walkthrough of my car even though it was there the day before.

TLDR: they lied about bad parts and tried to upcharge me $1,100. Got confirmation from 4 different mechanics (in their shops) that Firestone lied about my parts needing replacement.Fulle story:I'm not a car person.I had my tired changed nearby and they found an issue while changing the tired and recommended a mechanic.I ran to Firestone who told me 'it will be $1,100 absolute worst case but don't expect that'. After the assessment they fixed the part and told me that my car was good to drive for a few hundred miles and then I would need everything replaced and would be charged $1,100.I found that odd and said just fix it. While waiting I called 4 different shops and said "Assuming a full replacement of XYZ, how much? Assume the worst case." Every single shop said between $200-$500 saying the parts would be $100 + labor. When I told them what Firestone said they laughed and explained that you don't need new parts, just some things tightened.I demanded my keys back from Firestone and took it to a shop down the road. The shop down the road put it on the lift and confirmed there was nothing wrong and literally said "I run a business, but I have nothing to sell you here, your parts are fine."Don't bother getting a second opinion, just don't go.

Great location with excellent customer service. Jason was very helpful and personable. He and his team got my car in and out in under an hour at what I deem to be a fair price. I left my card at home and he called the Cromwell store to get the info. Also got a couple discounts. Very happy with the experience and highly recommend this location.

What a great place in which to do business! Chris spent, idk, 15 at least on the phone with me trying to make a tire choice, then ordered the tires. He even knocked a little off the price. Mike was also very personable and helpful. The waiting room is clean and a fairly pleasant place to wait for service. What a marked contrast going to Firestone was compared to my experience at Towne Fair Tire in Norwich. I unreservedly recommend Firestone in Middletown.

These guys are the only people I let touch my car. The staff is hardworking, honest and quick.
