Went to this location to get my front brakes checked because I thought the pads were low and in need of replacement, however I was pleasantly surprised when the Manager Meggan told me that they were actually in like new condition and no need to replace. I appreciated their honesty and for that I give 5 stars!

Unfortunately I ve had a very negative experience with this location. In May of 2023 we spent over $1000 getting our brakes and rotors done on our SUV. They told us we had a lifetime warranty on the pads and a 1yr warranty on the rotors. Well, in February of 2024 our rotors were vibrating something serious and I called Them to address this issue. The girl who answered the phone immediately started saying it wasn t covered and trying to find a reason to make us pay more money. First they said it wasn t covered as it was outside the time of warranty but I had Receipts, then they said it was over the mileage allowed in warranty. (9 months of driving, we did 11k miles which is completely normal) I elevated It all the way to management and even they were refusing to stand by their warrantied work and were trying to charge me the labor and parts to replace the brakes and rotors they just did 11k miles ago. Took it to another shop and it was in fact warped cheap rotors. Had to pay another $700 to replace 9 month old brakes and rotors. Terrible experience and I don t usually review places but I felt It was necessary to let everyone know that they need to be cautious when spending lots of money here.

TL; DR: The check-in staff are nice but I have serious reservations about the thoroughness of their work, honesty, communication skills, and follow through.I went to pick up my vehicle after I was informed that the work on my radiator/water pump was repaired and the battery was dead. It's strange that they didn't mention that, didn't offer to replace my battery. They moved the car a few times around the lot, so they must've known it wouldn't hold a charge anymore. It seems like that would have been an easy sale since they already had my vehicle in shop.I then decide to check my vehicle back in after the dead battery issue, and I asked for a full diagnostic. I was contacted about 45 minutes later with a list of some line items I had mentioned in conversatuon. As if they simply took the things I was potentially concerned with, and just drafted up a work order based on that without doing a proper work up.I told them there was no rush, I just wanted to have it thoroughly looked at. So if they were particularly busy, it wasn't a big deal if they needed more time. I understand that.But 45 minutes after I leave I get a message through their work order processing webapp and it simply lists off the items I mentioned I would like them to look at. It seems suspiciously like they didn't do a diagnostic and just reiterated my list back to me. But, I can't say with 100% certainty, this is just an inkling.I asked how they were able to do diagnostics on the entire car so quickly and how they were able to come up with their suggestions, but I got a lot of doublespeak and non-answers. I figured it wasn't worth continuing to engage with them here at this location.The staff up front seem nice that's all I really have to say that's decent. I'd recommend going elsewhere.

I was looking for a place to get my breaks done and I decided to call. I spoke with the manager who stated I can come in for a break check. He explained everything to me and was very accommodating and helpful. He was very pleasant to speak with and answered all questions that I had as well as gave me more information on other services that would be provided by the company as well. I will be a regular customer with this company. I truly appreciate great customer service.

I d like to thank Meineke for one the most expensive and least effective car repairs I ve experienced in the last 10 years.The TD;LR I ve spent over $600, been there 3 separate dates. And the problem still isn t fixed.Imagine your car doesn t pass inspection and you schedule a time to have the problem diagnosed at Meineke. Your appointment is 1pm on a Friday. You re told by the front desk person the diagnostic charge will be $160 But that some of that cost will be taken off your ultimate bill should you choose to procede with the full repair. You go home to get work done, and by 4:45 have heard nothing about your car. You call Menieke and are told we haven t even looked at your car and we ll look at it first thing in the morning . You have a lot to do in the AM the next day that involves you needing your car and wonder why you even made an appointment.You go the next day and your car still hasn t been looked at. They tell you they re going to assess it right now, and it will only take an hour. This happens. They accidentally leave the lights on, when you get your keys back the battery is dead and you need a jumpstart. Mieneke charges you close $200 for this and tell you it s an oxygen censor and an easy repair. Once again it should only take an hour . You schedule a follow up repair appointment and are bummed the assessment cost is higher than they quoted you. You re also bummed your car now won t start. You re only a little late for the morning commitments you ve made.The next week you take the car back, at the scheduled time. You are now told the estimated cost for the repair (around$300), told they will NOT be discounting that total from what you've already paid, and also this repair will take the rest of the day because they don t have the correct part on stock and they are down a technician. You re empathetic to the staffing issue, but annoyed they don t have a basic part for a repair appointment made 7 days in advance. You realize you can t stay all day because you only allotted 90mins of your day for this. You leave, and make an appointment for the following week. This has once again been a waste of your time.Aware they are on thin ice, they keep the next appointment and get you in right away. In addition to the oxygen sensor they now tell you the knock sensor is also disconnected and should be repaired . You are also told once both these repairs are made check engine light will go off and you should be find to do another emissions test, which I may have forgot to mention is needed to reregister my car.With the additional repair the total comes close to $400 dollars. You pay, drive away and realize you ve spent $600 for two simple repairs but your check engine light is off, so whatever.The next day you check engine light comes back on. You are back to square one.Thanks Meineke

My car s oil change only took about 40 minutes. They also checked the other fluids in my car and filters. The receptionist was very friendly. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Very happy with the service brakes and battery done way better than I expected. I will no longer need to take my car elsewhere because of their service I will know where to go when car needs repairs. Thanks guys!

Y all these guys arnt even worth it, I took my bestfriends car there to get worked on and me and her were not fond of the price they gave us to the job and they to us on the phone after the car was looked at and gave us price of $3,000 and they also said that the car wasn t worth fixing, couple days later we picked up the car and took our business else where and got the best price of spending alittle less and got the car back in 2 and half hours! The car runs great!

Can I just say how appreciative I am of companies who actually care and express kindness and gratitude toward their clients? Who treat them like actual humans and not a number. Meineke in Meriden not only excels at customer service, but they took SUCH good care of my Mini. Super tough to find a place that can work on German cars CORRECTLY. Jay and Meriden Meineke take the cake on this one - my car is running like an absolute dream again and I cannot thank him and his team enough! Trust me when I say, I will trust NO ONE but Meriden Meineke with my car. These guys are awesome!!!

I would have given them five stars but for the STENCH OF CIGARETTES left in my car. Apparently, some of the folks smoke in the service bay. Good thing I m not terribly allergic; only somewhat. I guess I don t have to breathe through my nose for the next several hours.

Went to the Meriden shop to have 2 tires renewed. Price and estimate were spot on. Technician did a fast, but quality job. Gentleman running the register was professional and courteous. Will definitely return

They are excellent, especially Dave, the technician who did a great professional job to find the cause, and solved the oil leaking problem quickly. The price was reasonable and they even allowed our motorhome to stay in the parking lot overnight for free! Thank you everyone at the shop for saving us to prevent from a potential disaster! Strongly recommend this service center to everyone!

They are terrible I would never recommend anyone to ever go there they messed up my car they supposedly said all they did was open up the hood and look at it and then apparently they said they couldn't do what they said they could do was change my timing belt and then magically my car key to turn on my car and unlock my doors magically was broken and bent which was very difficult to even turn on my car and my brakes magically have any breaks left in them when before I dropped my car off my key worked perfectly fine and my brakes were perfectly fine terrible service and terrible people

Wow! We called Derek from the road about half way through an 9 hour trip. Explained we needed a new muffler. Professional, customer oriented and knowledgeable on Subarus, he took care of our muffler in just under an hour. Did not know this kind of auto service was still out there. Thanks Derek we would recommend you and your employee all day everyday. Greatly appreciated. Thanks for including the military veteran s discount. After 20 years of service veterans appreciate a sincere thank you such as yours.

Had transmission service done and differential fluid changed. Jay was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Jay was able to look at the car quickly and was able to fix it just as fast. I will be back if I need anything done in the future great service and price.

Had brakes done in June at another Meineke location. Slightly over a month later, heard a VERY loud rubbing sound coming from my left rear tire. Found out the bolt keeping the brake caliper in place was missing. Called Meineke in Meriden because I was in the area, told them about it, and the guy who answered told me to bring it right down if I could. When I got there, guy at the main desk brought my car in ASAP. Literally pulled a car out that was in the bay to get mine in. Honored the warranty without hesitation and got me out quickly. Five stars for this location and especially for the guy working on 7/21/2023 at the main desk. I was with my 2yo kid and I think he understood the situation and this job needed to be taken care of immediately.Service: Brakes

I pulled up on a Saturday morning without an appointment. They were able to take my car right in and starting working on it within 10 minutes. Job was completed and both tailpipes reattached in 15 minutes. Great Job!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust
