Got a flat and being a Uber driver I desperately needed to get back on the road. They took me right away. Tire couldn t be fixed hole was on the sidewall. They had tires in stock and got me back on the road in 1 hour with a fair price. Will go back when I need new tires.

I was going to GT Tire for years. Just recently my car was diagnosed with a cracked radiator and fluid leaks. Got a second opinion and did not have those repairs, only a leak in my motor mount, which cost $300. Not the $1,068 GT Tore quoted me for. At oil changes they never topped off my fluids and they were empty. GT Tire just lost my being a customer. Shame. I trusted them and am hurt.

Every time I come here they are unorganized and unprofessional. They over price you on services and when you go to other auto shops in Meriden they are way cheaper. Another auto shop was able to do the job for $200 cheaper, I told them this and they called the other shop Safe Auto and told them not to fix my car. I know this because the mechanic told me they called him and he showed me their phone call wow! I do not recommend doing business with them, they are untrustworthy. The old lady owner and the son mechanic constantly lies when I showed proof they lied, they make up something else. Why would I want someone to work on my car when they can t admit when they make a mistake. I can see from previous reviews this is a continuous thing in their business.

I went in for a routine tune up and left with my vehicle giving me Problems. When I tried to go past 3RPM's my car wouldn't let me. I took it to another place and they told me i should bring the car back because they put it in safe mode. When I brought the vehicle back they told me that it wasn't anything that they did ... It was my transmission mind you my car was running awesome before I brought it in... And they told me if I can prove it was something they did to the car then they would give me my almost 300 bucks back...needless to say every place I took the car was charging to much just to diognose it so I had to spend more money an get a new car cause the old one was un safe to drive....Side note while we were there a woman called and said that the brand new tires that she just brought from them and they place them on had fallen off her car.....please they are crooks and will leave your car tore up... I had a 2013 kia soul and never had any problems with my car until I took it to these crooks

I recommend GT Tire to anyone looking for quality work for a fair price. The manager Ari was so helpful in ordering my tires and explaining what needed to be done on my vehicle to make is safe, he sent videos and photos to show me exactly what was going to happen and how. Great customer service!

I rated with 1 because one of the workers was comprehensive, but the owner is not nice and like to raise the voice when you make questions that any customer have the right to ask about the work if going to be done.They take deposits and give you receipts, that said that is only refundable with invoice, but when you go with the invoice and receipt; they say that they can't because it was a deposit for a part of the car and it's a special order. The invoice don't said that it was a deposit for a part of the car and either said that is a special order and special orders aren't refundable. They are disorganized and not clear on the warranty or the rights. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Be aware

I love it here. I've brought 3 of my cars here, got numerous things done here. Staff is great. Extremely friendly. Can easily strike up a conversation with anyone here. Prices are cheap. These people are awesome. 10/10

Pretty sure the service is good but when your charging 35 per tire from a simple summer to winter tire swap your service must be impecabble. They are literally stealing your hard earned money at this point. Went to another tire shop. 20 bucks to swap all 4.

I have used GT tire for years! They are always friendly and helpful. Never have I been taken advantage of when getting things fixed. They make recommendations but never push you to have them done now. Instead they tell you what can and can't wait. I would recommend them any time

Great people. I have been a customer for 8 years. Always goes over any estimates with you before any work is done. All work is guaranteed. I ve recommended them to a few people and they have now become repeat customers of GT Tire.

I blew out 2 tires at 330 in the afternoon. GT took my car in ordered the tires and by 2 pm the next day I had 4 new tires and front and back wheel alignment. The service was great. Highly recommend.

My dad and I have been going to GT Tires for many years now and they're the best! Gene, Cheryl, and Ari are wonderful people and they do a great job of making sure people's vechiles run well! Their prices are affordable too!

Had some work done on my 2014 Kia this past August. When I brought my car in, I thought it had different issues because of a noise in the front end. After they looked at my car a nice gentleman called me back and told me what I actually needed and how much it would cost. It's been a month and some change now and my car is still running new. They could of charged me for everything under the sun. They are honest people, its hard to find that especially when your a woman walking in.

Great service. My car died this AM. Gene sent a employee right to my house to give me a jump start. Been doing business with GT tire for a few years now an will continue to do so. I highly recommend this place for any car repairs. Thanks Gene.

First time going to GT for new tires. Great service and awesome staff. Gave me a better deal on new Michelins than Town Fair Tire. It took some time for them to start working on my car, but once it was in it was done in no time.

These guys are family run, extremely friendly and helpful. They have been in business since the 1970s and have been providing a high level of service to the meriden area for over 50 years.They also offer SNAP Financing if you can't afford the cost of the entire job all at once. SNAP offers 100 days to pay off the loan free of interest!I love these guys and I'll definitely be back! It was worth it traveling from new haven.

My car wasn't functioning right and was loosing power when going up any hills. I brought it over a car repair shop in Meriden and they told me to bring it back in a week because they were behind schedule repairing other cars. That was not acceptable for me or my situation. So I brought it over to GT and they immediately took my car in and within minutes they told me what was wrong with my car. They were able to repair my car and have it available to me by the end of the day. GT offer me a ride home and a ride to pick me up too. I appreciate the friendly service they provided me and being so promptly with the repair. I'm making GT my 1st Auto Mechanic Repair Shop. Thanks Gene and Ori.

They are professionals! I went to a Mickey Mouse mechanic for over a year and yeap..... it's true you get what you pay for. So I will bring my car for all its mechanical needs to GT.... Gene is a great person he will never steer you wrong!

I dropped my car off after being quote $800 at Firestone for the new Rotors and breaks. Gt did the job for half the price and the car drove as good as new. They were prompt and accurate. Loved dealing with them.
