I ve always had good experiences with Steve and Scott at Expert Auto. It s nice to have a mechanic you can trust when there are so many shady players out there. They re honest and will explain everything you need to know and answer any questions you have. It s convenient that they re close to home but I would travel to bring my car here just for the peace of mind knowing that my vehicle is in good hands.

Scott was friendly and professional and explained the pricing and repair in detail. They were able to repair my car quickly (1 day for diagnosis, 1 day for repair) after a holiday weekend. Though the repair was costly (catalytic convertor) the labor cost was reasonable. My car has been running well since. I would use this mechanic again.

Great service!!! They went above and beyond to make the repair to my vehicle. They got me in next day, and finished my truck a day earlier than expected- all because they made the effort to find the necessary part and picked it up instead of waiting for a delivery. I ve been looking for a shop close to home that provides quality service and is honest since my last mechanic retired, and I ve found one here.

Needed 4 new tires for my vehicle, and Steve gave me a very competitive quote. They did an excellent job with installation and balancing the tires. Would definitely recommend checking them out verses the large chain competition.

Steve and his crew always provide the best service!My breaks gave out and I was going to take it to another shop near me KNOWING that Steve was the only shop who serviced my vehicle. Until my husband told me, don t let anyone touch your car tow the car to Steve's shop. I towed it in the evening and the following day all my breaks, rotors and calipers were serviced.Thank you so much Steve for always keeping my family and myself safe.

Steve and his crew were phenomenal. From the moment I mentioned in passing that I needed tires, to receiving the quote, to driving off with four brand new tires, took all of four days. Not only was it simple and quick, they were also professional during the entire process. I knew I was in good hands and can't thank them enough for making a process, that is normally a headache, so easy!Sarah in the office also made sure I was provided all of the solutions for emergency tire aftercare resources before I left, which confirmed that I had made then right choice on where to go. They care about the quality and longevity of their work and taking care of their customers.

I cannot recommend this place enough!! There are so many dishonest mechanics out there - BUT THIS ISNT ONE OF THEM! They are so professional, honest and their work is excellent. They always communicate things to me in an easy and honest way - I m always able to get a quick appointment and the work is done in great time! I highly recommend. I won t use another mechanic.

Steve and Expert Auto are rock stars! We had our car towed to them on a Sunday after an accident. We are from out of state and had NO IDEA what to do. Left them the car, a note and the keys. By the time we got there the next day, Steve had looked it over, taken it for a test drive and was able to tell us it was ok to drive back to NJ. To top it off - he wouldn't take any money! What?? This guy lives by old school rules, and we are grateful to him for his professionalism and kindness.If you live locally, I don't know why you would take your care any place else!!!

I love this shop! Been going here for over 25 years.I had previously taken my SUV to 2 other places complaining about a clicking noise going on with my front brakes. They all passed the buck with NO results and took my bucks. I take my car to Expert Auto and in 1 shot problem is solved.Thank you Steve, you re the best.SHMeriden, CT

Thanks so much Steve and team for getting me back on the road so quickly. I thought I was going to have a costly exhaust system issue on my hands but appreciated the honesty and fair priced permanant fix for my 2013 Infiniti M37xS. Sounds and feels like new. I will certainly be back for any future needs and will recommend you to all my friends.

Check engine light was on and went to auto zone to fix the code. Great service and pricing was pretty fair. They even let me know about 2 other codes that popped up as well which I greatly appreciate it. Will come back again!!

I've used Expert Auto Service twice in the last few months. Both times were for urgent services. First for a leaking brake line and second for a catalytic converter replacement. Both times the staff was understanding and was able to get me in as soon as possible. After each service, Steve sent me follow up text messages asking how the cars were running and if there was anything else I needed. I've never had a mechanic shop do that! It is really appreciated. I recommend them to anyone in the East Meriden area.Service: Exhaust

First time going here and it was great had to fill out a simple form with general info and left me key and took off a few hours later I got a text on how much it would cost and if I wanted to move forward with repairs I thought that was great few hours later it was done I'd say they did a great job and the car drove great after the repairs quick and affordable Service: Brakes

I was in CT an hour and a half from my house in RI when my car started actingup. I went to Expert Auto because they had great reviews. They were so kind and went above and beyond. Very honest, good people. If I lived even 45 minutes from this place, I would definitely bring my car here. I can't say enough, this place is great!!!!

On the way to work, my vehicle lost all power. I had my vehicle towed to Expert Auto and I m very glad that was the garage I picked. Steve us very honest, professional, and a great mechanic! He replaced my alternator and battery and put four new tires on my car and cleaned the corrosion on my chrome rims, saving me a trip to the tire dealer that was scheduled later that week and saving me money. I highly recommend Expert Auto. I will be back there when my vehicle needs service again.Services: Tires, Electrical, Wheel alignment, Battery

I got a fair price for what needed to be done and for the short time I was in there you can tell Steve really cares about his shop & customers.
