Been going here for 20 years! Danny runs a tight ship and takes a lot of pride in his business. Tyler is a heck of a nice guy who will make sure you get done what needs doing. If there's something he can't get that day, he can tell you where is the best place to do so (tires and things along those lines are most common). The prices are good especially considering most small businesses would absolutely charge more. The service is always top notch and very prompt. If you have any car issues, I recommend giving them a call!

The service and hospitality of the managers and staff at Northeast Auto & Truck are beyond fantastic! This past week I was involved in an auto incident and stopped by Northeast to determine if my car was drivable. I have never been a customer, but the staff (manager?) willingly came outside to look at my vehicle. He determined that I could not drive it anywhere and gave me advice as to next steps. I spent the next three hours in their waiting room with my grandson while waiting for a tow truck and putting in a claim to my insurance company. They were beyond welcoming, making sure that we were comfortable and also gave my grandson crayons and paper to color with. They were just so incredibly helpful in a stressful situation. I would definitely use their services as I can imagine their entire business is based on excellent customer service. Oh, and we LOVE their mascot dog Griffin!

As a newcomer to town, I asked neighbors and the local Facebook group where they go for car maintenance. The most common answer was Northeast Auto, along with adjectives like "trust" and "fair pricing". So I had a timing belt and engine gaskets replacement done there - and I agree with my neighbors. Work like that isn't cheap, but their pricing was reasonable (and a little bit cheaper than I had expected after first looking up quotes online).Here's the reason I really wanted to write this review: while my car was in the shop I had a child go the ER via ambulance, and when I called to ask about my car they picked me up and got me to the hospital right away. That is going way above and beyond being a car repair shop. Things like that are the difference between a "bottom-line-first corporation" and a locally owned first-name-basis business that cares for you, that you trust. If they tell me my brake pads are worn down and should get replaced, you'll be darn sure I won't have to wonder if I'm getting upsold - I'll get the new pads. Love this shop, been going here almost 15 years now and never had a bad experience. Been to other dealerships when our vehicles were still new and under warranty, and the bad experiences there really proved what a great place this is. Great family run business with attention to detail, noticed our turn signal light was out at a recent oil change and changed it without us mentioning. A good buddy of mine brought his car here to fix a broke window, but the beyond rude and unknowledgeable staff were not only not able to fix it, they made it worse. Admittedly mistakes happen, but when no accountability it taken and costumers are treated so poorly there is no excuse. My brother's family and I have used Northeast Auto and Truck for our car and truck repairs for years. They are the most honest snd reliable place I have ever encountered. These atributes should not be taken lightly as we all have been fleeced by repair places at one time or another. They never recommend or do repairs that are not necessary, their pricing is VERY competitive and the service and repairs are top notch. I recommend them highly. Even if you have go out of your way to use them, it is well worth it to by treated with respect and honesty.

If you've ever been ripped off by a bad mechanic, or a shop that took advantage of you, you know how awful that can be and the expense it was!! If you never want to experience that again, then you MUST make Northeast Auto and Truck your new repair shop! These people are honest, fair and always stand by their work. My daughter took her car to a mechanic shop in Manchester and they told her she needed almost $1,000 worth of work! I told her to bring it to Northeast Auto because I knew they would tell me the truth about what her car needed. THE CAR WAS ABSOLUTELY FINE - It did not need ANY of the work they told her! Please - save yourself money and heartache. Make Northeast Auto your new repair shop. It'll be one of the best things you do for yourself! It is located right off of Rt. 2 in Marlborough, CT.

Fast, friendly, courteous and above all true to their word. Lots of companies say they care for their customers.
