Visiting home from Washington, D.C. and learned my AC was broken on the way up. Tyrol was able to check my car out, give advice, and help with repairs all the same day since I need to drive out tomorrow. Highly recommend!

Excellent service and communication during the entire process! I have been here for multiple jobs and every time I m taken care of quickly and efficiently! It s great knowing that a shop won t recommend work unless your car actually needs it. They can explain what work is important now, and what might be needed later on, which I appreciate knowing about.

These guys are awesome, I had a suspension noise and it was just something that needed tightening. I appreciated their honesty so much, I had the oil changed while my CRV was there out of gratitude. Tom runs the most straightforward and trustworthy repair shop I've ever been to. His shop has plenty of space outside making dropping cars off convenient, and the safety check is always thorough.I've never been pressured to get work done and usually get helpful advice related to more obscure aspects of car maintenance, making each visit very positive and productive.The communication is also great, you will receive multiple texts updating you throughout the repair.The place, most importantly, is fairly priced, and I've personally had work done that cost $300-$400 less than what I expected the bill to be.Great value, great communication, very friendly and accommodating.

Tom Tyrol and his team are very friendly, efficient, reasonable! I trust them all implicitly and love the opportunity to refer new customers to them. As soon as I arrived at work my car started acting up, and as I work until night time I felt unsafe to drive it home. I called Tyrol Automotive bc they had over 70 5 reviews on Google. I'm so grateful I did! They told me to drop my car off as soon as I could and they were kind enough to give me a ride back to my job. Tom stayed in touch by text, was clear about what was wrong with my car, and they were so generous, honest, and reasonable that I would recommend them to anyone. I don't live in the area but would go out of my way to have them service my car in the future. Thank you so much!

Due to the pandemic, I wanted to make sure I was supporting local businesses. So when my car started to have some issues, I tried out Tyrol Automotive and am thrilled I did! Everyone is so friendly and professional. They are always able to get me right in, and the work is done in an timely fashion. The mechanics at Tyrol were even able to fix a problem (on the first try) that my car's dealership was never able to fix (even after going multiple times)! Even the prices are amazing! Great garage! They did an inspection on a truck I was considering purchasing. The owner welcomed me and offered me a coffee or water. They were fast and knowledgeable. Very nice service. My daughter went first to have her car serviced and she sent me. He was very friendly and patient with explaining the service needed. I felt he was knowledgeable and honest (something rare these days).

Took my car here today and they replaced my starter in record time, they also gave me estimates for other things that they said I will need to do in the near future. Without being pushy. Oliver and Tom are awesome, great, honest mechanics.

I'm completely appalled with how Tony does business. My fiance recently asked to have a quote done for some work that needed to be done. Mind you the list was already made and the mechanic who looked at the car originally gave us a list. Tony keep my finances car for 4 days just for a quote mind you it would have been 5 or more considering she had to text him because he didn't even reach out to her at all. I suspected something was strange with him having the car for so long. However I didn't have proof until he made a list of other thing that did not need to be done because they were done the week before. He was never asked to inspect the car besides for the quoted job he took the brakes apart and was never asked to touch the brakes mind you they were done the week before. Afterwards they are making all types of noise oddly they were not making before.he quoted her for 1400 dollars worth of work the majority of which did NOT need to be done. He ignored her initial request for a quote and took it upon himself to search for things to fix. I mean when your oil was just changed and a mechanic says it needs to be done huge red flag. I do not recommend using this mechanic because Clearly previous ratings are inaccurate. Trying to scam a woman not cool. Have some decency. Oh and BTW another mechanic put the car on his lift fixed everything for 700 and explained the previous quote was inaccurate and none of the added items needed to be changed. Tom, Oliver, and crew are honest, fair, and experienced mechanics. They aim to get the job done in a timely manner and to the customers satisfaction. I have nothing but good things to say about this family shop. Whenever I have an issue with my vehicle these guys are my go to.

My 2009 Mustang was flooding on the passenger side floor due to a clogged drain plug. New to the area and searched google. They had excellent reviews. So I decided to give them a call. Explained the problem (not to mention this is the 4th of July weekend and called for rain the whole weekend). They immediately got me in and took care of the problem! So grateful! Tom and Oliver are the best. They are always looking out for their customers and go above and beyond. They always explain the problem and the options available. I refer friends and family to them often and wouldn't trust my vehicles with anyone else.

The only place I will bring my car. Seriously. They are the friendliest and most trustworthy mechanics in the world. They do the best work and have fixed every car I've owned. When I lived in Canada I would drive 6 hours to the Tyrols when it needed something fixed. That's how good these guys are.

Can't stress how awesome Tom and the Tyrol Auto team are! They fixed my car extremely fast and at fair prices, and Tom kept me updated every step of the way. Even helped me with my emissions (which I didn't realize I needed just yet) Thanks a million guys!

I can't say enough about Tom and his team. The service is top notch and the prices are reasonable. They also put in extra touches that I don't ask for which is truly appriciated. Excellent costumer service! Tom is very friendly and very helpful. He even reminded me of my overdue emissions test I went right away and he even was thoughtful enough to check in with me next day to make sure I got it done which is awsome becasue that shows he cares about his costumers....I recently went back for my second service for a oil change I could have gone to 10 min. economy oil change like I usually do but I decided not to becasue when you get excellent service why go else where? I will be continuing to go here for car services I even referred my family here. I trust their judgment and services. Amicable staff and service!

I brought my vehicle here to fix my AC. They replaced the compressor and immediately the AC continued not to work.Instead of fixing the AC they told me to keep bringing my car in three separate times for an hour each to look at it. When it continued not to work they suggested it may be because I had the air set on "mix" (blowing on both my head and legs) and "Try bringing it in on a hot day", which anyone with common sense will recognize as BS.After the third time I insisted I won't come again until they fix the problem, in which they offered to charge me an additional $300 to "fix" the AC again, and claim I myself insisted on using a compressor that probably wouldn't work. Only upon threatening legal action did they refund my money.This was a very unfortunate experience because they previously replaced my O2 sensor and that was a positive experience. However if they don't fix the problem they will give you the runaround, waste your time, and consequently treat you disrespectfully.

Do yourselves a favor and take all your business and your friends here. You won't be sorry. Can't say enough about these guys! So friendly (felt so relaxed and comfy- like home/friends from moment one), very knowledgeable n took the time to show and explain issues, MORE than fair. A rare find. They really went out of their way for me (a complete stranger) far above n beyond! Thanks so much Oliver n Dave, oh and Leah too. All of you are just fantastic people. Wish I could take you all with me. Thanks so VERY much!

This place is wonderful. The people are down to earth. Tom is a very nice guy and he gave my car a free inspection. Previously I took my Toyota 2004 LE to Charles Toyota @ Norwich and they handed me over a $1100 estimate for changing different things on the car and here at Tyrol I have found that most of the things they said to replace or change was unnecessary. Tom replaced my front brake pads,rotors, flushed transmission fluid, changed spark plugs free of cost. It cost me $421 + tax. This might be the same value I would get from other places but I am very satisfied with their service and they offer free coffee :). I would definitely recommend my friend to their place.

My family has used Tyrol Automotive for a few years and we have yet to be disappointed. It was hard to find a local mechanic that I could put my full trust in, until this one was recommended that is. I won't go anywhere else now.If something needs to get done they will tell me, but more importantly if it doesn't they won't. Don't go anywhere else for your car care!

These guys are the best. Always responsive to the needs of your vehicle. They dont cut any corners or try to scam you. What you need is addressed and fixed in a timely manner and the price is always fair. Appreciate these gentlemen!!
