Jay and Ruben were professional and polite when servicing my car. They were informative and personable, helping me understand what was being done and why.I had a panel come loose under my car, and they quickly pinpointed and resolved the issue. Ruben was very knowledgeable and speedy. He had the car ready for me in only a few minutes.I am definitely recommending this to local friends and coming back for future help with car repairs. Couldn't be happier!

As a women, I have had some very bad experiences with auto mechanics trying to take advantage. Not at Jay's. I brought my car in for a repair and he told me not to waste my money. My car was safe without it. I will never go anywhere else again. A trustworthy mechanic is priceless.

I got my cars emissions test done here and it was pretty quick. $20 cash just make sure your check engine light is not on so you can pass.his shop looks busy that's cos he does a great job. I saw some classic cars over there.

February 21st I came in to get my admissions test I left and tried to register my car. It kept telling me that I couldn't register it behind Failure to do the admissions test. I had to make an appointment at willimantic dmv drive 40 minutes away from my house just to be told that the person that did my admissions test put the wrong VIN number in! That's the reason I had to lose a day at work drive 45 minutes away and then when I call them to let them know they're mistake their answer is bring the car back take it up with Chino!!!! NEVER AGAIN

Jay, Rueben and the rest of the guys are the best. They beat prices on all the service jobs I give them and they are honest guys! I just brought my pathfinder in because I broke my windshield wiper arm in the ice storm. Rueben looked at it and fixed it in 5 minutes. I asked him what do I owe you, he says, BYEEE! These guys are good mechanics, I will use them for as long as I live in Manchester.

Brought my truck here for some front end issues and my radiator was leaking. Jays was quick to diagnose properly, provide a reasonable quote for repairs, and then get the job done in a timely manner. Great place! All the guys there are very nice and extremely helpful! I went in without an appt for my emissions test, and they got me in and out within 20min! I'll definitely be going there again!

Jay is hands down amazing. He doesn't sugar coat, is to the point and doesn't charge you a crazy amount, but uses the best parts. He has my business for life as this was a brand new find for my family. I trust him with my cars and keeping me and my kids safe. This is a man and business that deserves your hard earned money. He made me feel like if I needed him he would be there. In my line of business that is more important than most know or understand. That's a friend you want. Awful experience. I needed an engine replaced and it took them 3 weeks to even start the car repair. Then, after they swapped engines, it ran for 100 miles and then the new engine blew up just like the old engine. Jay couldn't be bothered. I left the car there and all they did was listen to it instead of putting it in a bay and checking it out. He blamed rhe fact that I ordered the engine myself instead of him ordering it even though it was through the same supplier that he used. All Jay told me was that it would be another $1500 for yet another engine to be put in. Other than that he washed his hands clean of the whole situation. Very unprofessional and very callous.

My car just wouldn t start after my doctors appointment and I went to Jay s because it was literally next door. The main person sitting at the front advised me to call AAA so I can have that done for free. I had road side assistance in no time and they suggested I get my battery and alternator checked!. So I called Jay s and he immediately asked me to drive down so he can have a look at my car. He was very kind, explained everything and dint even take any money. Turns out I just needed to replace my battery. Truly grateful for such amazing humans who do their work so passionately and help others. I hope my car never gives trouble again, but if it does, Jay s it is! I wish I knew that gentleman s name. Thank you, sir!

This is one of the most professional and considerate parts of my entire car disaster. I had a weekend from hell but just i did not need to worry about was the tow truck driver doing right on the project. He was given a weird address by the insurance company and still made sure to check in with me and get the car where it was supposed to be. A+ this company is awesome for towingService: Car towing

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICEMy car sat in the lot for a month, I called once a week for updates, upon further inquiry whoever answered the phone told me multiple different stories about how they were about to get to it, they needed a new key made, only 1 mechanic was on staff, etc. After a month I called and asked if they could tow my car to a different shop. They told me to call back in 10 minutes, and then an hour, and then call back tomorrow. I needed to hire a 3rd party to tow my car to a shop to have it serviced. I have never been to a garage so committed to not working on cars. After a month sitting outside their garage one would assume to at least have some updates on the cars status, or at least simple diagnostic work to be done.

Had to use their services 2x in the past week. I got emissions testing done and was in and out within 15-20 minutes. Then a couple days later, locked my keys in the car and luckily they are a Triple A associated business, had their roadside assistance come down and pop my car open. Guy was polite and quick. They are efficient. Would do business with them again!

I called like 6 places when my tire went flat on the Thursday of a holiday weekend, Jay's was the only place that when I called back on Monday gave me the same information, customer service. Jay was also honest about why I was now having a hard time getting one of the other places to put on the tire I had. (I ordered a different tire just to get one quickly) not being in a position to go get the right tire, Jay gave me the name of couple places he's used, I called explained my situation they ordered & delivered the right tire the next morning to Jay's, this is how I ended up getting the right tire in 24 hours, mounted and ready!Now I get the call my BMW will be ready in the afternoon, Chino is speaking with me, I explained to him I have a toddler, I'm unsure if I'll be able to find a ride that day, (I'm on day 4 with no transportation) without hesitation he said "if we are able to drive your vehicle to you so you and your little one have your car back today we will definitely try." No promises but just the acknowledgement of my situation and offering a solution if possible was very kind.While they weren't able to have 2 drivers leave to deliver my car, I found a ride. Side note, AAA sent them to tow my SUV to their shop but failed to mention them as one of their accredited shops.... For me, as with most people dealing with vehicle issues a few hiccups here/there, however, nothing that wasn't solvable, nothing that came from Jay's end.My new car shop!

Saw a Jay's auto roadside assistance car coming up the on ramp of the highway. Driver looked very determined to help out a fellow stranded car, in the rain no less. With this limited knowledge I rate this company 5 out of 5 stars. I have a feeling everyone was happy with the transaction. Keep up the good work Jay!

This company towed my truck right before a recent snow storm, and I did not have to wait long at all. They did an excellent job finding out what was wrong and fixing it in a timely manner so that I could get back to work. It is hard to find mechanics you can trust out their, and these guys did an honest, thorough and solid job. I highly recommend Jays Auto, and will definitely do business with them again in the future.

DO NOT USE JAY'S AUTO!This was by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced from a mechanic shop. I've used Jays several times in the past, having always dealt with the owner Jay and had no issues. This time I was helped by Justin, the "manager".I was going on vacation for 2.5 weeks and asked Justin if they could get the vehicle fixed while I was on vacation as I needed to use it as soon as I returned. Justin informed me then that they could handle my needs no problem, and would pick up the vehicle in 30 min. 4 days and 10 phone calls later, Justin finally got around to retrieving the vehicle from my residence.I asked Justin to please call me as soon as they found out what work was needed. He confirmed that they could accommodate all my requests including keeping me updated. He never called, text, emailed, nor sent smoke signals. There was zero communication. Making matters worse, I tried calling 3 times while on vacation. Every time the phone was lifted off the hook and then hung back up. I witnessed Justin doing this to two other customers that were calling while I was in the shop yesterday. How incredibly unprofessional. Still zero call back. In the month that my vehicle was on their property Justin had never picked up the phone and called me. All communication was initiated by me. To date Justin still has never called me with any information. All calls and communication have been solely on me.Finally I just went to the shop (now a month later) extremely cordially, letting none of my frustration be apparent to Justin, and asked to pay my bill to current. Then I asked Justin if they could bring the vehicle back to my residence. He said no problem. I asked for specific timing on that delivery. Justin promised to be there at 10am the next day. That's today.� At 11am I called to find out why the vehicle was not there. He said they would deliver in 30 min. At noon I decided to go to the shop to find out why the vehicle still wasn't delivered. Justin, Jay, a tow truck driver, and their car detailer were all kicked back in the office joking and laughing. I walk in, ask if they're ready to bring the vehicle. Justin then informed me they would "get to it some time today." I then said I wanted the vehicle brought to my residence now. "Here, here are your keys, you want the vehicle, take it. " I said that isn't what we agreed on, that in fact Justin was the one that was setting all the timing, and he should do what he said he would do. After him repeatedly telling me I could "get my vehicle off the property now," and me repeatedly saying that was not the agreement, they finally took the 12 min out of their day that it took to get the vehicle to my home.There is so much more I could note about this bad experience, I'm simply out of patience and time. What an incredibly terrible experience. I own my own business, if I treated my customers like Justin treated me, I would not have any business left. You need an emissions test done, Justin can likely handle that. You need actual customer service DO NOT USE JAY'S AUTO!Services: Car towing, Brakes

I ended up with a flat tire Called AAA & they told me that I should expect the service tech within 45min, within 4 minutes I had received a Friendly call from Steve at Jays Auto informing me he should arrive withIn 10 minutes. I was so happy when he arrived so quickly, then immediately he serviced my flat tire & even offered to inspect the tire to find out how I got the flat, he then found a long screw & told me that I could get it repaired at any tire place. He is a very friendly fellow working for a great company like Jays Auto!! Thanks Guys!

Looking for a headache? Need your car in the shop for 5 days or more and on the 5th day still no repair? Want to pay extra for front brakes and rooters for a car that was supposed to be test driven and the brakes and rooters were a recommended job not this issue it was towed in for but when you go to pick it up when all repairs were completed the car can t even make it off the lot? You found the right place! They specialize in giving the round, excuses, and worst then poor customer service. Im out $1000 + and the car is still not running. They fixed whatever they claimed the issue was just enough to get me home 2 MILES AWAY. By the time I go to do grocery shopping with my wife and children ages 4months 2yrs and 8yrs that same night we picked up the vehicle which was supposed to be completely fixed my car had white smoke coming out from under the hood and the steering wheel was locked up as if the power steering tank was bone dry. Mind you this happened thankfully less than 1 minute down the road. Then when we called to ask for a refund from the OWNER/mechanic he yelled and screamed over the phone he will not refund any money and that the car is our problem not his! Let me be clear DO NOT BE SO DESPERATE TO DO ANY BUSINESS HERE FOR ANY REASON! What a nightmare experience can t even make this nonsense up!Services: Brakes, Local hauling

Loved purchasing a car from this dealer couple of months back. Clear cut information. No pressure to apply loan/take finance from them. No pressure to trade in old vehicle. I am from neighbouring state and decided to give a try after reading lot of positive reviews about this dealer and being a Carfax advantage dealer. They did not disappoint and exceeded my expectations actually.Adam, sales Manager - very polite, informative. No pressure to buy. After sales support was top notch.Dave and Elliot, service managers - very friendly, experienced folks. Will get you good stuff.Jay, owner - felt like speaking to a family member. Very jovial. He gets the work done by his team.

Honest fair work! Had to drop my truck off for service unannounced (had no appointment) and they were able to get to it like I had been one of there long time customers. I am surprisingly shocked at how informative they have been and easy to talk to along the way. The service manager Justin is a stand up guy and will tell you what is what on your vehicle. No crazy up sales just honest and good work by a family owned small business. They have earned a life time customer here. Thanks guys for all the hard work!

The best. I was hit and need some work done on my car door just before work that day. A simple problem. They took me in after being denied by so many other local shops due to lack of a scheduled appointment. I got to hang out with the crew. Great people by the way to pass the time with. They fixed the problem in a very decent amount of time with. When the job was finished I asked one of the mechanics how much I owe for the work. He said "you're straight man.. Just leave review for us and you're good." I made it to work just in time. I found my guys. You should make them yours.

Jay's Auto is hands down the best auto repair shop I have ever been to!!! I honestly wish that I could give them more than five stars. I am always apprehensive about getting my car checked out because in the past I have had people tell me I need to get work done on my car that actually wasn't necessary and they would try charging me an arm and a leg. When I came here, I was treated like family and everyone there was genuinely concerned about my safety while driving in my broken car. When my car broke down, I called AAA and Chris came to tow my car. I explained my situation to him and he brought me to Jay s. When I got there, Justin worked on my car and was so kind and understanding and did an amazing job. It's difficult to put into words how incredible my entire experience was. They went above and beyond for me and if I lived nearby I would 100% come back for any and all of my car problems.

The folks here do a great job. I had a strange problem with my car - gas pumps would shut off every time I tried to fill the tank - and they were able to get me in the same day I called, find the problem, and fix it for a fair price. My experience with Jay's Auto was great! The staff were very helpful, the Sales Manager Adam is very professional and made my buying process very easy, quick and stress free. I purchased a Honda Accord and I'm very pleased with what I got. I highly recommend this dealership if your looking for a good used car at an affordable fair price. There was no haggling over pricing and I would recommend Jays Auto and Adam to anyone. Thank you, Jays Auto, I love my new car. :)
