We had a remote car starter installed,and we had such a great experience from start to finish.The staff was very professional and the showroom was very nice and the waiting room was clean.When they were finished te installation completed Rob showed us how to use the remote starter.We definitely would recommend Extreme Audio to anyone to this company.

A great place to come for any custom audio needs. I ve had multiple cars done with speaker upgrades, amp installs, custom wiring, and Rob and the team always deliver a 11/10 product and experience. Very professional work, no corners cut. You do get what you pay for, but even that being said, their pricing is fair. I would recommend the shop for any job, big or small.

My family and I have been working with Extreme audio for about 10 years ever since their last location! You will get the best quality of work Every-time! It s very affordable. Work is efficient and fast! You will not be disappointed! I didn t really understand everything I needed. They broke it down for me so I could understand. They re not pushy! Love this place! Recommend 10 out 10! Rob and his staff are awesome!

I go there to get my intoxalock calibrated. Twice when I was leaving I had battery issues, which were not talked to why I was there. The staff was very helpful. They came out checked my car and was able to fix the issues quickly. They didn't charge me and were happy to help. There customer service is amazing.

I just want to take a moment and express my sincere gratitude to Rob and his team! I have done business with Rob for over 18 years, back when he was Pirate Radio. If you are looking for the most premium quality service, honest upfront pricing, and safe performing audio then this is the only place in New England that I would reccomend. Over 10 years ruling the car audio circuit, Rob and his team can and will do anything you need. Just take a look at those A-Pillars his upholster did over the course of a week!! Best in the business!!

Kyle was so helpful and informative. He did a wonderful job of explaining the type of equipment I needed for my sound system. Without him, I would have potentially blown my truck speakers. I m so grateful for him saving my system. Rob is great too he worked on my first car and is the reason I came back to extreme audio. Honestly, I don t know what I would do without either of them. 10/10 I would recommend extreme audio anytime, any day.

I would highly recommend Extreme Audio! Rob and his staff are amazing. I came in the week before Christmas with no clue other than I needed a stereo and back up camera for my son's car. Rob walked me through choosing products and even explained how to use everything to my son when it was installed. He is very professional, knowledgeable and definitely took his time to make sure we were comfortable with it all. From someone who was giving it as a gift but had no idea what I was doing, he made sure to share his knowledge and that made all the difference. Thanks again Rob!

It's not often that I share a review for a local business. However in this case I feel this is deserved. We recently had remote starters installed in 3 of our cars. I was unwittingly meeting my wife there to pick up our son's car after installation. I found out (by accident) my car was next to have one installed. "Merry Christmas" my wife told me. I must say Extreme did all 3 of our cars in an afternoon. The service was quick, professional and affordable. I can't believe I have waited this long to get a remote starter. As winter has arrived, I use my remote starter often since my car gets the driveway to sleep in. Thank you Extreme Audio & Performance. I highly recommend them for your audio and remote starter needs.

They have an excellent service. My Bluetooth stereo memory was full and I couldn't connect my new phone. They helped me fixing this problem and enabled another features on my stereo. They did a good job. Highly recommend. This will be my favorite place for everything my car needs.

I've been taking my vehicles to Rob for 10 years now. He has done a full alpine system build in 2 vehicles - head unit, speakers, amp, subs, and box. He's also taken care of tints for 2 of my vehicles. Most recently, he installed a remote starter. This business is extremely professional and has great customer service. You really can't ask for anything better. I trust that leaving my vehicle with Extreme Audio that the job will be done properly. I've never had a reason not to come back. Thank you!

If I could give this place a million stars I would, Kyle is the best of the best! His personality is top tier. You can just tell he s a hard worker, honest, and truly cares which shows in his work. My car battery died which was preventing me from making it there in time for other maintenance needs, him and Shawn and John didn t hesitate to help me right away despite it being after close. You guys are awesome and I ll be sure to let everyone know. Thankyou again Kyle for always being so kind and helpful!

Very cooperative and enthusiastic. Great show room. Actually has all Alpine everything which my system is. Lost track of time browsing. Definitely coming back soon to do the Mustang. I was on my way home after and my Subs stopped working so I turned around and came back, the owner who was busy dropped everything to find the problem and replaced the fuses which he only charged me a dollar, in the parking lot then adjusted my system so it sounded correctly, also fixing the issues I was having from my last installer, which deserves no attention but their name ends in Audio in Vernon. Save your large amount money they'll overcharge you just to have future problems and just go to Extreme Audio. You're welcome lol.

I have used Extreme Audio for years. I was referred to Extreme after I had bad results with another local audio establishment. I find Rob and his staff to be true professionals, that go above and beyond great service. I have used them for my vehicles, my wife's vehicles and also my sons. They are true professionals and are extremely reasonable on thier pricing. I can't think of a time they have installed something on my vehicle that wasn't done to 1000% of my satisfaction. And always to my surprise they vacuum out my vehicle showing no signs of having any work done. I highly recommend this business for all your audio needs.This winter I will silently thank them daily as my remote starter warms up my vehicle. I came to Rob here at extreme audio because of the rich history he has in car audio in the year 2000 he held the world record for loudest car. When I initially reached out to him he sat on the phone and we nerded out about car audio, his attention to detail and knowledge was my sign that this was the shop that I needed to go with, the guys at the shop did a phenomenal job with my install and the tools and technology that they used to fine tune my sound were exactly the caliber tools I wanted to see after doing hours of research piecing together my system. I will go to extreme audio for all of my builds moving forward. They installed a big 3 wiring kit, 4 Channel amp and 1 channel amp, installed my sub in my box. The work is CLEAN they even fixed the positioning of my head unit and installed a voltage meter two things that were not on the quote. They went over time and still honored the price. If you re serious about car audio give Rob at extreme audio a call!

TERRIBLE SERVICE! I purchased a $1500 Alpine audio system and paid $400 to have them install it. After I left the shop, I was unable to access the settings to change the date and time. When I called to ask about it, Rob said, with no apology, "Oh I guess we need to install an update." REALLY!? You didn't think to do that while it was being installed? And you didn't think to check to make sure it was working properly before you released it to the customer? Then, Andriod Auto (connected by a cable to an obviously loose jack) started to cut out. Upon my FOURTH visit to the shop, they tried to tell me the problem was caused by an Apple setting being turned off. SERIOUSLY!? As soon as I drove off, it started cutting out again. Another call to Rob, who said he would call the Alpine rep and get back to me. Guess what? HE NEVER CALLED BACK. Upon my FIFTH VISIT, I was told that the problem was the "cheap" cable I was using, so Rob SOLD me a $30 cable. Guess what?! Within an hour, it stopped working. ANOTHER call to Rob, who again, without apology, said he would call his Alpine rep and get back to me. That was three weeks ago and surprise, surprise, Rob never called back. His attitude and actions clearly demonstrate little to no interest in customer satisfaction or in resolving problems with his merchandise.

While researching installers for a remote start system for my car, I randomly selected Extreme Audio. I was impressed with the professional manner in which my call was handled. I was provided with enough information to make a decision as to the system to be installed. Most impressively, I was told that there was opening to have the job done on the very day of my inquiry. I took my car in and received a warm welcome. The store was neatly laid out will a wide variety of car audio equipment. I left my car at the shop and was surprised when I was contacted and told that the job was done and car ready for pickup in just over two hours of leaving it at the shop.Rob and his coworker at the desk (whose name I do not remember at the moment) made me feel that my business was appreciated and ensured that I was satisfied with the service. I will not hesitate to welcome Extreme Audio to anyone who is looking to have car remote start or other audio installation service performed.

Called to ask about a remote key start for daughters car, spoke to Sean, super friendly and gave me all the info I needed, I went in the next day to talk to them, and spoke to Rob, again great to work with, same exact price, told me they install it the next day(Saturday at 9:00). Dropped the car off and would come back later! Got there at 4:08pm, they close at 4:00, Rob was still there and came out to talk to us, showed us how it worked, great service! Unfortunately, as my wife left and drove away, 100 feet later,a car did an illegal uturn and smashed into the car, Rob and his wife Lisa saw it ran over to her to make sure she was okay, waited until police came talked to her settled her down, I got there spoke to them. All was fine except car. The following day he called me to check on her! Well, car is being fixed, remote starter working and I would recommend this place to everyone I can, great service, great prices, but most of all great people! If I could give 50 stars I would!

Rob, the owner of Extreme Audio rocks! He is knowledgeable and honest. I went into Extreme Audio bracing myself for an estimate of hundreds of dollars to replace the after market remote starter that I couldn't get to work any more and an older Kenwood digital multimedia receiver that I couldn't connect to my new phone. In less than 15 minutes, Rob got the remote starter to work by reprogramming the remote and showed me how to connect my new phone to the receiver. AND he didn't charge me! I will definitely be using Extreme Audio for all my future car audio and performance purchases. I highly recommend Extreme Auto to anyone looking for honesty and great customer service. Thanks, Rob!

I'm a new customer got my remote car starter installed here today. Rob the owner and his wife Lisa are extremely inviting and professional. They understand that customer service is just as important as getting the job done right and they went above and beyond my expectations. They fixed my broken key fob and were able to locate another key I could keep as a spare. It was done in a few hours and they called me to explain a small fee that needed to be added [before doing the service] to make sure it was ok. [Due to my car being old/more work was needed lol] When I picked up my car Rob explained how to use my starter in detail respectfully...introduced me to the tech who worked on my car and gave me a free estimate on some upholstery repair on my interior. That's an additional add on service I did not ask for- however it was appreciated by me because I invest into keeping my car nice and want it to last..it was thoughtful and not pushy. This is a business that wants lasting meaningful business and left a good impression on me today. Thanks Rob, Lisa, Joe and Sean.

GO TO THE END OF THIS REVIEW FOR ANOTHER INSTALLMENT OF WHY I RECOMMEND EXTREME AUDIO When I decided to upgrade the factory stereo in my 2006 Miata I had several options. Seeing as we're in the middle of a pandemic I thought this could be a good pandemic project. I could buy what I need on line, save a little money, and try my hand at car stereo installation. I quickly tossed that idea when faced with the complexity of an installation in a very small space, a seemingly unlimited selection of electronics and speakers, little or no technical support and my wife's objections. I rejected the big box stores as NOT too big to fail; I've had bad luck with their journeyman installers on other vehicles.Then I contacted the Mazda dealership in town and asked them if they do sound system installations. The service manager suggested I go to Extreme Audio as that's where they bring their new cars for upgraded components. He was correct.From the moment I got to Extreme Audio I felt comfortable. Rob Lewis, the owner of Extreme Audio (with more than 30 years of installation experience himself) had one of his technicians come out to my Miata to listen to what I had and discuss what I was looking for in a sound system. After reviewing the available options within my budget I settled on an Alpine system with JBL component speakers.My installation was completed in a timely manner and I was able to see photos of the work as it progressed; Rob likes to keep a photo record of his work for reference. I was so happy with the new system that I returned to have an additional speaker installed in the dashboard to improve the sound when I have the top down, which is always!Rob, Shawn, Joe and Joshua treated me as a valued customer and I wouldn't hesitate to refer others to Extreme Audio for their car stereo needs. They are truly professionals.THE NEW STUFF - So, fast forward 3 years and I m back at Extreme Audio for a radio tune up. I just wasn t comfortable with the sound. It seemed that the driver s side speaker was significantly louder than the passenger side and I was intermittently losing about 50% of the sound there as well. I called EA and scheduled an appointment to evaluate my problem.Justin took my system apart and It turned out that I had a bad crossover switch on the passenger side causing the problem.I was in and out in about an hour and happily driving home, radio blaring Kenny Wayne Shepard as balanced as it was when brand new 3 years ago.Thank you Extreme Audio and your knowledgeable and efficient owner and staff, Rob, Justin and Shawn.People keep coming back because music is so important to life. Why trust your sound system to amateurs when the best is available

I ve had many stereo systems in different vehicles throughout the years and dealt with Rob for two different stereo systems in two different vehicles. Both systems from him were powerful, exactly what I expected, and without the issues I ve had at other places. They stand by their work which seems to be rare these days, I ll only deal with Extreme Audio for my cars.

Excellent service they got the sound system that was going to be best for for my bike and me and at a reasonable price with financing available Even when my bike didn t start because of the battery they came and started no questions asked.The owner never tried to upsell me.Overall great experience will definitely be back again

I brought a 33 year old Saab 900 to Rob for new stereo and speaker installation. He took me the same day I called. His crew installed a new, modern touchscreen stereo with Sirius/XM antenna, and 4 new speakers.For some reason, the stereo didn t recognize my phone, so the next day without hesitation, Rob said bring it back in. He fixed that issue (gremlin), then, when one of my new speakers turned out to be defective, he spent more time troubleshooting and identifying why suddenly all sound ceased to play from the unit.I cannot recommend Extreme Audio enough. Rob and his team know their stuff, and are true professionals.

Classic example of exceeding expectations on every front. Had them install Car Play. Easy to schedule, completed the work well ahead of expectation, fully explained the installation as they took the time to tour me through it. Nice people. I couldn't be happier with them and their work.
