What a great experience! It was my first major repair on my 16 year old Toyota corolla. Fair prices, honest, friendly staff, I will never take my car anywhere else! Highly recommend!

I know it s too late to review. I always take all my cars to Lynch Toyota for services, but on 5/31/23, my wife took our Rav4 to Ex-Per Tech Auto for a quick oil change. For some reason, they replaced the drain plug. Later, I noticed oil spills in our parking lot but we didn t have time to take the car to a shop to check out the problem. In November, I took our Rav4 to Lynch Toyota for different issues on the vehicle. Lynch Toyota noticed the oil leak and the wrong after-market drain plug was installed, cross-threaded, and not tightened. Ex-Per Tech Auto damaged the oil pan by forcing the wrong after-market drain plug to tighten. I had to replace the damaged oil pan and pay for the new one at the Lynch Toyota. Then, I went back to Ex-Per Tech Auto to take care of the cost of the damage they did in May 2023 during the oil change. They told me they can do nothing about it. I asked them to do something instead of covering the total cost of the damage; they said it was my fault that I did not go back to them when the problem occurred. I will never go back to them and recommend anybody else. I had to give them one star to post my experience.

Seriously the best place to get your car fixed. He will not overcharge you. He will even tell you if it s something you can do yourself rather than charge you for something simple. A really honest mechanic!!

This is a place that our large family & us have used for long time. So this rating comes with alot of input from our experiences & our family's too. They have always done great work for a correct, not overblown, price. I can even remember our car needing the transmission fixed. They identified the problem & was straight with us that it would fix it, but it would only be worth it if the transmission was still in good condition inside. They didn't charge us & directed us to a transmission place they knew that could check the transmission & do the job too. That way we didn't waste money fixing it. If it wasn't worth it? The place they sent us was even great. The checked & fixed it. I don't know of any places like this place anymore. Nobody goes as far as they will to make sure that what is done is the best for you & your car. I say this years later with the same car & just having the wheel bearing & CV axle replaced by them. The car is back, fixed, & driving like new. So this review is backed up well. Plus, I don't do reviews, but I felt the need to do this one for anybody looking for a trusted mechanic. Jeremy is incredibly trustworthy & reasonable. At at time when any shop can gouge just because of the current demand & inflation; Ex-Per Tech deliberately chooses not to. It is clear that they prioritize building their professional reputation & taking care of their customers over making as much money as possible. In the year and a half I've been bringing my vehicles to them, it is clear that they are offering the best possible value for their services. I do not believe that they would take advantage of anyone in any circumstance, regardless of an individual's mechanical knowledge. I was referred to Ex-Per Tech by a friend who's been going to Jeremy for years, and his experience is exactly the same as mine. I never take the time to write reviews; However, I was prompted to today because another friend of mine just had their front & rear rotors replaced on a 2017 Hyundai Sonata at the dealership for $1,500. I was appalled that even a Hyundai dealership is gouging people to the same level as a BMW dealership. After looking back at at the invoices from Ex-Per Tech for brakes on my Audi; I'm guessing they would've charged my friend less than half what they paid the dealership for the same exact service. Took my car to 3 different shops that could not figure out the noise my car was making. My friend recommended this place and within 3 hours they knew what was the problem and fixed it for me. Would highly recommend.

Brought my 05 accord hybrid to them. Thought I had a bad engine mount andsomething wrong with drivers side wheel. Told me needed ball joints and control arm drivers side and that timing belt tensioner was Failing. Fixed everything perfect gave me 100$ off and didn't give me a fake list of 20 other things wrong. Highly highly recommend Jeremy. They are good honest mechanics. Found them on Google thru the reviews and glad I did

We highly recommend the dynamic team at Ex Per Tech! Jeremy and his mechanics are diagnostic and repair geniuses and his wife is the sweetest office manager too. Ex Per Tech is the only place we truly trust with our vehicle repairs. I ve been bringing my vehicles to Jeremy s Ex-per Tech for well over a decade now. Jeremy and his always pleasant and professional team, whom also includes his other half Gina as the front desk receptionist. They were recommended to me by a coworker when I worked for DST in South Windsor. Ever since the first repair estimate and repair work by Jeremy and his team I ve been avidly convinced that they do great customer service and repairs. I ve been so satisfied with their service that even though I now live over an hour drive away from their location in Manchester CT, I still have my vehicles towed to them for their quality and honest repair work. If I could give them a rating higher than 5 stars it would be 10 out of 10. I m so glad they are in business, because good honest quality auto repair is hard to come by. My overall impression after my first service from Jeremy and company is excellent value. They did a complete brake job and transmission flush on my '14 Highlander. After a week of driving I couldn't be happier. Fast, friendly and honest and a flawless repair. Only one experience so far but 10/10.

HONEST KIND PEOPLE!!Great experience during difficult time. Had broken down on the highway during Christmas week. Was referred here to diagnose my car's damage. The owner was polite and forthcoming. Gave me the bad news, but also advised how best to get to nearby family. All w/o price gouging (which he easily could've done).Merry Christmas right back at you!!! Thanks!

My parents referred me to Ex-Per Tech for car repairs. They have fair pricing & Gina at the front seat was lovely. The most important factor in my experience was getting my car back on the same day. Definitely recommended, took my car for diagnosing coolant and fan issue- they were easily able to fix it after spending couple of hours and charged very minimal..

I'm someone who never had to pay for car repairs before and the thought of prices and location gave me anxiety. I know I wanted to stay close to home and I wanted someone I could always go to. I called Ex-Per and Regina answered and we talking about my car issues and after our conversation I was calm. I drop my car off and 2 days later the job was complete. I didn't feel pressure into a bunch of work I had no idea about. Regina explain everything to me from a woman's perspective. Definitely, will be recommending and taking my cars here for all its service needs! I thank you guys so much.

I have taken my car here twice now.No one likes to have to take their car to the garage. I have to say tho I was pleased with the service and repairs. My car was fixed reasonably quick.

I have been going to this business for a lot of years. It was bought by Jeremy and his wife Gina about 6 years ago. Jeremy was a tech there for about 12 years prior. Their prices are very fair and do a great job with repairs. They have 3 bays and suggest you drop your vehicle off so they can properly diagnose the issues.Being in the automotive business for a few years myself, I appreciate the fair prices and honest workmanship.

I think it speaks volumes of the owner s integrity when you bring in your car for new brakes and they call you back to tell you that you still have life left on them and immediate replacement of your brakes is unnecessary.I recently took my car to the dealership for an oil change and on the paperwork the dealership indicated that my brakes needed immediate attention. After this, I called around for quotes and not only was Ex-Per Tech the cheapest, they were extremely friendly and helpful.After I dropped my car off, they did an inspection of the brakes and determined I still has 30 percent of life left on them. No charge for the inspection or anything.Integrity, professionalism, and great service is why I will continue to come here in the future for all of my automotive needs.Service: Brakes

Super friendly and affordable! Came in, explained what was going on (from my non-car perspective) and they called me with an update. Cost me barely a hundred dollars to fix the issue WITH an oil change. I initially decided to come to Ex-Per Tech simply based on reading these reviews, and I m glad I did as Jeremy & his crew are top-tier mechanics. Not only are they friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable, Jeremy always takes the time to educate me whenever I have questions about what they re doing or what their plans are for my car. I am confident that Ex Per tech always has my best interests in mind - add the fact that their pricing is very reasonable & competitive, and I will not be taking my car anywhere else!

This shop went above and beyond to help me out when I was in a bad situation. I had just gotten turned away by another local shop that decided not to take my car in for service even though I made an appointment two weeks in advance. Called up Jeremy, the owner here and he was incredibly friendly and professional and managed to get me in when they were already incredibly busy. Jeremy and his mechanics are great. I have been using Ex-Per Tech for many years and they have always been fair and honest. It's hard to find a good mechanic who you can always trust your vehicles with. I suprised Ex-Per Tech when I had my car towed there on Wednesday night. Despite their busy schedule they were able to get me back up and running no time! I chose them for their excellent reviews and they did not disappoint.The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I'm very particular about who I let work on my car's and I'm glad I chose Ex-Per Tech! Highly recommend!

They have a customer for life! The staff here are super friendly, quick and saved me a lot of money. My girlfriend brought her car in for an evaporative system leak. Jeremy diagnosed the issue for a very fair price, then recommended repairs. He even let us check for other part prices online! Great, nice, and honest service. What more could you want in an auto shop?
