Thankful Sunshine Car Repair is a local shop for me. Every aspect of my experience was flawless and professional. Jennifer was amazing, the quote was spot on and she was attentive. I appreciate the low cost loaner. The shop was spotless; a clear indication of the quality and pride they take in their work. Their use of modern IT texts/solutions is comparable to modern dealerships. Looking forward to building a relationship with the team. Thank you for taking good care of me, I appreciate it.

Sunshine Care Repair is professional in many ways! I trust them with my car and know they do an excellent job in attending to my car's needed repairs. I've been using them for a number of years and consider them to be the Best in the Litchfield area! I appreciate that they keep me in touch with any new and unexpected repairs that may warrant my attention. They even will photograph certain types of jobs to show you what's going on under the Hood!.I especially like Jennifer, who is very knowledgeable about explaining in detail what is going on with my car repairs. Andy and his crew are good people, knowledgeable, ready to help and I gave them 5 Stars!!!

Every visit has been a positive experience. Andy, Jennifer and their mechanics have performed spot on diagnoses of problems we ve experienced over the past dozen + years of our history together. Expect the best because that s what you get.

Didn t catch the guys name, but he was super helpful although they were closed. We were visiting the area and noticed we were missing a lugnut and had picked one up at a parts store. He put it on and checked the other ones. Thankful we can now make a safe return to TN!

First off, Jennifer in the office (receptionist/secretary) was AMAZING! She was super helpful and went above and beyond.However, at arrival one of the mechanics was rude/offensive/disrespectful to our tow truck driver. And wasn t much better to us (his customer). He pretty much asked why we brought it to him and told us we had other places we could take it (which is what we ended up doing). We re from Michigan and this guy was perfectly fine with leaving us stranded in Connecticut. They gave us a quote that was astronomical, we believe so that we would take it elsewhere. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

An axle suddenly snapped on my 2007 Honda Accord. I decided to bring it to Sunshine based on the good reviews I found online, and I'm so glad that I did. They did a fantastic job fixing my car and it cost less than I thought it would. They are friendly, professional, and they treat you like family. I've been taking my Subaru Outbacks to Sunshine since moving to Litchfield in 2004. In fact, I will not consider even thinking about trying another car repair service. The entire staff is highly professional and of course incredibly competent and knowledgeable. I have recommended Sunshine to friends, and each has been very pleased with the service, so much so that each of them is now a loyal customer of Sunshine.Update 2019--I recently purchased a new VW Golf Alltrack, and Sunshine repair is the only shop that I will use. They are terrific with foreign cars.Update 2023.-I had a problem with dual clutch system on my VW Golf Alltrack, which Andy diagnosed and corrected/repaired in 24 hours. I called on a Friday and Jennifer got my car immediately into the shop on Monday morning, which I very much appreciate since Andy's shop is almost always booked solid every day. This is the same excellent quality of service that I've received from Sunshine since my very first experience there in 2004!Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

Andy and Jennifer quickly responded to my request for a replacement tire and corresponding wheel alignment. Andy patiently answered my mechanical questions and washed the car before handing the keys back the day after I first contacted them. I've been using sunshine car repair for quite a few years. My family members have used them as well. Always able to get car in quickly with the service done in a timely manner. They also have loaner cars when needed and have offered a ride home if needed as we live in town. They are honest and reliable. Have never tried to suggest a service not needed as some of the dealerships can..prices are fair..not over priced.Everybody is friendly and welcoming!Would recommend them anytime.Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Battery, Oil change

This place is nothing shy of great! They are honest, fair and trustworthy.They are not out to upsell you with services you do not need. If you tell them the level to which you would like to maintain your vehicle, they match that with proper recommendations. The absolute best part.... if you call ahead and make appointment, they can offer the give you a loaner vehicle! Who does that anymore!!!?Their shop and staff are top notch. Their garage could host a party on demand - it's that clean.Give a call and get a quote. You will be pleasantly surprised.I was always one that thought for some reason I always needed to go to my dealer to get the very best care for my car. I was quite wrong.

Everyone at Sunshine is always very helpful and informative and the cleanliness of the office and shop area is impressive. They have a shared interest in keeping my car running safely for me considering how much I am on the road. I love that they point out repairs I will need in the future so I can budget for them. Nothing is hidden, they are very transparent with me about my repairs; much appreciated as some shops seem to think that women know nothing about cars. Oddly I tend to be a bit of a gearhead. The car is returned to me cleaner than I left it with them, she looks as good as the first day I bought her. I highly recommend Sunshine Car Repair to anyone that asks about a reputable area mechanic, but they are truly worth the trip from anywhere!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Air conditioning, Oil change

Andy and Jennifer are always so friendly, accommodating, and honest about what my car needs (and doesn't need). They understand my concerns about cost and don't suggest work that isn't necessary. I can always rely on Sunshine to get the work done right the first time and Andy is wonderful about explaining exactly what is needed and what was done. The last time I was there, my car came back to me noticeably cleaner than when I left it, and I hadn't even requested that attention. Such a pleasant surprise--that's Sunshine Auto!

I have been using Sunshine Car Repair for a number of years and have always felt that the service is exemplary. I trust them and know they will help me out of my repair/tuneup, whatever situation when I need them.Many thanks to Andy, Jennifer and staff for the great help over the years.It is important to be to shop local. It is also very nice to have my automobile service needs taken care of in town.I expect excellent service and I ALWAYS get it.

I am SO happy to have found Sunshine Car Repair in Litchfield, CT. They did an absolutely outstanding job with my car, their digital app automatically sent me photos of the issues, the recommendation(s) for repairs and allowed me to approve the work - all via the app.I appreciated this transparency and the detailed explanations of the problems (i.e. - explaining whether or not something was a safety issue, etc.). I also received a full print out and pdf of services performed to keep on file.Jennifer and Andy are both so friendly, and Andy's two dogs are adorable. Absolutely the best service around. Jen and Andy will work with you to make sure your car gets everything it needs. I have had a lot of work done to my car at Sunshine, but I have never had to have the same thing done twice! They are the only place I trust for my family and work vehicles.

Our car broke down over the weekend and we had it towed to Sunshine, this was our first experience and it was A+ service, quality, timing and pricing!They even vacuumed and washed our car. I look forward to using and recommending Sunshine in the future!! Thank you again! You all rock!
