I am so pleased with the service I received. Everyone is so helpful and nice. Matt is top notch. He helped get my car fixed immediately in a crisis situation. I was very pleased with the cost as well. Thank you Dowling Toyota , you made a very stressful situation very easy for me.

The owners of this dealer should look at the reviews below regarding poor customer service. I had scheduled an oil change last week and the individual who scheduled it put it at a different time than request. (that is okay, mistakes happen!) Instead of trying to help me, he turned me away. When I called to reschedule, someone else, who claimed to be the manager put me on hold and then came back and then snarkily asked "are you going to actually show up to this appointment?" I responded with "Yes, there was an error last week in my time booked." He said "Oh, I am well aware, I am the manager." That is awful customer service! Needless to say, I canceled the appointment and will bring my money somewhere else.

I had an issue with a 2022 4Runner with 31K Miles that I just purchased ( Still under Warranty) Brought it to Dowling and had it looked at. My previous vehicle was a 2007 Rav4 AWD. The Rav4 is Automatic AWD, or you can press a button to engage it from a stop, the 4Runner is quite different with a sequence that you must go through (some what confusing) to engage 4Lo/4Hi/2Hi/DAC/ATRAC. To make a long story short I was trying out the different systems and I got stuck in 4Lo and I could not get it out? Drove it in Reverse, than Forward (In 2Hi) but it would not disengage? So I called Dowling's Service Department while in the car for help and I get this guy Pat to ask for some guidance, and what do I get? A really nasty person talking down to me, telling me that I'm looking for trouble and that he was not going to help me!!! All I have to say is, this guy needs a Vacation! Completely disrespectful, Arrogant, full of himself (He said I have 37 Years of experience) BIG DEAL DUMMY! When you talk down to people, and not offer help you should be FIRED! Last time I'll go to this dealership! YOU SUCK! This is directed at Pat! Matt, and Chris where very good!

I just wanted to publicly thank Pat for making my wife's buying experience so amazing. She had a truly poor experience at another Toyota dealership, so to come here and get the complete opposite was a huge relief.We were not planning on purchasing a car this year. Life just threw us a curve ball and we'd accepted that we needed one immediately. We'd planned on buying a used car, but when my wife walked into Dowling they didn't have any, which is pretty much the situation everywhere right now. Pat very politely pointed out the error in our thinking: used cars prices and interest rates mean that at the price point we were shopping, it just didn't make any sense.He then showed my wife exactly what we needed in a car. Gave her ZERO hassle and promised to take care of all the paperwork for her. Then he delivered! We came back the next day and were in and out in less than ten minutes. Then he pulled the mice that is the sign of a true master salesman: he told us to take it home for the night and make sure it was what we wanted. He'd check back with us the next day to make sure before filing the paperwork. Now THAT'S how you win customers for life as a salesman! And he did call back and we of course said yes and we love our new car!My wife hasn't stopped talking about buying her new car. Not the car - although she hasn't hesitated to go on about that either - but about Pat and how wonderful it was buying a car from him. And she wasn't the only one who was impressed. I'm planning to be in the market for a new Tacoma around this time next year. See you then, Pat.

I took my Lexus NX300h to Dowling to have the microphone replaced. They did that but at the same time caused my navigation to disappear and also left the interior of the car dirty. When I asked what happened to my navigation I was told that I had to leave twice. I contacted Toyota and they sent me t Lexus who sent me to a Lexus dealer. They fixed the car and said that the other dealer left bolts and wires disconnected and wires disconnected

Be very careful. They quoted $800 to fix the Sienna door. Said the whole mechanism had to be replaced. Another shop simply said it needed to be adjusted and did it for free as part of another repair.

My wife bought a new car here, and in the Era of "market adjustments", its good to know that Dowling doesn't even charge a conveyance fee, it's MSRP, sales tax, and cost of registration and you are out the door. No pressure, old school dealer. Pat was excellent to work with and very accommodating, I'd highly recommend ordering a new car from Dowling if you can wait out the supply chain.

My car died and I was in need in finding another car somewhat soon. With these difficult times due to Covid I was impressed with this dealership. I am a fan of Toyota cars and have to say when I saw the car at this dealership I knew I would be happy with it. More importantly (for me) was the way Pat (Manager, I believe) treated me. Kind and helpful yet very professional, he explained all the details about the process, he was so clear on what is expected from me and what I get. No hidden fees and no surprises. I soon went to another dealership and was met with the attitude as if I don't have money to enter that place. Very unpleasant feeling. I rushed to call Pat who was flexible and even held the vehicle for me so I can make arrangements on my end. If you are a fan of old fashioned (rare now!) customer service, go there and have fun buying your car! Thank you, kindly, Pat! Natasha Melichar/happy driver now!

Buying our new Rav4 Prime on line was just amazing!!! Chris did an excellent job!!! Between Chris and Pat they made this process way to easy!!! They did everything they said they would do and more!! Made pick up very easy. We flew in to Hartford and the next morning met us at the hotel for delivery!! We were pleasantly surprised by the all weather floor mats that they had given us! Just a great place to do business!! From the first phone call to delivery everything was amazing!! Thank Again

The most rude and ill-mannered seller! He discriminated against me in conversation and hang up and he is the only salesperson in this tiny dealership! Go to other dealerships around they have friendly and nice people!

This dealership has my business for the foreseeable future. They worked with me to get my new car back in 2008, and they are working with me to get a new one now. While the dealership end of the house is much what you would expect from a dealership (sales-focused, but not to the exclusion of common decency, in my experience), the biggest value is in the shop end of house. These fine folks are realistic, and haven't given me a hard time when repairs exceeded pocketbook.

Topnotch service. A great group of individuals! In my case an unscheduled moment in life that needed a quick service. Not every day the drive shaft separates from the vehicle. Tow service brought me to Dowling, parts on hand and out in a jiffy. Can't beat it.

This dealership deserves a 5 Star rating for customer service. My daughter moved to Connecticut last year and drives a 1997 RAV4. She brought her SUV to Dowling Toyota for oil change and was treated very well. I just retired from Toyota Financial Services this past Jan. 2020 after 29 years and I'm really impressed with the kind of customer service this dealership showed to my daughter. The dealership was honest and no run around. Next time when my daughter decides to purchase a Toyota, this is where she would purchase her new Toyota. Thank you Matt.

Brought my Tacoma in for service a few weeks ago with a front end noise another area Toyota dealership could not figure out. These guys found the problem and took care of it under warranty without any fuss or drama. Thank you!

When my husband and I first leased, a Honda, Accord,we returned it to the dealer in Watertown and we re told that they didn t want it because the car was 3 years old and the model had changed. I didn t understand at all. We went to several other dealers in Watertown and was told by Toyota that to lease it would cost $3,500 down and about $240 a month to lease.Dowling Toyota was recommended to us and after talking to Patrick we were flabbergasted at the difference in pricing. For leasing 3 years ago the exact same car and color that we saw at other dealer.It was about $2,000 down and $180 a month with 12,000 miles a year. No haggle pricing and trauma free.Patrick took our other lease back for us, and handled everything. We will never go to another dealer, they at Dowling listened to what we needed, not what they wanted to give us and there is never a feeling of pressure to get maintenance not needed. Thanks Pat.

Doweling toyota, I left my sienna for warrenty service overnite. Picked up my car and noticed a mark on the front fender. I didn,t say anything. My mistake, big mistake. Got home and noticed that there was a good size dent. It happened there for sure. I am very careful with parking my car , I know every mark .The manager never called me back to talk about the problem!!!! All I can say is when leaving your car anywhere for a repair have the service provider do a walk around the car and note any body problems!!!! Learned my lesson at the tune of 150.00 for the dent doc to remove the dent. Other than that I have no other other problems with this dealership. The owner did get back to me, Chris and did the right thing reemburusted me for the repair.I will surely keep my bussiness at this deslership. Thanks Chris.

Worst customer service ever! And the manager was the one who was providing the nonservice!!!We bought a brand new truck, running boards are rusting already ,only 1 year old and they want to charge us labor to put on the part that supposed to be stainless steel and not rust! Spending $35,000 wasn't enough they'll rob you any way that can. Manager was rude and hung up on me. Don't go here, it's not a professional place of business, it's a joke !!!!

Called to get a quote for an extended warranty and they couldn't be bothered. I live about 35 min away and he questioned why I called him... I guess they do so well, they don't need the extra business.

After trying to return my lease to a Toyota Dealer in Torrington, Dowling Toyota made it easy. After working for a Toyota dealership in Milford I know I could drop off my lease at any dealer. The dealer in Torrington refused to help me telling me to go back to Milford. They first asked me where I bought it, where I lived and then proceeded to tell me they had no room. Went to Dowling Toyota and it took all of two minutes to drop off the lease. Thank you for helping me.
