This was a wonderful resort and casino. Foxwoods has come a long way since we started going 20 years ago. There are plenty of food restaurants with a full variety of food to please any age guest or food hunger craving. The room was very large and spacious. We had a suite with a bedroom, 1.5 baths, a bar, large wrap around couch and more. The beds and couch were very comfortable. One negative was they told us the couch pulled out into a bed, but it didn't. Our kids loved the large pool. The only negative was the pool shuts down at certain times throughout the day for cleaning etc., so check with an employee before you take the kids swimming and are forced to leave 10 mins. after you arrive. There is plenty of free parking or you can valet park. We valet parked and the staff was great!Rooms: The room was very large and spacious. We had a suite with a bedroom, 1.5 baths, a bar, large wrap around couch and more. The beds and couch were very comfortable. One negative was they told us the couch pulled out into a bed, but it didn't. The room had a refrigerator but it didn't have a microwave.Safety: This is a safety conscious resort. There is security everywhere and all public areas are under 24/7 video surveillance. You have to have a room key to access any of the resort room areas.Walkability: This is a very large resort so if you have problems walking long distances you should bring a walker, cane, wheelchair etc.Food & drinks: There are plenty of restaurants and food stands that offer a variety of food and desserts. We ate at Wings Express and Whalburgers. Both of those locations had excellent food and service. The wings place messed up our order 3 times in a row, but they kept trying until we got the correct order and were happy. The employees were awesome!Noteworthy details: There are plenty of slot machines, areas to gamble and game tables. My only caution is to check with resort employees before going to the pool because the pool shuts down at certain times during the day. If you don't check the shutdown times you could have some let down kids who only got to swim for 10 minutes before they boot you out to do pool cleaning etc.

Came all the way from Grand Rapids Michigan to get to this behemoth of a building. This place has a little of everything. It's a giant maze of endless fun. The room was clean and cozy TV selection was decent and staff all over was friendly and knowledgeable. The view from the room wasn't awful either. It is fairly pricey but worth it with all the fun. Solid 8.5/10 will be back again

I ve visited Foxwoods countless times and it has consistently been a great destination for a night of entertainment. The rooms are always clean, making the stay enjoyable. The casino experience has been satisfactory, and I ve never been disappointed with any of the dining options available. It s the perfect spot for a great evening out!

What a fun time. I found $15, $25, and $50 tables to be very fun. It's important to remember to bid responsibly, and to call it quits when you stop having fun. This is a family friendly casino, with a lot of shopping options, and eateries. There were kids everywhere. I wasn't real comfortable drinking around all the kids, and the servers were kind of rude; I felt like I was inconveniencing them by asking for a drink. Also, I kept getting asked for my players card, but there were no willing employees to tell me where to get one, until the day I was going home. I asked, but kept getting blown off. All in all the time spent there was enjoyable, and I can't wait to return!

Foxwoods is big and besides gambling and drinking it has some other activities.I traveled with 3 adults (over 21) and 2 youths (17 and 20).For adults there is a fair amount to do to take up a few days trip. For those under 21 activities are limited. I'm sure that will improve when Great Wolf Lodge opens in 2025.Arcade per the youths is geared towards younger kids.I'd see Top Golf open at noon with no one in there. If they allowed under 21 say before 5PM then they might have had a golf game going on (hint hint). The resort itself is enormous I don't think we saw everything. And we seemed to select a few of the not so great restaurants to eat at but there are lots of options. Not being familiar with the place finding restrooms was sometimes tricky. As a drive to casino it is a good option. If you have to fly to get to Foxwoods then there are better options unless the flight is REALLY cheap.Rooms: The view from the room was nice and the layout was practical. The room itself was a little worn with chipped tiles and smear stains on the ceiling.Food & drinks: We like golden dragon, and Johnny Rockets as a chain was consistent with other locations. The food court at Fox tower was closed. Cali pizza was good. Cedar and Juniors was meh

Stayed here for a conference. My room was absolutely horrible. I am not sure who thought renting out this room was a good idea. Worse part was it was midweek so I'm sure other rooms were available. Had to climb over the bed to get to the other side of the room due to the tv cabinet that was actually backwards in the room. With exposed wiring that at least once I forgot was there and stepped on. Couldn't use the desk since the chair hit the bed and couldn't be pulled out. Could barely squeeze past the desk and bed if I wanted to. They should be embarrassed that they rent out a room like this.

Can't say enough amazing things about Foxwoods! My husband and I have been coming here for years.Foxwoods has become our "local" (2.5 hr commute) vacation / home away from home. My husband and I are still pretty young-ish (45), but we both have chronic illnesses that can be debilitating at times, and makes "real" travel difficult. Foxwoods has been an absolute godsend for us. It's the easiest, most fun getaway for us and allows us to forget a little about the stresses of life and enjoy some QT, without the added stress/exertion of air travel. The suites in the Grand Pequot are absolutely perfect. The scooter rental on site is tremendously helpful for me to be able to get around the property on difficult days. The dining is amazing (David Burke's and Hell's Kitchen never disappoint). Tara in the Norwich Spa has hands of MAGIC! It's always just such a fun and relaxing time.In addition there are a few standouts we always look so forward to seeing. A few dealers at the roulette table in the "high limit" room always bring a smile to our faces, and they are so sweet, funny and genuinely seem like just GOOD hearted people. Even if they might be having a bad day of their own, they never show it. Mike S., Muriel and Robert . Travis who deals the "video roulette" in the arena is such a fun and sweet guy. Always dancing and projecting his positive energy onto the crowd. Also Lucie! The sweet and fiery cocktail server in the high limit table room. She is such a pleasure of a human. Always smiling, kind and attentive, and clearly works her butt off!(It's important to note, we try to only go on weekdays, as the casino is less busy and this might be why we enjoy it so much. It's quiet, easy, not too crowded, no reservations needed.)Highly recommend! We only wish we lived closer to go more often!Dayna & Paul :)

Wow, it's such a stunning place! It's absolutely breathtaking, and the level of security is just off the charts. They really know what they're doing and take their job seriously. The beauty of the place is simply overwhelming, and you can feel safe knowing that they have everything under control. They definitely don't mess around when it comes to security. It's a marvelous place to be, with an incredible sense of safety and protection.

This casino is world class!! All the staff are super friendly. The facility is kept very clean and up to date. There are games and other activities for everyone. I highly recommend this destination for an enjoyable time.Nearby activities: The casino not only has games of chance but also a nice arcade and other non-gambling activities. There is also an amazing Native American museum on the property.Safety: All the parking is free and well lit, plus the garages are well monitored with cameras. Security is always good.Walkability: Walking anywhere is easy and there are plenty of signs to guide you where you want to go. Escalators and elevators make going up or down easy.Food & drinks: There are many fine dining establishments within the casino.

Visited for my husband's birthday and we both had lots of fun, won some , lost some .beautiful sculptures and a mini indoor waterfall , unfortunately the museum was closed but otherwise I was a great trip. Word of advice to visitors there was a group of Asian people walking around the slot machines taking any member cards and money vouchers left behind by players not paying attention . So just be aware of you surroundings and belongings.

I go for the Bingo, and instead of getting better, it's worse. They should be more organized & prepared after all these years. The workers are never in the loop as to what is going on when asked a question. The workers are amazing with what they are given for instructions. Bingo still charges the same amount but has gotten less with the games, prizes, and payout. Overall, Foxwoods Resort has a lot of exciting things to do.

I reserved a king sweet, upon check in I was told it wasn't available and got a room with 2 queen beds. The dining options were amazing and made up for that experience. The next morning, room service did not pick up the phone, I tried twice for 25 minutes on hold. Ended up going to dunkins in the casino. The games looked like a alot fun only spent $10 on slots and lost it all. My wife had a great experience at the spa and highly recommends it.

Arrived in the afternoon. There were very limited spots available for craps. It took us almost two hours to get onto a table in Cedar. Never saw a waitress. Went to leave and found a spot on a table at Woods (only one table there). The pit crew were less than cordial. The stick man was rude and the box man threw our Foxwoods cards across the table at us without any verbal exchanges. There was no welcome or good luck here. We left, went out to dinner, and then returned because we drove three hours to come here. I'm glad we did. The evening seemed better with more staff and frequented waitressing. We had a great time in the evening. It may be a cheaper table here compared to Encore in the afternoon, but if you want some respect it is better to go at night in my opinion. The tables ran 15. For the most part straight through the evening. It has changed a lot since we were here last about 15 years ago. They've added some new outdoor features which are kind of cool. We were surprised that Rainmaker Casino no longer had craps tables. We were also surprised that some of the restaurants, like Noodles weren't open on a Saturday. On a side note, they are building a Wolf Lodge on site.Oh, and don't even try to order a Perrier. You have to be a special person to get one from a waitress ...like a diamond member for example. At the Encore, even low lifes like me can get one from a waitress for a tip. Guess I'll be special there.

I stayed in the Grand Pequot Tower. It was renovated but nicely done. It was a sister trip and the 3 of us were comfortable in a single room with 2 genuine queen beds; not full size like many hotels try to bill as full/queen! It was lovely. Non-smoking room looked and smelled clean. The room is dark with shades drawn and quiet. Good sleeping and late checkout is available. I recommend this casino for a nice getaway.Rooms: Spacious, clean, lots of outlets. No microwave. Yes refrigerator and coffee maker.Safety: Felt safe. Civil crowd. Fun.

Foxwoods isn't as pretty as Mohegan Sun, but it gets the job done. With the addition of Hell's Kitchen there's fine dining. I shop Tanger outlets they have great prices. I play the slots they offer a lot of fun machines. Foxwoods rewards program is great. Lots of free slot play, great shows comped, and gifts. I'm going to try the zip line this season. Foxwoods is really close to Connecticut Shore, Mystic and Rhode Island beaches so a great place get away.

My wife and I took an impromptu trip to Foxwoods for a holiday getaway and it was SO MUCH FUN! Only a 2.5 hour trip from NYC and it feels like you re in a different world. The rooms were spotless and I recommend going with non smoking Fox Tower. We had a blast at the penny slots and won big. Then continued the fun at blackjack where we won again! Free drinks while gambling and awesome showers in the room. We will be back :)

We had room on a Sunday. It was nice but the only problem was the shower. They had it checked by their maintenance guy, Nick who was helpful unfortunately it can't be fixed asap. However, Nick coordinated it well with the other staff and they upgraded our room to a suite which was very nice. It was a relaxing stay and we enjoyed the room very much and appreciate their effort to make up for the initial inconvenience with the 1st room.

Have to say was not impressed at all this time. We had a corner suite and it definitely wasn't what it used to be. The suite was a little run down, lamp shade was unscrewed, wall paper peeling in the bathroom, 2 towels. The operator did not do her job and call a bellman for us. We waited 45 minutes and no one showed up so I called the operator again and they said the prior operator did not make the call. Then when I was transferred to the bellman, I received not a nice attitude.

Even though we did not stay here, we did spend two days visiting. The place is huge! Lots of choices for eating & shopping...even has Outlet shopping. There are also several options for gambling. I believe there are 3 or 4 different casinos offering slots & table games. We also took the family for the Axe throwing & Go Karts, both were awesome! We would definitely go back.

Driving in was great found parking right by yhr elevators. Ample parking. There was no line at the front desk... actually there were no lines to anything because it was very slow today. I've seen the place very busy but it was dead tonight. Gaming was fun the craps table was very enjoyable. Servers I've had good and bad. I tipped for every beverage and one lady was being a little sarcastic to me when she found out I wasn't going to be giving her black chips to and from going back to get drinks. Tough when it's slow.Rooms: The room was clean. No negatives. The tvs need to be upgraded. Smart TV so the kids have YouTube in the rooms. Also the room shapes are so weird. We have a 2 queen bed room but there is a super weird triangular wedge of wall space that gives the experience a really weird feeling.Nearby activities: There is so many things to do here if and when they are open. Guy fieri's restaurant. There is a hells kitchen here. Juniors cheese cakes make you want to be a fatty for a moment. There is wings Stop if you want crispy wings. Regina's pizza if you want a slice. If you're more hungry there's a subway so you can get your footlong on. Starbucks game m/trading card store call the vault. Oriental food out the wazoo. A bowling alley and soon a water park. If the drive wasn't long enough there is a competition length race kart track here. I heard there is ziplining even. And two great pools for the weekends in the summer. Restaurants for kids like sugar and fudruckers. The mall has food there too panda express mid. And some macaroon and candy stores. The massage chairs in the mall are very nice for a dollar.Food & drinks: Hells kitchenGuysDavid Burke steak houseGolden dragonRed lanternWing StopSubwayRegina pizzaSugarCalifornia pizza kitchenScorpion barFudruckersPanda expressJuniorsNoteworthy details: Come here have your fun and leave. If you stay here long you realize this is a money trap. Every dollar can be spent somewhere just forget the wallet and bring what you need to.

Went for bingo. Signs need to be updated.wish they would bring back the free soda. Do like u can use credit card for specials but be aware of gaming charges, they just recently posted signs.Cannot speak about the rooms and I find the food overpriced so much even if it's good cannot afford to try the restaurant.

The cost of the room was not commensurate with the experience we received (you can get rooms in Vegas for cheaper). The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious but some of the infrastructure needs to be updated - you could see holes in the wall, the shower wasn t strong, the AC was very loud, some outlets didn t work, no USB ports, you could hear into the room next to you. The restaurant we went to was beyond awful and inedible. The theater was very nice comfy seats, good sight lines, plenty of bathrooms. Parking was easy. I would come back just for a concert and stay and eat elsewhere.

I love Foxwoods anyway but it's definitely worth noting that I just called to confirm my reservation because my name has changed since the last time I needed to use my rewards/reserve a room... Bella was sooo kind to me on the phone, incredibly understanding, informative, bright and bubbly. She is an asset to the team at Foxwoods and I look forward to our visit even more now. Thank you Bella.

There is no chance I would ever come back to Foxwoods with Mohegan Sun being so close. They absolutely hate cigarette smokers, and provide no type of shelter or heat outdoors for them. The table games are overcrowded and slow. Their slot machines have some of the smallest highline payouts I ve ever seen. Hospitality for this resort casino is a one star all day long.
