I live right next to this mechanic, so when my car broke I went to him. He was very honest about my car, telling me I needed to scrap my car, not worth fixing. He then sold me two cars. On the lot he told me everything was in good condition. I asked about the timing belt and he said everything looks great . I assumed that meant he look, right? Nope two month later the car broke down in queens because of a timing belt. I called him, he told me he doesn t check his cars. He is also our mechanic so this statement is unforgivable because if we bought a used car we would take it to our mechanic before buying. We thought we skipped that step but we were very wrong!Do not buy from this place!

I ve known Jay Hoefer for 4 years. He runs the garage and he is an excellent mechanic, has sold me 2 Jeeps which he has taken great care of. He is reliable and honest.

Owner is extremely rude and temperamental as far as his used car inventory goes. Drove almost 2 hours to look at a car and got nothing but attitude when I wanted to thank him for his time because the vehicle was not what we were looking for. Would not recommend.

Jay is a great mechanic. Always let's you know price up front and is low cost and fair.
