Sam, Dillon, and the finance manager were all incredible. Gave me a great deal and had plenty of patience as I had to get some things figured out on my end for almost a week getting things situated. Would gladly work with them in the future, and plan on sending people here when I can.

I am a first-time buyer of a Volkswagen. It was an unexpected purchase that has turned out to be awesome. I moved to the New England area, and was uniquely equidistant between three different Dealerships. I chose this location due to other commitments I had in town. From the moment I walked into VW of Hartford, Arthur made me feel like I had been visiting this location for a decade. He was friendly, and thoughtful, and left a tremendous impression on me. He explained the service that was provided and informed me I was eligible for another warranty-covered service. I really appreciated his kindness.

Recently bought a vehicle at the Hartford vw superstore. My experience was nothing but pleasurable. Sam and Jake were exceptional, there was no pressure sales and they were very knowledgeable when it came down to my specific vehicle. The finance person was also straight forward and great and he did not try to sell me additional add on s. I would highly recommend them for your next car purchase. .

I love my VW. I designed, ordered and waited 9 months for my ID 4 to come. Since then I have had to leave it at VW to be repaired sometimes weeks at a time, most recently it has been in service for 3 months. I appreciate the Service department's diligence however my feedback is that unless I am calling on a weekly basis, I don't know what is going on with my car. I would appreciate, at minimum 1 update call a week even if it is to say, we are still running diagnostics. Ideally, I would like my car to work consistently.

The hallmark of an excellent team starts at the top, which at WW of Hartford begins with Sam Herman, Gen'l Mgr, who sets the tone. Kudos to sales rep Dillon and Dave, the Bus. Mgr. We purchased two (2) VW Atlas Cross Sport SEL R-line cars, within a 4-month period of time.

I had my appointment on Thursday November 30th, 2023 at 8:30 AM. I forgot the name of the man that helped me that morning but the customer satisfactory rating alone would bring this review to 5 stars. He seemed to be working with a new hire that day or just someone that didn t know how to drive a manual. I do feel however, that every person who goes and moves customers cars should know how to drive manual. Especially if they are still being manufactured by the company. Nonetheless, the information and customer service I ve been given was a delight.

We brought our car in to be serviced and due to their poor security, our car's catalytic converter was stolen while parked on their lot. They did absolutely nothing to help us or compensate for the theft, and after our car sat there for two weeks, we ended up having to drive the car without a catalytic converter off their lot to a small mechanic 30 minutes away to have it replaced. Throughout the whole process they rarely answered or returned phone calls. Atrocious customer service, and we will never use them again or recommend them.

I bought my Jetta back in 2018 from here, and just recently a Tiguan R line. Anthony was awesome when it came to buying my new Tiguan. I walked in only wanting to see that vehicle (I had done my research) and he didn t pressure or try to sway my decision at all. Really nice guy.

My salesperson Ty absolutely made the experience for me. He was courteous and knowledgeable about every aspect of the vehicle, and at no point did I feel pressured to buy anything that my heart wasn't set on. He made sure that I was 100 percent satisfied with my experience, and made follow-ups conversations that left me feeling assured I was taken care of. I will recommend people to VW of Hartford and specifically to Ty anytime I get the opportunity or inclination. Thanks again.

I recently had to get my Volkswagen Atlas serviced here and my experience was outstanding. I was super nervous walking in and not knowing what was wrong with my car or how much it would cost, but their manager, John, Alex, and Dave in parts were all super attentive to all my needs and concerns throughout the whole process. It made me feel reassured during an already stressful situation. Highly recommend going here if you need your car serviced!

I thought John was super helpful and informative when he called me about the recommended service for my car. I was welcomed pleasantly and checked out easily. It was my first time getting my VW serviced and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. We've had various Toyotas for over two decades and I've been very happy with that service so there was a standard set and John and his team really met and surpassed it.

Went in to have Ad Blue added to my car. They were out but looked up another parts shop nearby that had what I needed. Even though I didn't purchase it from them the Manager still proceeded to funnel the Ad Blue in my car at no extra costs. That's what I call above and beyond service.Plus I found out it's cheaper to get my oil changed there than economy oil, plus they will always top off my Ad Blue so this won't be an issue going forward. Heads up diesel car owners!Great service and friendly staff. What more could you ask for.

I came in to the service department with my Volkswagen Jetta because the driver side window was acting up, going up and down, I had no appts, and John Ramos was at the desk and helped me right away, took the car inside and he said that he lubricated it and it s fixed. Thank you for not making me come back with an appointment, I really appreciated .

Just bought a brand new Tiguan from Anthony DiNallo. He was awesome! Not pushy, very knowledgeable and friendly. He was with me every step of the way, and followed up to ensure that I had everything squared away. I feel very confident in my purchase and he went through everything very thoroughly and patiently answered my million questions! Stacey (in finance) was also great, she was organized, efficient and had us in and out in less than an hour. Best car buying experience so far, I would definitely recommend and return again in the future!

I made an appointment with John (service manager) to have a diagnostic check done on my VW Tiguan, because it felt wobbly and I heard a bang sound when driving and also to determine where the water is entering the vehicle, because there was water under the floor carpet. John told me the inspection was free, but it would cost me $148.50 to have the diagnostic check done, which I agreed to.I took the vehicle into the shop and handed it over to Rob, who later told me he has 10 years experience doing his job. First Rob called me and gave me an estimate for over $7,000 to do repairs on the vehicle, and I told him I don't have that money now and rather him take care of the water issues now. He told me that the water alone would cost me around $800 plus. I told Rob to go ahead and take care of the water, but shortly after (about 30 minutes) giving him the go ahead, I called him back and told him not to do the work, but Rob told me that they already started working on the vehicle When I went to pick up the vehicle, Rob charged me over $1,000 and said it includes the diagnostic check. Rob told me the vehicle is in good condition and fit for driving. On driving home, I noticed the wobbly feeling and called Rob when I got home. I asked Rob if he did the diagnostic check, he said no, and that they only did a visual inspection and took the vehicle for a ride I told him the vehicle still felt wobbly, and he told me to bring it back for tires, which would cost me well over $1,000 to replace all four. I didn't trust this guy, Rob, because I realized he was all about money and has no conscience or even cares for his customers.I took the vehicle to VW Vernon and paid approx. $220 for a full inspecting and diagnostic check. The results are that the vehicle has multiple safety issues (including structural issues) and shouldn't be driven on the roads or highways. I call John (service manager) and told him of my ordeal, and John said that I should bring the vehicle in so he can take a look at it. I didn't take the vehicle in, but I went and saw him in person to let him know that I wanted a refund for the diagnostic check that was not done. John told me that he will not give me a refund, because he told me to bring the vehicle for him to take a look at it. I guess John expects me to pay tow service or to put the vehicle on my back and take it to him?The water issues that Rob charged approx. $1,000 to address, I received a quote of under $600 to do the same Job People please, don't trust these people to do business with. They don't care about you, they only want your hard earned money.I will be posting the inspection reports shortly.CT Consumer Protection.....Heelllllp!!!

Anthony was Fantastic! You can tell he has a passion for the brand. He was upbeat, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Frank worked with me to ensure we both could come to an agreement that made us happy now and for future transactions. Stacey was also upbeat and knowledgeable and helped answer any and all questions through the finance process. Service VW because check engine light was on after getting oil leak fixed at different dealer in PA. VW of Hartford said car had significant oil leak from rear engine seal that would cost $3k plus tax after I paid them $175 for diagnostic. There has not been 1 drop of oil on cardboard I put under car (after driving and parking for 2 weeks). I have had real engine. seal leaks on other cars and this is not that. Feels like it s all about how they can get the most money from.

I bought a VW Alltrack this past week at VW of Hartford and I must say, I had such a great experience! First off, Ty was a great salesperson and he was extremely helpful. I never once felt pressured to purchase a car. He wanted to make sure that the car I ended up with was a good fit for me. He was patient and went over certain features multiple times with me until I felt comfortable. He was trustworthy and I felt that I was taken care of. I would recommend to any of my friends looking for a new car. Thanks Ty!!

Buying or leasing a car can be a dreadful process. More often than not, as soon as the negotiation starts, it feels like a high pressure deal where you re inevitably getting screwed somewhere in the process. I ve certainly experienced that, and feel as though I m on high alert whenever walking into a dealership, expecting it to be a less than fun experience. Ty Curry and the entire crew at VW of Hartford however, were so much different than that, and I now have a new favorite dealership to turn to.I emailed an inquiry about a VW Alltrack on a Sunday when they were closed, and decided to risk it and drive from Brooklyn, NY to Hartford first thing Monday morning not knowing if the car I was looking for was still available. Ty responded to the email as soon as they opened and we spoke on the phone as well on my way up. He said he d have the car ready for a test drive and even met outside to greet me upon my arrival. He was incredibly knowledgeable on the whole VW lineup, and jumped right in to show me a cool feature on the car I was driving that I knew nothing about. He could not have been a more genuinely nice person, and clearly had a real passion for his job.I knew the general price point I was looking at as well as the car I wanted to buy, which of course made the process pretty straight forward. Once we sat down, there was none of the BS that I ve experienced at other dealerships, and the back and fourth with the sales manager was quick and easy. We made a deal I was really happy with, and drove back to pick up my car after detailing a few days later.I also received a courtesy call the next day from Ty to make sure everything was perfect.I drove from Brooklyn two solid hours to avoid dealing with another NY/NJ dealership, and I couldn t be happier with that decision. With few exceptions, I ve found that buying a car outside of the immediate NYC area is a smart move, and I d absolutely do it again and would 100% recommend Ty Curry and VW of Hartford for your next car purchase.

I recently purchased 2 cars from them: 2021 gti and a 2023 id4.In 2021, I was searching for a car to replace one that was totaled. Vw Hartford had the price on the website, which was under msrp, and they were willing to negotiate a little with the price even further. I walked away feeling pretty good about the purchase, as it was really effortless. This played into the decision to order the 2023 id4 and request it from this dealer.When it was time to trade in the gti and get the id4, I was happy to have positive interactions with the staff regarding the reservation, shipping, delivery, and pickup process. I wasn t charged over msrp (unlike some dealers) and the pickup process was pretty easy. They kept me informed about the status of the car delivery (vw website wasn t updating consistently).I had a really positive experience with purchasing both cars and would recommend them! Though it s still under the valenti brand, this branch is far better than the mystic location. Totally worth the drive!

After having a tough time finding the GTI Autobahn I wanted on Long Island near my home, I found Tylon Curry at VW of Hartford, and he had to be the most attentive, customer-focused, pleasant car sales leaders with whom I have ever interacted. And I say this having owned several VWs, Porsches, Audis and Mercedes Benz. All great cars. But the customer experience rises and falls with the one you get from Sales and thereafter from Service. Ty got it done in such an engaging pleasant way. I can only imagine what his dealer's service department is like. They must be terrific too. We live more than 100 miles from Ty's dealership. He not only found the car I wanted; he drove it to my home. Ty Curry and VW Hartford have a lifelong customer from now on. Trust me. Ty's an Ace! And so's his company for hiring such an outstanding individual. JJK
