My first car was a Fiat 600 back in the 80s and I recently made my dream a reality. I purchased a convertible, a Fiat 124 Spider. I am beyond happy and extremely pleased with Valenti Hartford and the service Alex provided. Alex is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, warm and honest, if there is something he doesn't know or is unsure about, he tells you upfront and finds the answer for you. He is not pushy and wants you to make informed decisions, gives you options and time to decide. He made sure I was getting the best deal and I left the dealer totally satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend Valenti and Alex is a keeper :) Thank you!

If you're looking for a quick, efficient, and professional car buying experience go to Valenti Fiat and ask for Alfonso Lopez. I was there for 30 minutes and left with a financed Fiat 500x with the monthly payment that I wanted (haggle free) and he took care of calling my car insurance to switch vehicles for me and do the registration. A motivated dealer.Also, the service center is very clean and helpful. They'll work with you to get affordable and fair prices on repairs and tune ups.

I recently bought a 2016 Fiat 500X Trekking AWD from Valenti FIAT and have been very pleased. Ken Holder made the whole process of buying a car an enjoyable experience. Ken was easy to work with and was very knowledgeable about all the details of the car answering all my questions and concerns.Ken was also greatly helpful with all the paperwork and getting the car registered for me.I felt very good about working with Ken and Valenti Fiat and have been very pleased with my purchase.

My girlfriend, Fran, had just gotten her Connecticut driver's license and was ready to buy a car. Her heart was set on one of those adorable little Fiats. But, no used Fiats were available anywhere within driving distance. The fact was we d never even sat in one, let alone driven one. We decided to visit the nearest Fiat dealer to get a closer look at Fran s dream car.Valenti Maserati-Alfa Romeo-Fiat dealerships in Hartford CT was 15 minutes away. When we arrived we saw dozens of beautiful Maseratis and Alfas and a few of the larger Fiats but not one little 500. We wandered into the Maserati showroom. No one was around. A door opened and this pleasant looking casually dressed guy walked out and asked us if we were being helped. His name was Geno Douthit. We asked about 500s. It turned out they weren t expecting a shipment of Fiat 500s for several weeks. But," said the pleasant Geno, We do have a used 500e, the electric one. It s out back. We just got it in. It s not cleaned up yet. But, if you just want to see what it s like to sit in one the electric s interior is identical except for the dashboard configuration. We took him up on his offer.About 3 minutes later, a beautiful mint condition silver 2018 500e came driving out of the service area. Geno invited us to get in and see how it felt. It was snug but not cramped. Comfortable with just tons of personality. Then Geno asked, Hey, have you ever driven an electric car? No, neither of us had. Hold on a minute. He went back inside and came out with a license plate which he attached to the back of the car. Listen, I know you re not looking for an electric but the basic feel of the car is like the fuel models. Take it for a spin. Make sure both of you drive it. Oh, the acceleration is quicker than gas engines and the brakes are sensitive. Okay! Fran went first. She loved everything about it. When it was my turn, I fell in love, too. It is FUN to drive.Geno never once twisted even our pinkies. He dealt with us with an innate enthusiasm and zero pressure or schmooze. It was almost as if he wasn t a car salesman (Maseratis are his primary focus, ftr) but rather a really nice car guy hanging around to help just for the sheer joy of it. He was amazed when we told him his low key graciousness had paid off. We were buying the 500e.If car salesmen (and women) were more like Geno, there d be no stereotypes about shady smooth talking arm twisting automobile salespeople. We love our Fiat 500e and we love knowing you, Geno.Oh, and we named the car after you Geno Bambino.Thanks for making everything so very easy and totally stress free, sir. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Amazing experience purchasing a vehicle through these guys. I personally dealt with Alex, due to logistics it was difficult to see the car in person, but Alex made sure I was completely comfortable and satisfied with the vehicle before proceeding with the purchase.Very professional, reliable and efficient. 10/10 would purchase from them again!

Alex J from Valenti is awesome. This is the second car I bought at him/Valenti. Both times the process was very smooth. Not the normal car dealership: no pressure, nothing hidden, no surprise charges. Alex is willing to text/email/call versus other sales people from other places who try to force you to come to a dealership to talk. Both times Alex had to find me a vehicle that matched my needs and he was quick to locate a vehicle at the price I wanted. And while there is always a lot of paperwork that comes with buying a car, I was in and out of the dealership in less than an hour. Highly recommend Alex J from Valenti.

I recently purchased a fiat 500x trekking and from Valenti. It was a great,stress free experience. I had Alex Mandel as my sales person. He was very professional and knowledgeable and answered all questions and concerns. Very happy with the purchase and the experience. Just bought my Hummer H2 from Valenti and could not be happier with the purchase and my overall experience! My sales representative was Alex Johndro. If you come by to purchase a vehicle from here, you will be pleased! But MUST ask for Alex. I came to make the purchase all the way from Dallas,TX and Alex made it easy and very smooth for me to purchase. Even picked me up from and to the airport! No question about it that Valenti should be the only dealership to buy from in Hartford,CT!

This is my second vehicle purchased at Valenti of Hartford. The first time I had such a great experience with Alex Johndro that we wanted his help with our second purchase. I got a Fiat 500 Sport for the first one and then traded it in on a 124 Lusso Spider. The Spider was slightly used with 12K miles but did have some finish issues. Alex was on top of it all the way. He remains available whenever I have questions. He knows I will be working my way up the Alpha Romeo and maybe beyond!

Buying a car should be a happy experience and Valenti's representative, Simon Green made sure that occurred. We were unsure of what we were going to do, and he had extraordinary patience, knowledge and creativity.Most importantly, even after the deal was done he remained connected and addressed all our needs.In addition to Simon everyone we dealt with at Valenti was great.We are not from Connecticut, but may very well travel back for our next new car purchase.

I just purchased a Fiat Pop from Valenti Fiat- very happy! Alex sold the car to me--he is very knowledgeable. He listened to what I needed and help me find a car to suit those needs. Once I had purchased the car, he was very thorough in explaining its features to me and making sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Steve in finance took his time to explain the numbers to me--no surprises, everything was in plain language. The Valenti Team made car buying the way it should be- not confusing, and a happy, red carpet experience! Highly recommend.

This is the 4th car that my family has purchased from Alex Johndro at Valenti Fiat. He is professional, knowledgeable, detail oriented and personable. Alex took time to explain every feature, go over each setting and answer all questions to make sure that we were comfortable in our cars before driving away. We just got our second vehicle from Alex Jondro at Valenti Fiat. After an excellent experience getting our new Fiat in 2019 it only made sense to see if he had something that would "fit the bill" - and he did! After test driving a very nice 500X we decided to get a low mileage pre-owned Jeep Renegade instead - and we are very happy with it and everyone at Valenti. Great place to get a car!

I purchased a 2017 Fiat 500e (electric) from Simon Green at Valenti Fiat. I could not be happier with my experience, from the initial contact, all the through to signing and delivery! I was not sure what to expect, never having bought from any dealership before. Simon was knowledgeable, clear and honest with me throughout the whole process. This was a long-distance purchase (I'm in Boston) and Simon offered a video walkaround that I could review and share with my wife. He pointed out minor flaws, including a small dent, which he had removed. He communicated with me regularly and made me feel comfortable at every step. Here's what's amazing: Simon offered to deliver the car to my house, which is no small task, because the 500e electric range meant that he had to drive slowly and stop to re-charge for a few hours! I could not recommend Simon and Valenti Fiat more highly!

Sales staff is great here. They are 100% not supported by the service staff. I bought a FIAT 500x here 10 days ago. It has a transmission timing issue. I was refused a service appointment even with a new warranty on the car. FIAT USA says the warranty is not transferrable to another dealership. I have asked three times now to speak to the General Manager of Valenti FIAT and been refused by the receptionist. Stay away from this service location for your car.

I've been looking for a specific Fiat Spider for a while - a certain interior and exterior color and a manual transmission. I saw it at Valenti Fiat and met with Ken Holder to discuss the car. In about two hours, everything was done and I picked the car up later the next week. Ken was helpful and informative and told me he drives the same car! I recommend to anyone that they seek out Ken Holder for assistance at Valenti Fiat.

Second car bought here - 2020 Fiat Spider Abarth. I worked with Simon who was patient with me as he taught me how to drive a manual. By the time I left the lot, I was able to get the car home quite easily and with a great deal. Great crew here, these guys definitely have a customer for life.

Just purchased a new Fiat 500 from them and it was quite the smooth experience. Never once did I feel uncomfortable through the buying process and the test drive was a breeze. Their consultant Alex J was very knowledgeable and friendly and made the whole process easy. I would recommend Valenti Fiat to anyone.

Just bought a 2020 Fiat 124 Spider Lusso after leasing for 25+ years. I absolutely love this car!!! I am looking forward to warmer weather and driving with the top down! The sales experience was amazing thanks to Alex Johndro. Alex was patient, honest, not pushy and helped me get into right car for the price I wanted. If you re in the market for a car, go to Valenti and be sure to ask for Alex Johndro!

This is my first review for the team at Valenti Fiat, but I've worked with them for at least 5 years now on a dozen or so cars for friends, clients, and relations. I also work in the business and don't often find cause to give praise.With that said, I cannot recommend Joe, Bob, Randy, Steve, the Alexes, and the team at large at Valenti enough.I've never had a concern sending people that matter to me to them; and, having just purchased my own car from them in the form of a pre-owned Fiat, I can see why.All numbers were provided over the phone/online, and the process to pick up the car took no more than 10 minutes and was appropriately distanced.If you're wondering if an Italian car is right for you, ask them. If you're wondering who to buy from, give them a call. I assure you, they'll impress you.

I recently purchased a Fiat 124 Spider from Alex Mandel at Valenti. He was always friendly, considerate, and *extremely* patient with my sometimes neurotic tendencies. I m happy I lucked into him and would next time seek him out, if ever I should be in the market again. Five stars for Alex.

Alex was amazing and went above and beyond today helping me with my new fiat! My mom just bought one from him last week while we were hunting for mine and we both could not be happier! It was my first time buying a car and he made it easy and answered all questions and he knew his stuff! He was easy to reach in person, text and when ever we called he was quick to respond! If you go to look or to buy go see alex! Amazing guy!

I have had the BEST service at Valenti. In comparison to a really not great experience at my local Fiat dealership. Randy and Bob in the Service Department were wonderful to work with. They made the information understandable for a "regular person". They were accommodating and overall it was just a great experience. Thanks!

****UPDATED**** 7 months post purchase.This is a complete disappointment - After having such exceptional service with the purchase of the vehicle, I quickly learned that was just to get me in a car and out of the door. I have had some issues with my fiat 500x (hard idle and USB connecting to my iPhone). I called my sales rep and service department. IF I have to leave a message for my sales rep, he never gets back to me. I end up having to call several times until he answers. Service was unable to determine why my car is idling hard after having it for an entire day. They advised when I came in for an oil change at 10k miles they will take another look. Well, my oil change light came on at 7k - not 10. I called in concern and my sales rep made a mention that I must be driving a lot - not sure why that matters? There was no explanation as to why my oil change is coming due at 7k vs. 10k like they originally stated. He asked if I have been enjoying the car overall, and I told him I was not very happy with the car as it takes way more gas then they eluded to and I wouldn't be getting another one once my lease was up. His response was "different strokes for different folks" - SERIOUSLY?? Basically felt like he didn't care, so he shouldn't have asked if I like the car. I was told to make my appointment for an oil change, so I did. In doing so, I asked if this would be free, as my sales rep told me it would be at the time of purchase. I was told it would not be free (nothing was written in my file). I called back and left messages for my sales rep with no response. I finally got him on the phone to be told he would have to pull my file and see if that was written in there and he would email me back (I was leaving the country for 4 days). That was almost 2 weeks ago and I have still not had a response. I am very dissatisfied with the service provided once my purchase was complete and would not recommend this car or dealership to anyone. Same old car dealership gimmicks.********************************************************************I went into Valenti Fiat on a whim, on a rainy day, to check out a Fiat. I had all intentions of NOT buying a car and going to do some comparison of other vehicles. When I went in, I was greeted by Alfonso Lopez. ....The customer service was outstanding. I have never purchased a new vehicle, with insurance, tags and check for my old vehicle in less than 3 hours! ......I was unable to get my car detailed due to time constraints and Alfonso advised he would schedule a later date to return - also advising because it was a rainy day, it would be better to have it done another (sunny) day.

I purchased a Fiat 500 Abarth from Valenti Fiat and my experience was absolutely great. Sales Representative Alex Johndro and Sales Manager Joe St. Amand were professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with (unlike many dealership personnel that act like sharks trying to make a sale at any cost).The entire process from test driving to filling out paperwork went very smoothly and was free of the hassles commonly found at dealerships.If you've never considered a Fiat before and you're shopping the market, you'll be doing a disservice to yourself if you pass by this dealership.
