I have been waiting for nearly 3 hours in the rain for the tow truck to get to my location. I was told it would take 30-60 minutes for them to be here. After an hour and a half, I called back and they said they sent their truck somewhere else first, but would be there in 20-25 minutes. I then called back again after waiting 2 hours and 45 minutes and they said that they cancelled the tow. No one contacted me or anything to advise me that they decided this. To add to this, one of their tow trucks drove by my and I stopped them after waiting for 2 hours and said they were never sent to my location. The rudest and most unprofessional company I have dealt with.UPDATE.Reno s advised me that AAA cancelled the tow. I then call AAA and they said that absolutely did not happen and the order was still open. So Reno s lied on top of just not showing up.

AVOID RENO AT ALL COST! They unfortunately are affiliated with AAA but it does NOT mean that they provide the level of professionalism and care to your vehicle. They are spiteful, rude and unprofessional. I had a window door slammed in my face and threats of towing my car to the wrong location which they purposely did and I had to contact AAA for them to fix it. They also cause damage to my vehicle and failed to communicate that something occurred to our vehicle after being on their lot for 2 weeks. Their service department is a joke. They transfer you to them knowing that the service department doesn't show up till 5p or 6p. No communication, very rude, and cost me more money getting my car towed there. AVOID. If you have AAA demand another tow company

It is shocking that a company like this is in business at all. They won't be for long. Everything about them is a joke, they are horrible, which is why all of their customers choose other towing services

THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED IN MY LIFE!!!! THEY GVE YOU THE RUN AROUND, TOOK THEM 2 WEEKS TO GIVE ME AN LABOR ESTIMATION ON MY CAR WHILE HOLDING MY CAR ON THE LOT. THEN AFTER WAITING SO LONG.WHEN PICKING IT UP MY CAR, IT HAD A MYSTERIOUS FLAT. I HAD TO SHOWN UP MORE THEN 6 TIMES TO FIGURE WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH MY CAR BECAUSE THEY NEVER TELL YOU WHATS GOING ONTHE MECHANIC IS NEVER THERE. THEY TELL LOTS OF LIES, SO IF THEY TELL YOU SOMETHING GET IT IN WRITING, TEXT, OR EMAIL ABOUT ANY UPDATE OR DIAGNOSIS ON YOUR CAR.THE SECRETARY WOMEN!!!! SO RUDE AND USED EXTREMELY PROVOCATIVE LANGUAGE WITH ME, I DONT KNOW HOW THEY ARE ASSOCIATED WITH TRIPLE AAA.DONT SEND YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU HAVE CHOICE OR ANY WORK DONE HERE !!!!

Jorge Gonzalez showed up and towed my car with a blown radiator faster than emergency services could have responded, he made the entire situation much less stressful and was highly professional.

I used Reno s for a long distance tow from CT to FL. My car was received in perfect condition which, at the end of the day, made the hassle of dealing with the towing service worth it.Long distance tows are only handled by the owner, which was a detail I did not realize and find to be an issue until the car was in transit. The owner was traveling for business at the time, and it was difficult to get in touch with him at times. When calling the office, the service representatives were quite rude and were unable to help me locate my car or advise on the delivery date. Throughout the process, I had no insight on where my car was or when it would be received aside from a 3 day window. I was told I would receive a call from the driver when he was 2 hours away. I got a call from the driver when he was 5 hours out, and no call for the 2 hour notice. I received a call when he was 5 minutes away asking for directions. I had to personally direct the driver to my location, even though he was provided with my address and had access to GPS. The car arrived very dirty, but what more can you expect from such a long tow.Overall, the car arrived undamaged and I am very thankful. With my experience, I would not recommend the company or use them again in the future.

To start the drivers were well mannered and professional but the women in the office were extremely rude. They called me about an hour after getting towed and said ummm you didn t pay my driver . I explained that I had cash with me there and was never asked for payment so I assumed I d be billed for it. She then asked me for card info over the phone which I declined and said I had cash already pulled for them. She continued to give me a hard time and sent the driver to me to pick up the cash and then the women in the office overcharged me for the price I had previously been given before my vehicle was towed. Someone needs to teach the office staff some manners in customer service, I do not recommend them at all

Reno's is the absolute best as far as a crew of first responders putting your safety first and under standing the importance of having reliable transportation in every move they make to support you in the community that is Hartford, Connecticut. I know a good man when He sees ME and doesn't size me up and figure out how to take advantage and make the most money off of my traumatic event but care and offer anything I could possibly want or need to keep my vessel a float. These individuals are astounding in a kind of genius only people of the trade realize, know, a layman does not understand fully and doesn't have to. These extremely efficient hard working individuals, working smarter not harder every day, are the quintessential in hospitality and customer service. Do not let the truck fool you. These guys are awesome. I would lay down my own life for any one, as the founder did for me, 1999. Thank you Reno's Family.

Called them for an emergency tow because they are 1.5 miles from my location and they said it would be 90 min. 3+ hours later and they still are not here. They have been saying they will be here in 10 minutes for 2 hours. I wouldn't call them again if they were towing me for free!Edit: 2 years later you respond to this review? I guess this is evidence of the validity of my review.

I had a great experience with Renos. I wad in an accident over the summer and I called AAA for a tow. Reno's came to tow the car and suggested I have it towed there. I did then went online and read reviews and gout a little nervous. However they did an excellent job fixing the extensive damage to the car and charged comparable to all the other shops I called. It took a few days longer than expected to get my car back but overall I am very happy with the work and would take my vehicle there again. Everyone was also very friendly and responsive.

Twice in past two months Reno's came thru for me with a flatbed tow to dealer in Wallingford.For starters staff are polite, considerate and professional. The flatbed tow went smoothly. Dealer staff described driver as "careful' and "knew what he was doing".Second tow Driver texted before arriving (on time) and tow went seemlessly with no issues at all.I have really good luck with this Company and wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

when you witness one of the tow drivers engage in illegal activity like dumping a car that was pulled out of an accident where it was a hit an run to property ..with the car owner so he can take the plate off an abandon it on a city street you realize you would NEVER use this company

Been waiting for hours for my tow ... they are aware I have no other vehicle the lady hung up on me and was extremely Rude .... I used their App and their contact number for the driver and couldn t even get a word out she says the guy is coming ... relax ten mins. That was 2 hours ago !!! Would never use this company again and I ll spread the word. Terrible for business

I've had my vehicle serviced at Reno's for several years. Always great service, pricing, and quality work. The office staff and Peggy always treat me with respect. I trust Renos with all of my family's vehicles. They never disappoint.

AMAZING!!! I used Reno's through my road side assistance and Brandon showed up about an hour before estimated time and also continually communicated with me about his ETA. Brandon did a super good job backing my car up into my difficult driveway and was so sweet. I would recommend and use Reno's again.

WORST TOWING COMPANY EVER.POOR SERVICERUDE PERSONALUNPROFESSIONAL SERVICENASTY QUALITY SERVICEGOLD DAGGER MANAGEMENTSELFISH COMPANYThey just care about the money not the situation they just want to take advance not caring about the cars with the actions of a management would have break the car I have a experienced today December 26th 2018 it wasn't the driver it was his supervisor or manager or whoever poor quality person who was on the phone the girl try the one on the phone but I guess the manager wanted to tow the car at all cost for couple of dollars very poor service the tow truck driver realized it then management he is very greedy it seems like he's desperate for the money signs win the holidays. DON'T USE THIS SERVICE PLACE AT ALL, YOU WILL BE TRULY DISAPPOINTED AND YOU WILL LOOSE MONEY. YOU GET FROM ME -100 STARS.

I had my car get towed there. When I went to pick it up the next day,of course, most of my property is missing from it...They suck, They're RUDE And WORST Of all They are THIEFS. Definitely do not recommend them. Currently filing a claim against them.

I took my 2006Fiat 500 to put front foglights bar the whole bumper had to come down Reno's is the best. I always take my vehicle here for everything they are the best and wouldn't go anywhere else

I give my car for repair 4 month ago they always say next week so guys. They fix my car but not perfect so always problems. Accidentally locked my keys in my car and this was the only local place available to help... They helped me out rather quickly, however they didn t have the proper tools and damaged my car (cosmetically). Ripped the weatherstripping of my door and put a small gash in the plastic. And they charged me $53.

The tow truck arrived within 30 minutes after calling AAA. The tow trucker driver, Brandon, was extremely courteous and friendly while towing my vehicle (and me) the 45-minute drive to my Subaru dealer. Brandon transformed my mood after my accident from frantic to calm in no time! This guy deserves a raise!!

Dropped my truck 3 feet off of bed and caused extensive damage to the driveshaft, driveway, and bumper. They could of seriously hurt somebody! 6 weeks later they haven't paid and they're manager Mirza continues to lie. Their towing contract with AAA should be revoked! STAY AWAY THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU!

Terrible horrible despicable customer service. I do not understand how this place has been running for this long. I was unfortunately stuck with this company during a match through AAA. TWICE. I had to call in directly to make sure I am never matched with Reno's again. Ever!! I will cancel my membership before I use Reno's!

It was about 10 p.m. on a Saturday of September my car was on I-84 West exit 48 49 where my car broke down yes I did leave my car abandoned but went back 7am in the morning and did not seen my vehicle was not between those two exit so I finally contact local police station in Hartford CT and I was told Reno had my vehicle so when I went there personally to get it towed from Reno which there located in Maple Ave in Hartford CT to my home which was East Hartford ct I was told that the vehicle wasn't registered and I could not get it for some reason and finally once everything was good I finally got it towed to my mechanic when my mechanic received the vehicle it only had three tires but since the car was abandoned by the police noted for some reason my tire and rim was removed from the vehicle when called and spoke to a representative there they were very rude disrespectful and very unprofessional I believe they're frauds and do what they like to do which is not fair to us consumers who would use them in any way I would not recommend them to no one in my family or friends because I believe there thiefs an fraudulent

Had my car towed there after an accident. Staff was SUPER nice and the work they did was excellent. When I picked up the car it was like I was picking up for the first time at the dealership!!!

They held my car for over a week with no diagnostic. I had to physically drive there to get answers and when i saw my car it was scratched and they claimed the scratch was already there. I will not be going back there again.

My Car was towed Mercedes dealer for service by Reno's Towing. After "dumping" my car at Mercedes lot (as stated by Service Dept at Mercedes).I found that two pair of expensive sunglasses were missing from my vehicle and my MP3 player, My audio jacks that are attached to vehicle were attempted to be snatched from glove box. Joe supervisor was very rude when told of the complaint and blamed me for having flat tires and needing my car towed in the first place. NEVER USE THIS SCUMBAG COMPANY

My truck got stolen a this Reno compay had it in impound.sorry to say but pray to god that this peoole dont tow and hold your car The black lady( im not racist) made my life a living hell .she is the meaniest lady i ever delt with.Didnt matter how nicely i spoke she was after me and some more storage fees.Even though i paid to get my car out.She want it to put it back in impound. pls. God help this lady,change that black spyder heart.

total idiots...they lie about the travel time to the pick up site; they lie about the time they said they arrived; the deliver the car to the wrong place; they lie about the time they will correct their error; they lie about the final delivery time. then, they say 'we had a very busy day here.' they deserve to be slammed.
