Made an appointment on Saturday to have all 4 tires replaced. Showed up for my appointment on Monday to get them put on, and was told upon arrival that they don't order tires until you show up to your appointment without a deposit. I was never told this on the phone when I made my appointment, or was asked at any time to put money down towards the tires. Had to wait for the tires to arrive once I was there and then the time it took to put them on. POOR BUSINESS. If it is your policy to require a deposit before ordering tires then COMMUNICATE that with the customer so they can pay a deposit up front or coordinate to be at the location for hours while you wait for tires to arrive.

It was an exquisite performance with all employees at this location. EspecI definitely will use the location and also tell my associates that this location is costumer friendly. Enough said give them a raise.Sincerely keith another satisfied costumer.

I have been using this Midas shop for my 2002 Buick for over 10 years now. Most recently in the past few years, I have been very happy with the service. They go out of their way to help me, and do a great job very quickly. I have been at shops that friends' recommended to me, and it takes days to get my car into the shop to be worked on, and days to get it back. They do major work done on my car, in one day. I LOVE EASY! Highly recommend. Carlos will coordinate to your schedule. I always go to this Midas for my emissions tests. This time I went on a Wednesday morning and I guess I picked the perfect time because someone was just leaving and they were able to take me right away. Fastest emissions I've ever had. Staff was friendly, waiting room was clean and comfortable.

Went to this location thinking I needed a starter. Turns out just needed a new battery. They preceded to put the new starter despite the fact that it was not the problem. Had to pay a hefty bill for something not needed. Called them and they blamed me for thinking that is what I needed. I am not a mechanic and trusted them. Very rude customer service.

I needed a headlight changed they did it with no issues at all. Didn t even charge me much Nissan in Hartford wanted to charge me $125 just to change my headlight because they claimed it was a part they had to takeoff Midas did it less than five minutes with no issues I highly recommend Midas. You guys are awesome.

I always go here for my emissions test. They are super quick and friendly. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. All services I've had done here on my Honda have been affordable and timely.

I have gone to this shop for various issues with my car. They have found the issues and fixed them as needed. I appreciated the upfront explanation of costs and reasonable price. I feel like I trust this shop to diagnose what is wrong and what needs to be fixed.

I love coming to this particular store on New Britain Ave. All the staff and technicians are courteous and professional. Today I went in to have my car inspected because I was hearing a weird, grating noise when I drove it. I walked in without an appt. The receptionist let me know there would be a wait, which was fine because I wanted to know what was causing the noise in my car. After a short wait, I received a text message with a link to the report from the inspection. I noted that all was well and it wasn t the brakes which I had thought were the issue. A few minutes later the technician came into the waiting area and explained what the issue was. I was not charged at all for the inspection as the issue was very minor and they were able to quickly fix it! I was so happy nothing serious was wrong! I will always come to this particular store and would love to show my appreciation to the staff! The customer service here is top quality and the technicians are skilled and knowledgeable! I had my brakes done at this store in 2021 and they are still going strong! Thank you Midas for making my day again!

I should have made this review much earlier. I went to Midas for my last oil change about 2 and a half months ago. They told me I had a MAJOR oil leak, needed new brakes, and rear struts. My car is a 2001 no one replaces the rear struts. The brakes are less than a year old and don t you think if I had a major oil leak I would see oil actually leaking on the asphalt. Thank god I have my father helping me because if they see someone they think lacks knowledge on vehicles they will try to scam you to make money. You can image my total anger when now that 2 and a half months has passed and I get a new oil change from someone else they broke my dipstick and said nothing ($150 to replace). I will never go to Midas again they are scammers and completely careless. Avoid at all costs.

I brought our Nissan Rouge today to Midas West Hartford for a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation. Not only are they very reasonable in their price model, but the staff is very pleasant, and does not try to upsell non-required services. I called about doing tire rotation and balancing. Lady on the phone was rude, not professional and lazy. She said how she can't give me a quote because they NEED TO SEE THE TIRES FIRST. It was really weird but I said ok. When I got over there, without looking at my car or my tires at all, she said how it's going to be $160. Ridiculous... She waisted my time and tried to rip me off. She could tell me this information over the phone, but no, she wanted me there because a lot of people will say yes because they want to do it after making an appointment and taking their time to get there. WELL, NOT ME.

*Updated 11/14/22- bumped to 5 stars for taking feedback on the wheelchair access to the lobby, glad to see it. Decided to swing by for emissions around 8:15am since I was not in a rush to work. Again, friendly service at the desk and from the mechanics. All in all it took around 15 minutes, I would recommend this place as it has exceeded expectations from last time.

Great service. They gave recommendations as to all other services needed. Front desk Lady was very pleasant. Amazing staff and Speedy service. Very pleased. Will be my service provider for my vehicle

I needed to have my engine checked for a leak. Everyone else wanted 1-2 week wait by appointment and at least $150 for a quick diagnostic. Midas was able to check out my engine the same day I called AND charged nothing because luckily there was no real issue. Thank you Midas! I will definitely be returning in the future.
