I love this place! Went to this shop for the first time today to have a front and rear camera installed. Everyone was friendly, they have a place to sit and watch tv while you wait and a bathroom close by. They installed my system in just over an hour and they did a professional job. I will definitely tell all my family and friends about this place. Thanks for a great experience.

Does your vehicle's stock sound system sound " ho hum?" Pay a visit to Jo-Di's to put the "Wow" in your sound and have it fully integrated to look stock. Love my new Bronco...but the sound left a lot to be desired. Jo-Di's knowledgeable staff put together an awesome system that fit the budget. The install techs did a flawless install. I highly recommend a visit.

I went here to have my 2013 Ford Fusion radio upgraded from its original to the sync 3 system with apple car play etc and a JBL amp. The entire process was wonderful i worked with Mrs.Jo-Di personally and she was polite and gave me great customer service every time whether it was in person or over the phone. I am ecstatic to have my apple car play now and Bluetooth features working properly now as i had issues with the original model as I couldn t hear or speak with the bluetooth on the car and it would skip my music (no longer a problem now). I highly recommend them for any work you may want on your car radio or speakers etc.

I ve been back and forth with this alarm company and my mechanic for several months. After installing the alarm system with this company, my vehicle continuously had battery issues. We ve continuously expressed the issue with the alarm company, and they d continuously point the finger to the mechanic and company of where we bought the vehicle. We bought this car in perfect condition, straight off the lot (GMC 2015 SAVANA VAN). Though we procceded to go to the mechanic and have the battery changed two times before we realized that the mechanic obviously wasn t the issue. Again, we expressed the issue with the company & still they said it was the mechanics fault and again... We brought the car back to the mechanic & they told us that it was the alarm company that did a lousy job & therefore that was the reason the battery kept dying. Tired of the constant back and forth and money going down the drain, we removed the alarm system and changed the battery one last time. After the alarm system was finally removed and the new battery was installed, we stopped having issues that we were having before hand (shutting down randomly, needing to be jump started, etc) with the car. It s been several months now talking to Jodi and her employees with no help on coming to a conclusion with what should be done from here foward. I am constantly driving back and forth from East Hartford to West Hartford to Jodi s & the mechanic in Berlin CT. I don t have the time, energy, or money to continuously waste. 7/11/2023, I went to the mechanic and had them write up an evaluation on the car and the work that he s done on it (including the issue with the alarm system). I also called Jodi right after, where I expressed my concerns with the first person who picked up, Anthony. I originally asked for a manager or supervisor, but Anthony said she was talking another call and that he could handle whatever it was that I needed . After hearing about the situation, Anthony offered a reinstallation but we expressed that we weren t really comfortable with reinstalling because of all the issues we ve had to deal with when working with this company but we would like to request a refund & would be able to provide information on behalf of the mechanic expressing their concerns and how the alarm system company is at fault. Anthony then put me on hold, and transfer me to Jodi, the owner. Jodi, did not introduce her self but instead started off saying, we ve already talked about this. I ve already told you that it s the mechanic fault, and if that mechanic can t fix it then you should go to a different mechanic . I ve then expressed to her that she is now speaking to a different person, so reinterate herself. (This back and forth issue has been happening with my mother & father, who are foreigners that are not very fluent in english and Jodi, the owner. ). Throughout the conversation with Jodi, I get absolutely nothing out of the conversation.. No help, nothing. Just extreme disrespect and bad customer service. Me and Jodi, begin aguring, she continuously says that it s the mechanic fault and does not wanna have a conversation. Just wants to let her statement be known and that s that, nothing more. I told her that I no longer have time to keep going back and forth and driving back and forth. She didn t even introduce herself, I don t have any clue who i m talking to and when I expressed that.. She says, I don t either, who are you? you don t even sound like the same person I was talking to before there s much more that happened but unfortunately there s a character limit .I will no longer work with Jodi and her scam of a company. She is horrible, and extremely unprofessional and I suggest those of you who think of going to her to go elsewhere, to people who will value your concerns and issues. People who who won t waste your time, energy, money or take advantage of you & who will be mindful of their mistakes and take responsibility for it. Instead of being disrespectful, unprofessional and consistently pointing fingers at others.

I always come here. Jodi is a wonderful woman. The service is exceptional. There prices are great and most of all they have top made products. If you want a family owned business this is the place to go. They also have Smart Start here .

I have nothing but kind words for Jo-Di's. I have had work done on 3 cars and the work is top notch. Jodi is one of the kindest persons I have ever dealt with. Very professional and knowledgeable. The installation staff really do a great job. I like how after the install they take the time to show you how to operate your new equipment. I recently mentioned to Jodi that my woofer wasn't hitting as hard as I thought it would and she immediately had the techs look in to the it and fixed the problem at no charge and now my system is hitting hard. They all work hard to give you what you want and need to have a great sounding system. Anthony even helped me with in issue unrelated to car audio on my vehicle. I went to a mechanic and had it checked and Anthony was on point. That shows me that they care about the customers well being as well. I let a friend listen to my system, and he wanted to do his the same way, so I took him to Jo-Di's and they hooked him up nice. If you're into car audio and want a nice clean sounding system this is the place to go. I will continue to bring my cars to Jo-Di's for all my car audio needs. And I will also recommend this place to anyone I know in the market for car audio upgrades.

Not a good experience, went in to get an amplifier and subwoofers connected they connected it wrong and blue one of my subs, than they wanted me to buy a new sub off them at half price. They blue the sub but wanted me to pay for it. I will never go there again, and very unprofessional rude . I was there with my 6 year old and they threatened me with the cops because I was up set at the fact that they wanted me to pay for there mistake. Stay away from this Jodi s in west Hartford

I am beyond satisfied with the work Jodi s completed on my car. I would highly recommend them. They helped me out and guided me the right way. I wouldn t recommend going else where as they have warranty for their parts and labor that many places wouldn t offer. They will give you their honest opinion as if it would be their own car. Many places would allow you buy the parts and do the labor without giving you the best satisfaction. With Jodi s you get a honest opinion and what the outcome would be of what the parts you want to buy would give you. They knew exactly what I was looking for! Beyond satisfied!Thank you!You guys have a amazing team!

Absolutely fantastic! Reasonably priced great sounding speakers. Bought a set of speakers for a friend as a gift for Christmas and she lost the gift card to pay for the installation! A big box store would have told me I was out of luck but Jo-Di looked everything up and honored the lost card. Happy to support such great local small businesses!

I'm very pleased with my experience at Jo Di's in West Hartford. The SiriusXM installation was excellent and the staff was professional. Jo Di went out of her way to get answers to my operational questions from the radio distributor, and then followed up with me to make sure I was all set. Excellent customer service.

Came in with questions regarding electronic wiring. The owner boss-lady and technician that assisted me were beyond helpful. In addition to answering my questions, they gave me some parts for free of charge. I was so surprised by the gesture, I ended up coming back and suggested to pay after I had a follow-up question. Family owned, professional and helpful - I would return for future projects.

Will NEVER give them my money again. The lady is rude and has HORRIBLE customer service. She tells you one price and when u get there it s another. When I confronted her she denied it after one of her workers had to correct the pricing which she charged an extra 30 bucks! She was very rude when I told her I didn t appreciate it and I let her know she needs better service and she said she didn t. She charged me for Alpine speakers but they installed JBL instead of her asking was that ok she just did what she wanted along with my back up camera which was installed where the lines where in the sky smh. She says she stands by her work but how when it s nothing but customers being robbed with this so called taxes I m done with them even her workers could careless when I asked why no one called to see if I wanted the speakers. When I asked her to check the book for what I asked for she kept saying no just don t do it I learned my lesson. This company is all about their money and could careless about what you want as the customer!

Had my car in there for a remote starter and when we went to pick it up I had to pay the deposit because we forgot receipt. You can't get your car worked on without deposit, and they had no proof of my money I already gave them.How do you do business like that they took my 150. Bucks before hand and argued that I need my receipt, I went home, and tomorrow will go and get my deposit back! Not ever going there again! My fianc�e was a veteran/marine and was so upsetting he had to waot outsideand was so upset

I stopped by to get a quote. Staff were very informative and pleasant. Didn't buy because my problem is expensive, but the solution offered is one I want to pursue when I can pay for it.

First time coming to Jo di s. Came in to get some work done on my mother s car. They treated us like family!! Great service, great prices!! I would recommend to anyone who needs tints, audio work, starter kits, accessories, or just great advice!

I really wanted to like this place because it's close to home but today was the last time I will be going here. I'm in the service industry so maybe I'm more conscious of the condescending and very rude tone by the owner Jo-Di. Could be that I look young she thought it was ok and that my business is of less value... Either way, she's very rude, short and not helpful at all. She told me that I can take my car somewhere else and I will be doing just that. What a shame that as the business owner you're so rude to your customers. Never recommending this place!

Terrible service all around! After they installed a stereo and speakers into my truck, one of their employees stole my card information, and the stereo they provided me works only half the time, the rest of the time it s full of glitches or just refuses to let certain features work! If you are going to use these guys, use cash, don t want them stealing your card info like they did me!!!

My friend left my vehicle with door panels off, wires dangling I called Jo-Di's. They said come right over I did. They fixed all. Pure labor (Not even their product) but treated me well Refreshing !! I'll go there again

I was very pleased with Anthony (mgr) and Jodi (owner) in their willingness to help with fixing my cd multi disc player even though I had to go through my warranty company and there were a few add'l steps to be done. They went out of their way to help get the job done for me and on time. I will definitely be back!

Great staff, great pricing and quick turnaround. I have had two cars with antiquated AM/FM/CD factory units upgraded by Jo-Di's to state-of-the-art radios with Bluetooth, USB, hands free telephone and it has been the a great investment in the car both times. I highly recommend Jo-Di's for your audio needs.

When I walked in the door, Jo-Di greeted me with a big smile and started asking questions. She was trying to understand what I wanted, not just trying to sell me. She quickly dialed in to my needs and recommended an amplifier, subwoofer and a set of speakers. Her team installed the system beautifully. Except for a small subwoofer in the back, you would have no idea the audio system was upgraded...until you turn on the tunes! I'm now listening to music I haven't played in years, all because I can now hear these recordings with the detail and impact that I wasn't getting with the factory audio system.
