My car s suspension was making weird noises and they ordered the parts ahead of time but only charged me for what needed to be fixed. Along with that they showed me an oil leak which I was completely unaware of and fixed it timely and at a reasonable price. Would be going back to them any time my car needs care. They did the work according to Mercedes standards and I still haven t faced any issues, been 3 months already. I was quoted about $7k in Boston but they only charged me $4500.

About 3 years ago I chose Hillside Automotive from a AAA mechanics list and have been very pleased with their service. I have a 2009 Honda Fit Sport .my buggy. The staff is very welcoming, exhibits professionalism and good customer service.Mr. Bob, the pleasant gentleman at the front desk, gives you sound advice regarding your repairs and they strive for quality and excellence. They keep you abreast as to when your next maintenance is due and they execute their jobs well for a fair cost. From my personal experience, I highly recommend them.

hit a coyote and didn t have a mechanic in the area. I told AAA to tow to a recommended garage. they took me here and it was a great call! Super communicative and clearly knows their stuff. A true no nonsense mechanic. Made my first big car issue easy to navigate.

New owners but same reliable, knowledgeable mechanics and front office management. Inspected car needs, informed me of needed repairs for approval. All work done in a timely manner. I have been looking for a mechanic to do work on my Honda crv for months and haven t been able to find anyone. I brought my car in 45 minutes before closing and the owner, Gary, looked at my car and fixed my issue within 5 minutes- and he didn t even charge me!! He was so kind and helpful, and he explained everything to me perfectly. I am going to start bringing my car here regularly. Thank you!!

We have been going to Hillside for our car maintenance and repairs for 15 years. They keep our cars running safely and always let us know when we are getting close to needing repairs so we can plan and budget for them. They kept our 2002 4Runner going to 235,000 miles. Engine was still going strong thanks to them but they found the frame was unsafe and warned us it was time to replace it. They do exceptional work and you can trust them when they recommend a repair.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The first person you'll speak to is Bob . Bob is a big Gruff happy guy and it's always a pleasure to speak with him. The owner is Gary. Gary is just down to earth and he will tell you exactly what the issues are. The work is always guaranteed and if there's an issue you can always go back and they take care of whatever the issue is. I've gone to Hillside Automotive before and they did amazing work on my old car. I got a "new" car and hadn't had to go see them since. The first time I had to bring it in, the only place that I would go would be Hillside Automotive. They're polite, they're courteous, they're efficient they are professional and they get the job done. Awesome service, as always. I've been going here for about 20 years, and wouldn't take my car anywhere else. I trust their work completely. They are always honest with me about what needs to be done (and what doesn't need to be done), I always have peace of mind and feel safe driving my car with the work they do, they are professional, and super nice to boot! My wife and I purchased a used car from Hillside in May 2010. Dealing with the owner, Gary, was easy and direct. When a transmission problem showed up, they fixed it without hesitation. Since then, I have serviced this car and our other cars at Hillside. The prices are fair; and the work is performed well. Most importantly, we get straight and practical answers on whether particular services are needed (or not). I recommend them highly.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical

I cannot say enough how happy I am with the folks at Hillside! They diagnosed my engine problems, gave me a couple of estimates, advised me on the "best" course of action, and brought the repairs (engine replacement!) in just about spot on with their estimate. My regular (15+ years) mechanics recommended Bob and his crew for this job, and I will definitely refer anyone I know to take their car needs to Hillside Automotive Center. I recently had an issue diagnosed and car repairs done and the service was great! Bob kept me informed along the way with the progress of repairs being made. They performed an overall check up on the vehicle and went through the report with recommendations and necessary repairs that needed to be done. I will use them in the future for car repairs and will highly recommend them to family and friends. After my first visit it was easy to see that they are honest, trustworthy and have excellent service.

Brought my truck last week. Explained to them the issue. Instead of helping me as a customer, over 6 years of business. They charged me and they gave me two different estimates. Ranging from 3,000 and up. I no longer will ever need services or recommend them. They failed me and used me for my money. Bob never said anything or showed empathy as I left. Things have changed with customer service.

I don t usually take the time to leave reviews but I feel they really went the extra mile. I called late in the day just before closing after being turned away by a few other shops. Gary told me that he d wait to close until I made it and he even gave me a ride home. They called me first thing the next morning with an update and explained everything in detail. I appreciate that they told me what needed to be done now, soon, and what was all set and I also liked that they didn t try to pressure me after i declined some services. Everything was smooth and fast, got everything done the same day. After my service I got a letter in the mail thanking me as well as a coupon for future services. You can get work done anywhere but if you want excellent customer service and friendliness I highly recommend hillside automotive. They definitely earned my future business. Thanks again.

I have had all of my vehicles serviced at Hillside Automotive for the last 25 years and Bob, Gary and Marie have all been there forme when needed. They were friendly, responsive to needs and honest. I've always felt like they had my best interests for secure and safe operating vehicles with their thoroughness! I bought my third used car from Gary recently and again I am very satisfied. In 31 years I have had engines replaced, a transmission replaced, a rear end rebuilt and all sorts of repairs large and small at Hillside Automotive. Gary, Bob, Marie and the crew have handled any concerns that I had with honesty and fairness. Even when I bought elsewhere it was with their advice. Count me a very satisfied customer.

Hillside Automotive is currently my go to mechanic. The guys over there are great and personable. They will work with you and they do an awesome job explaining the issue. They've taken care of simple and larger issues I've had with my Toyota Prius. They do not overcharge like some places will and I've been happy with the work they perform. I definitely recommend checking them out. Support local businesses!
