I went here last week & I almost lost my life. They gave me a bad tire not to mention they left my Lugnuts loose. My whole car was wobbly I taught I needed to balance my tires, When I stopped @ another tire shop sure enough it was that they gave me a bad tire & not balanced at all & my nuts were loose. I can t believe how would they play with someone s life like this. Never again will I go to them nor recommend anyone to them.

I was coming home from work and heading to night classes at ccsu when my tire popped on the side of the road by my home. I was referred to Hartford tire by a neighbor outside and I am so thankful they did!!!!! Service was AMAZINGGGG. They worked so hard to help me in a tough situation and even drove back home with me to replace my tire since I could not tow it to the shop last minute. Thank you all for your kindness I will be a repeat customer and recommend this shop to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic!!!

Amazing service was stranded on the side of the highway and they where willing to stay open late to get me back on the road while waiting for a tow! 10/10 service!!!!

Never coming to this place again. The day of getting my new tires I had an issue. A few months later and still having tire issues and they can t do anything about it. I replaced the tire sensor and come to find out they never replaced it and added a rubber. Horrible horrible. Now I need new tires and it s only been 6 months and paid over a thousand dollars for all 4 tires plus their horrible service to drive it to another shop. I should have went to a shop that actually have tires. Don t waste your time especially if you re a female. Smfh! I can see why it s hard to find reviews for the shop. Anyone saying it s great trust me they re lying. Working at the shop or relatives.

Great fast service! I had my tires replaced here multiple times. I own a business right down the road and they even dropped my car off when the tires were replaced. Will definitely come back!

These guys are awesome. I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. I bought a used tire from them and they installed it for me. The tire has a ton of tread left on it, I couldn't believe what a good deal I got. And the employees we're great

I had gotten a flat tire getting off the Airport Rd Exit. Luckily Hartford Tire is close to the offramp and i was able to get my car there. My tire was unrepairable but they had my tire size in stock. Was able to get a used tire put on and was back on the road within 30 minutes. Thank you guys for your help!!

I hardly do reviews unless it's a great product or a terrible product as well as customer service. We bought 4 tires for my Volvo and only one of the tires survived after 2 months of purchase. I had to put air on the other three tires every two to three days.. I brought it back to Hartford Tire and they told me I needed to purchase 3 tires again because they only give 30 days warranty. They also told me it was the rim causing the flat tires but they fixed it.. so I wonder why I needed to change the tires. They told me those tires are worn out and I needed to replace them. I was charged the full amount without even a discount. After 14 days of buying these tires, one of them began going flat and I realized it was a very worn out tire they had put on my car. I brought it to them a week later and these folks had the nerve to tell me I may have to purchase a new one because it was out of warranty without even verifying the date of purchase. I challenged them and they realized i was still under warranty. One of the guys came to me and told me that his boss says they could put something on the tire for me to get me going. I demanded a new tire and pointed it out that a friend came to check my tires and told me that particular tire was no good and they were trying to cheat me. Their boss came outside after about 10 minutes to check the tire and they told me they will see what they can do. I wonder how they obtained 5 stars under their review. Please, don't trust the 5 stars or you will regret and come back here to review as I have done. Save yourself and get a brand new tire instead of going to Hartford tire on 339 Ledyard St. Hartford Ct. Thanks

Please go elsewhere, same warranty, better customer service and lower prices.....This place sells low quality tire for higher then there competitors. I personally purchased few tires from them in the past but the most recent purchase tire blew on the highway on my way to work just a week out of their warranty and the owner refused to exchange it despite I was a repeat customer. After hartford tire wouldn t replace the tire that was just a week out of their warranty and was trying to sell me another one at $45. I found this place for $30 installed on the Berlin turnpike go there you will thank me my bad experience shouldn t be yours.

I shopped around for a set of Pirelli tires for my audi and Hartford Tire had the lowest price I could find. The sales person I dealt with was very pleasant and the tire changing staff was astounding. Thanks Hartford Tire

Was given a defective tire. I went back to have it replaced and was told I had to pay for it. After some back and forth the guy rightfully replaced my tire and then told me to never come back. Don t trust these guys.

Good place to change tires.. They need to come down on their prices on changing tires and selling tires. They are a little bit expensive..
