I made an appointment during the winter later in the week it was actually on a Saturday. I had called earlier and week, like a Tuesday to say I m concerned about snow on Saturday and getting up my driveway because it is steep at the beginning and they said, don t worry about it and just keep your appointment , so I did. Saturday came and there was light snow as predicted, with clearing in the afternoon. That morning a technician sent me a text early in the morning saying that I needed to provide him a full use of a two bay garage as well as having my 650 foot driveway fully rock salted and cleared before he would come. I was amazed and surprised of this request, I was never told I needed to provide this prior to making an appointment. Even as I expressed concern for snow. On top of this it would also would cost me probably a $100 in rock salt to cover my driveway. I will NEVER call this people again.

I had my 2019 Forester's windshield replaced recently. Glass America in East Hartford did a great job in just a couple of hours including the EyeSight calibration. The interior dashboard area and trim was very clean. They also made the whole process easy and accommodating including working directly with my insurance company.

My insurance company assigned Hlass America- East Hartford company for windshield replacement. They never called me back. A week later I attempted to call them 3 times and was put on permanent hold 3 different times. When I finally reached a person he told me Jessica would call me back but she never did. I called the next day and was told my windshield was on back order by the Mfg. I called Subaru and was told they had plenty in stock for my specific vehicle. I called my insurance to switch glass vendors. They reassigned me to Safelite. I had a new windshield installed in less than 24 hours from Safelite in West Hartford.

Great customer service and very competitive rates. Other companies told me my windshield couldn't be repaired and pushed for a full replacement. Glass America was able to do the repair and explained my choices and the possible outcomes of a repair. If the repair fails, the cost of the repair will offset a future replacement. All employees were extremely helpful, knowledgable and courteous from the office to the technician who performed the repair. I'd recommend them to everyone.Service: Auto windshield repair

After some slums went around breaking windows to my car and others last week. I quickly called Glass America. They had my window available to my car and came out within two hours. The gentleman that replaced my window was swift and cleaned up all the glass that was in my car! I really appreciate that so much!!! Their prices are decent too! I highly recommend this business!!

This store is horrible!!! Customer service is horrible!! technician is horrible!!! I asked them to repair my BMW windshield, which has a very tiny hole. Eventually, the technician came, instead of fixing the windshield, he broke the whole and made a huge crack on my windshield. Now, I have no choice but to replace the whole thing! The customer service told me I should responsible for the risk of repairing!!! Okay, NEVER GO TO THIS STORE TO FIX YOUR WINDSHIELD, BECAUSE THEY WILL BREAK IT AND MAKE YOU REPLACE THE WHOLE THING!

I ve taken some time to write this review so that I can ensure I am not writing based on my feelings. My experience was completely terrible. First of all I witnessed the technician arrive and use the same gloves working on my vehicle. At one point he didn t even use gloves. Making the experience completely unsafe and unsanitary. The technician worked on my vehicle and had to regard to ensure that he cleaned up the glue, and debris he caused while changing the glass. I am working from home and unfortunately didn t have time to inspect his work as I assumed that being from a so called reputable company... he would Atleast make sure the work was done correctly. Once I entered my vehicle after he left I noticed debris all over my vehicle that I had to clean. I then noticed that he glued the sensor for the automatic car starter. I though great, Atleast that was done. Once I drove the car starter kept un sticking from the glass. When I went to inspect I saw that the technician didn t even remove the original glue that was on it to place the new glue. And hence, this poor choice led to the sensor not sticking to the glass and then.... AGAIN. I had to do his job. Remove the original glue and his glue and then buy double stick tape to ensure proper adhesion. That s not the end of it. The glass was covered in dirt and glue. He didn t clean the glass at all. And hence. I had to clean my own glass. This technician displayed poor work ethic and irresponsible protocol during a pandemic. I had to clean up after his work and redo it which I believe is completely unprofessional and unnecessary. This technician should be given supplemental training and I will share this review all over social media to ensure that no one I know uses Glass USA ever. I m completely dissatisfied and disappointed to say the least. ! May I also add that he Was on the phone the entire time and stopped work to allow for conversation, this might have led to missed steps and work. I also have this all on camera...phone conversation, poor work and all.Service: Auto windshield repair

Glass America did my windshield on my truck, installed it wrong molding loose and falling off they will not warranty the job. Said it's not their problem. Would not reccomend ever.
