We blew a tire on the highway, by the time we stopped, George's Tire Service was the closest hope for a tire. I got a used tire for a fair price including mounting and balancing and quickly! In and out in about a half hour! Thanks again, guys!!! I would definitely return!

EDIT: Tires Unlimited on Walnut st did an amazing job at a great price & very efficient!! #SupportBlkBusinesses I called before going there to see what the price would be to install and balance new tires I bought prior to. He gave me a good deal over the phone so I went down. After waiting almost an hour one of the workers let me know he was getting ready to start. So I asked for the price once again to be sure and the owner gave me an amount double what he quoted me over the phone. What a waste of my time. Also like someone else implied.. they seem to cater to their Spanish speaking clientele more!

First two experiences no problem except for the near bald use tire they sold me . I bought two new for 120 or some close to used idk what they did . but second time was the bald tire . now I've been looking for the owner for the past 30 minutes and he no where to be found. All the workers said go to him about pricing. Smh . crazier part their not that busy and they won't pick up their phone

I went for an alignment Friday they told me to come back next day cuz it didn't take, the owner told me he wasn't charging me for switching my tires & YET HE DID! drove it, had to go back when I asked why the steering wheel was going all the way around just for a simple turn, he said that's the way it should be!!! honestly that's why I needed an alignment in the first place DON'T UNDERSTAND first he blamed it on a loose bushing while I'm paying, the second time he blame it on the bearings pluss the mechanic had left everything loose when he him self Friday told me everything was ok, can someone tell me how u able to see the bearings without taking the spindle apart oh wait the caliper, pads, disc & pluss I had taken it to Monro & they checked it & everything was good nothing loose or broken all I needed was an alignment & got the papers to prove it, mind u I just got out of my dialysis & had to go to them next day feeling sick 3 hours sleep to endup the same way I had my car, my MOTHER ALWAYS TOLD ME, LO BARATO SALE CARO!! (U get what u pay for!!!) even when it wasn't that cheap either, they see a woman & think u don't know nothing anyways I will bring it back to them, & lets see when I showe them the info. cuz honestly I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt when lies where coming out of the owner's mouth, be aware...one good thing all the employees were asome though no complaints there stay tune..will update u!!!!

If I could give less stars I would. No organization. Nobody tried to help me. The one guy that came by my car tried to lift it qithout even asking if I need led a tire or rim repair. Then he said he would go I the back and look for one never to be seen again. DONT GO HERE

Always friendly, fast service and good tires for cheap prices. Amazed at the prices for run flats which are pretty expensive everywhere else no matter if they are used or not. I got them here for $65. I saved money.

I came here twice with the same service . My last one ain t the same price what George brother gave me the quote for the price and the front lady changed me with different. high than what George brother quote With me for the price. I don t recommend anyone here especially not knowing what is going with your car.

If I was able to give no stars this place definitely doesn't deserve any!!! On top of these people charging me a ridiculous amount to change TWO front pads WHICH I PROVIDED!!! These people never screwed in my calipers PROPERLY which would of cost me my life if I would of never brought my car to the chevy dealer to figure out the shake in my car. After finding out what was the problem I tried to call this place and the lady that picked up was so rude & refused to direct me to management, (honestly now I believe it was because they don't have any nor the proper training lol) I don't recommend this place to ANYONE don't go there spend the extra cash and bring your car to get check or work on at a PROFESSIONAL PLACE!!

I tried giving them the benefit of doubt since there literally up the street ...they turned me down because of a little situation with my power steering saying they couldn't do it but my whole front end was new ..I'm a mechanic also so I'm calling B's on there part it's alright imma let my boy get me right who works at Honda

This guys charge way too much 210 for two tires and balance .. you guys are crazy I don't even know why my man pay you guys. You are stealing money

Called at 5:23pm asked if they had tire and how much told the lady I was on my way got here at 5:45pm and they were closed not one time was I told they were closing and I was refused a tire.. Their price is great but I was not happy with not being told they were closing early as for when I got here the guy was nasty and said we'll they close at 6 but I don't know

These guys are very good and very fast and it didn't cost me very much,i got a tire that matched my others exactly and it was used bit still had very good tread it honestly was in. as good condition as my others,it was $60 which i was ok with to get my car back on the road

Best used and new tires in Hartford, the owner is so nice, the staffs are very helpful. I strongly recommend come to this place for all your tires .

I highly recommend this place. Another garage told me I needed a left front tire they determined that I needed a right front tire. When I left there my car drove beautifully no more shaking. Very reasonable prices it's the only place I go for tires.

I came here to fix my tire and they refused to help me saying they were closed although it was 15 min before their closing time. I don't never show up to a place like this but it was an emergency. Everyone just looked at each other and pretended like i wasnt there. Worst customer experience ever,. I wouldn't look to do any service with them if I was dying an my life depended on talking to them

I called and ordered two tires on November 15, 2019 I ordered two tires over the phone, I went down to my vehicle wrote down the size, called him for a price. The size was 235-75 R16!! I do not make mistakes I am 64 years old my wife was witness to this . The tires work for a 04 Mazda tribute, two front tires. So I arrive one hour after I talk to George the owner and he says I have your tires, I noticed two tires were brought up they were 225-70R16, Not thinking because they were so so busy I said to myself those must be mine, so they re getting ready to install them and I just happened to look at one of my rear tires that has a slow leak I believe it s the valve stem, and I noticed the tires were 235-70R16!! So just to make sure I mentioned it to George and he says yes those are your tires and I already pre-paid, I want to pre-pay first but they said no pay after the job is finished, but they took my money earlier, the problem is they had ordered the wrong tire size and we re ready to put the wrong tires on my vehicle they ordered So just to make sure I mentioned it to George and he says yes those are your tires and I already pre-paid, I want to pre-pay first but they said no pay after the job is finished, but they took my money earlier, the problem is they had ordered the wrong tire size and were ready to put the wrong tires on my vehicle they ordered two wrong size tires, anyways, he came to me and told me it would be $15 more and I explained him I ordered the 235s not the 225 s!! We went back-and-forth and he said you ordered 225s, so I told him I only have $220 is what he quoted me, and cash that s all I had was $220, he says do you want them I said I don t have the money you quoted me 220.00$, To make a long story short he said do you want the tires I said I don t have an extra $15 on me so I yelled him back and told him remove the tires put the old ones back on they were showing canvas that s how bad the front tires were on my Mazda, I was trying to use reverse psychology, because I always go and get my tires there for the last 40 years and he said take the tires off and put the old ones back on, I couldn t believe My ears when he said that, so I told him 15 seconds after that forget it I ll take them, I did have the $15 but they made a mistake and charged me extra, and it was their mistake they said they ordered the wrong tire which my wife and I know I did not!!! So they install the tires I paid the extra $15 gave the installer a $10 tip which would ve paid for the extra on the tires I even mention that he didn t care I believe it s a white thing, meaning because I am a white person and every customer there was Spanish, I am not prejudice because I m saying this but I ve been doing business with this guy for 40 years and he knows me. I will never go there ever again!! George is getting too old he s senile, I knew him when he was 29 years old now he s like 69 years old. Bad experience. Mr. Kaminsky/Jay.

I pulled up to find a tire NO ONE IN HARTFORD HAS.. and lucky Georges had it after running alover Hartford.. thye really do has ANY TIRE on hand or close by . Not a long wait was in and out fast . And awsone prices on brand new tire and used .. definitely a spot to go back to and i well recommend then to and car or bike owner !! Thanks team at George's

They sell used tires at the lowest prices I can find. Felix was fast and efficient and made great recommendations. Whenever a nail punctures tires, it only means that your tire threads are too worn out and need to be replaced. This place looks dingy and dirty, but that's how they keep costs down. I'll never buy new tires from Tire chains again. These used tires are from Leased vehicles that were returned to dealers.

Don t even bother wasting your time with these people. I have the most common tire possible and he gonna lie and say he don t have it over the phone because he felt like I had an attitude. Weird owner and weirder employees
