Dropped truck on May 28 knowing I was on home time for 10 days and Memorial Day was the 31st...I called on Thursday June 3 and was told parts were backordered...not a big deal...I called again on Monday June 7 and was told parts had come in on Saturday June 5...great right ? Nope...I called twice on Tuesday and twice on Wednesday and was given some form of " it's in line...we are waiting to assign it to a tech"...I understand that this is how dealerships work but to my thinking,a truck that has already been diagnosed and is just waiting for parts shouldn't have to wait 4 extra days to get back in the shop to be put back together...the people I dealt with are all pleasant enough and I realize that this is probably a corporate policy but it doesn't seem like great customer service...UPDATE... different truck this time...dropped 2024 Western Star with a transmission issue...8210 miles... dropped September 15,2023 at 1 pm...called the following Thursday...truck NOT EVEN IN SHOP YET...finally around noon September 25 they got around to bringing it in...was told that same week on Thursday that it was done...now I'm assuming that the "technician" is just STUPID...but it's possible that this idiot is also incompetent and a liar...truck came back from "repairs" EXACTLY the same...I guess this dealership doesn't like warranty work or just has morons in the shop...hey but at least this is only the SECOND worst dealership I have ever dealt with ..hang that plaque on your wall

This facility is wonderful if you have hours of time to spend on the phone with them. It took me 5 hours on the phone and 2 days to get oil and filters for my truck.

Over a period of time, this Freightliner Dealership Service performed important repairs on my truck. Including changing complete engine, later on changing head gasket on the engine. And doing gasket change on drive axle. Pricewise it is same as any other Freightliner dealership.Parts department is pricey as any other place, however if you could open an account you could possibly get some discounts. This is the only Freightliner certified dealership in the area, so honestly you don t have many other options. overall the job is satisfied the needs of the truckers.

Excellent! Fast service! Donna was able to get us right in and out ... We needed to get our idle timer turned off due to the cold weather. From the time we got there to the time we left, 45 minutes. Will definitely be back here again!

Brought truck in on 4/22 for repairs on accident. Got approval from insurance on 5/2 now still waiting on truck to be finished. Was told 2 or 2.5 weeks. 4 weeks of excuses and lies. Now I just hope it's done correctly whenever I get it back. I would not suggest them for timely service or truthfulness.

They get it fixed right, but man does it take a long time. Not done when they say, generally. My night drivers went to pick up their tractor after hours, I asked them to leave it outside their gate, and they did, with the key where I asked them to leave it. However, my drivers failed to check the second entrance and drove off without their truck that night. I guess they and I both should ve been a little more specific of where to look!

This place is terrible, Staff seems overworked and stressed out, to the point they are talking about it at the front counter. People walking around shaking there heads.Service person joe, almost seemed like he was trying to talk me out of dropping my truck off to get the service done. And seemed almost surprised when I told him yes. Originally told me truck would be ready Monday afternoon or early Tuesday. Truck didn t get done until the following Saturday. I never received a single phone call from them all week, I had to call everyday to check on the progress And even at the end they couldn t send me the invoice to pay by email or text for almost two hours.I had to call them three times. Said system wasn t working right.. ended up having to give my credit card over the phone in order to ensure I get my truck after hours. Get your work done elsewhere if you can,. With people who are properly trained and professional I don t recommend this place at all.

If it would be possible to give zero stars that is what they would get. I have been here for 6 days, for them to replace an egr valve, some sensor, and a turbo. If the company I work for would've gotten me the parts I could have done all of that in a few hours, and I'm not a mechanic. But it has taken them 6 days. WTF.... Also they broke off my expensive antenna. Still waiting for an apology. I doubt I'll get one. Only time will tell.Nope no apologies. However, after I talked to the service manager, he did have it fixed.Still will never come back to this shop. The company will have to have it towed elsewhere.

We started looking for a new truck back in June of 2019. Looked at a few dealerships out in Ohio and a few around home. We decided on Freightliner of Hartford for the simple fact that they are willing to work with you. There wasn't a sales man in when we stopped by but Louis in used trucks was more than helpful. He took down our name and number and told us Edward Zynko does new truck sales for Freightliner and would be in touch as he was out of the office for a bit. Ed called us before we had even made it home. From there we got into the starting drafts of having a truck built specifically for the needs of our job. Ed was extremely knowledgeable, very helpful, and all around a wonderful sales man to work with. Any questions or concerns that we brought to him was addressed quickly. From start to finish the whole process was made so much easier by Ed. So we placed our order around the end of August and it took roughly six weeks for it to be built. When our truck arrived Ed took the time to let us know. We have had the truck for about a month now and are more then happy with it. We cant thank Ed enough. When the time comes we would most definitely come back to see Ed and have him build us another truck.

Nice facility, will let you park in driveway or drop trailer in yard and park in bobtail lot overnight, hourly is $145.00 hr, average nowadays I guess, and flat charged me 2.5 hrs on 1 hr 15 min job, I timed em! Did no good to point that out to them....if I lived in area, would find a more honest, inexpensive shop...but I'm from AZ and they worked in a pinch!

Took way to long to fix my truck and they damaged my truck without taking responsibility for something that would be clear to recognize if it came in like that. Also, I realized I paid them to much cash once I left there. The guy counting the cash kept asking me how much it supposed to be instead of just counting. When I asked him what was the outcome he told me a number that was impossible to be short when I never included coins with my cash. I'll never go back there again. I'm so disappointed

2.5hrs for a glad handle a 5 minute job I literally begged for tool to do it myself I had already paid. If you were honest and said it's gonna take a couple of hours I would have bought the part and gone else where, I didn't need to be strung along.

TOTAL NIGHTMARE. Sent my truck to have my transmission looked at because it would not switch in to the high gears. I was told my truck would be ready on Thursday. On Friday I was told the mechanic was going home early and it would not be ready till Monday. On Monday I was given the run around so on Tuesday I want their to find out what was the deal. Called on Tuesday was told all it need was a road tested. I arrived at around noon and see my truck in the yard with the hood up. When I asked what was going on they told me the battery was dead and they would need to charge it. I waited outside to see how long it would take. an 1hr and 1/2. then the road test. To make a long story short I will just tell you that I didn't get out till 4:45 and that the guy in the yard told me that no one looked at the truck on Monday. Also my bill was a lot more than they told me over the phone and was charged for something they did not fix. I will never send any of my trucks here again. Total crooksIt would have been cheaper to tow the truck than bring it to this place

Customer service is disgusting. Ben At parts is really rude I got attacked for entering through a entrance I always enter through doesn t wear a face mask I mean I can go on and on but by the reviews you guys have there s nothing else to say it s so bad that I would rather pay double the price or even risk breaking down on the road than buying parts from you guys not even worth the one star

They may have the parts that my truck need but the service is soooooo bad, the people work there are so rude and they ignore you when u enter to the store. As a woman I decided to stop go there cuz they treat me like I don t know anything and that really bothers me.

Not a bad place to get work done. Ed and Gary in the service department know what they are doing and know what they are talking about.Downside is that because they are a busy shop, it MAY take a while to get the truck into the shop, especially if they have to order parts. When you see the board behind the service desk you'll know just how busy they are.I haven't utilized the driver's lounge because I live 10 miles from here, so I drop the truck off and go home. Uber is VERY prevelent in the area so you can get anywhere in the state without much issue; there is a mall nearby, various different restaurants and other places and things to do. CT is actually full of history, so if your into history, there's plenty to see in that regard as well. There are also some hiking areas nearby as well such as Case Mountain in Manchester, or Cotton Hollow in South Glastonbury to name a couple.I only gave it 4 stars because I feel for a busy shop, they MIGHT need to hire more hands, but that's just my personal opinion.

These people are inept. They have their labor and diagnostic fee that is supposed to be visible to customers taped to a filing cabinet behind a wall where you can't see it, unless you are shown it.. even then, you can't read it. Do they not know the law ? Furthermore, they can't diagnose a truck, yet charge you a diagnostic fee. Great for companies that want to get screwed over. Not good for the owner operator who cares about their fleet. I wouldn't bring them a radio flyer wagon to fix..

If you have a problem with your truck, these guys will get to the bottom of it quickly. If they can't figure it out they talk to the factory engineers. If you need parts their service desks guys know everything about your truck and can guide you to what you need.

I found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I brought my RV in for normal service and they did a very thorough job which I appreciate. I will not hesitate to return for any further service.

My problem was quickly assessed and repaired, was up and running with only 2 nights in a motel. Note; the repair was major repair ( valve bridge).

They have the highest prices of all Freightliners probably. They gave me an estimate and when I told I did not want to perform all they want to replace in my truck they started acting really rude and I ended up not doing the job. And at the end of the day I came up with over $300 for a computer diagnosis.

Finally made the switch from Kenworth to Freightliner and have been very impressed so far. Ed Zynko of Freightliner of Hartford worked with us from beginning to end on the new truck and spec'd it out perfectly. The truck has exceeded our expectations so far!

Worst Freightliner in the Country and I've been to a lot of freightliners. Brought my truck in because I was have a turbo boost issue. Also I've had two vpods replaced before I brought it to this dealer. This shop depends on computers instead of intelligence. Charged us $530.00 for basically nothing. Only to tell me that the truck popped a code. Well if a truck pops a code and the turbo stops working there's obviously a problem. I hate dodges with a passion. However I wouldn't bring one to this shop. If you have a problem in Connecticut. I would suggest bringing your truck to exit 56 on I95 branford Connecticut to that freightliner. I believe that the Hartford freightliner is incompetent of doing and researching simple problems. Also when I picked my truck up. My Radio was on stupid talk radio station. I was was able to reproduce the turbo problem after 4 mIles of picking the vehicle up. If the guy road testing would've listened to my truck more and a little less of my radio! He would've probably realized that there was a issue. Look dude you get paid to drive and listen for truck problems. Not chilling with the radio. Worst Freightliner.
