I walked in to see what they had for Chevy Colorado Trucks. I asked Matt the salesman, if I could test drive the one I was interested in buying and several days later I drove home with my new truck. The staff was very knowledgeable about the truck I wanted to purchase and made the sale easy and enjoyable.

I went in so stressed about a car and lost about what to do. Ryan really guided me through the process, made sure I got the most benefit for my money, and made sure I understood every single detail before signing anything. They're very fair and so friendly and helpful. First time I've gone to a dealership and didn't feel like I was hearing practiced scripts and convo setups. Amazing experience thanks guys!!!

Very disappointed. They are misleading in their advertising. They state your job is your credit only to tell you a reason other than your job is the reason for your denial. I agreed to have my name added to the loan to help out my mother who needed more income. I asked did my credit matter and I was assured it wouldn't and that I was being added for my income. I would not have agreed to this had I known she would still get denied. Now I have an inquiry on my credit and she has no vehicle. Also, she has to wait next week or later for the refund on the deposit she made .I would not recommend if you have some concerns about approval and not sure you can get a cosigner. She has to wait to go somewhere else because she has to wait for her deposit, but like the salesman said in response to their false advertising, "I'm just the salesman ". Well I'm the disappointed customer. Thanks for nothing.

After almost a year and a half of being "car-less" due to injuries from a major car accident, he located the exact vehicle I've been dreaming of and I'm in love. So happy and grateful for everything East Hartford Chevrolet has done for me.

I usually bring a couple cars from our fleet every now and again for an oil change. I will no longer be using your services. I will say Chuck in service was great. However, upon my initial phone call for service I informed the young lady I spoke with that I only wanted an oil change. She added tire rotation and other services I did not ask for. I again had to let her know I only wanted an oil change as it will be going back to the original dealer where the car was purchased for addition service since it was under warranty. Finally she fixed it. Once the services were provided I was charged 129.00 for just the oil change. In the past I was charged between 70-80 dollars along with a filter change. I was not given a receipt when I left I had to call back to ask about charges and the young lady did give me a breakdown. I told her I was never charged that much for just an oil change and she said Well that s what the charges are now . I said no problem I will no longer be bringing our vehicle (s) back there again and thank you.

I just bought a car ( from a different dealership). I did get the extended warranty. I noticed that when i was driving the car did not feel right. I call the place I got the car from and they let me know that I could either bring the car to them or since I got the extend warranty I could being it anywhere else. Since I have heard nothing but great things about East Hartford Chevrolet I took it there. I was greeted by Chuck, Joe and Jessica when I walked in. When I got the to service desk Jessica M was the one that ask me how she was able to help me. I explained to her my situation and she was able to get me in and have my car looked at right away. When she called me back she let me know what was going on with my car and asked if I had an extended warranty on my car. I let her know I did and she passed it along to the warranty department and Jessica F called and let them know what was going on with the car and what needed to be done to the car. Everyone in there made sure that no matter what needed to be done to the car to make sure it was safe to drive did what they needed to get done for me. I will never go to another dealership to have my car worked on!

I was very pleased with the information and explanations I received from Bill on the day my car was serviced. He was very patient and super helpful in checking issues I mentioned about my car beyond the oil change that I was there for. I really appreciated Bill's help. The staff, in general, have been very knowledgeable, respectful and professional in the past 4 years I've been having my car serviced at Gengras East Hartford.

Jessica (the lead in service) was nice, informative with my initial service. I appreciated her time/ patience.Appt was scheduled for 12/28. It took a day for diagnostics and ended up keeping the car until 01/02. Walking up to my car noticed damage to the front left side of my car.Immediately went back inside.First Gentleman came outside - his response was this looks old.Second Gentleman looked at it, said he can pull the cameras. He took the car in the back.When he returned made no mention of camera review. Simply stated there was no way we could have done this. He offered to buff it out, I said it was dented his response was well it s plastic .I asked for my key and the manager/ owner information. Before leaving I took photos and emailed the owner. I have called, left messages and emailed but no one seems to know when he will return or when I will get a response.Still NOTHING and these events occurred under new management.

The new management was very welcoming and generous in pricing the replacement of a faulty key fob for my 2015 Malibu. The problem was resolved within an hour. As always, Jessica, a service manager at the main desk was very helpful, and reassuring that I have nothing to be concerned about regarding the change of dealer ownership and continued servicing of my car.

Alvin Gamble was absolutely amazing, I am a very indecisive person. This was my first big purchase and he walked me through it step by step without pressuring me to go outside my budget. The car I wanted was not at the lot but that didn t stop Alvin from making sure I got exactly what I wanted. He kept and contact with me and he was able to locate my desired car at another dealership and got it delivered to his location. That s what you call great customer service! 10/10 I would definitely recommend!

Had my oil changed a couple weeks ago then three days later the engine light came on. I made an appointment for Wednesday at 9 o clock call damage to said they didn t even look at my car yet. I knew it had to be something simple because I was just there so needless to say Bill was great. Jessica and Jessica were great but how they how are you guys do stuff there you make an appointment and they go in order I get going in order bought my problem was my cabin filter wasn t put in right so needless to say I had to be so have so much anxiety. They have no loaners anymore. I had to rent a car the next day they called me and said oh what is the cabin filter we put it in straight it s all set but what I had to go through just for the cabin filter. I think when it s your appointment you know if if it s an engine light on you should at least put it on the machine for five minutes to see what it is if it was something simple so I didn t have to go crazy renting a car and going through so much just for that that I m very very disappointed in Other Nat, you know everything else was great but they need a new system. You know when you have an appointment your car should be looked at then if it s a 15 hour job well put that one aside and tell somebody you re going to need a loaner or a rental or something I just went through a lot of do you know a lot of aggravation for a simple problem that could ve been fixed when I had an appointment at nine and had to wait a whole Nother day and hopefully I ll be getting my money back to my credit card. I didn t see it come back on there yet. Other than that it s OK.

Bill was friendly and patient and my car was finished in a reasonable amount of time. However, the dealership seemed to be short staffed on a Saturday. I am concerned that my car was not given the complete check up that I have grown used to. I had no information on my tire pressure or tire tread, my oil life was not updated, I did not receive a next service appointment sticker, and after my visit, both of my headlights were not functioning. This was a dangerous and scary situation for me Monday Night.

These guys are great. Ben and Alvin worked extremely well together to make my dream truck come true. So accommodating with no pressure at all. The definition of true intent to find me the best vehicle. They spent as much time as needed going back and forth to get my monthly payments correct. I drove an hour and a half to come here and couldn t feel like there was time more well spent. For such a big life investment these guys make sure you are in good hands. 10/10

My recent encounter with this dealership felt like navigating a labyrinth of incompetence and indifference.Firstly, their promises of prompt service turned out to be nothing but empty words. My vehicle arrived days later than initially assured, leaving me stranded and frustrated. And if that wasn't agonizing enough, it took them nearly a week just to diagnose a seemingly straightforward issue.Navigating through the dealership's staff was akin to tiptoeing through a field of landmines. Instead of providing assistance, they greeted my inquiries with rudeness and confrontation. It felt like they were doing me a favor by gracing me with their presence.In summary, my experience with East Hartford Chevrolet was akin to passing a kidney stone: excruciating, protracted, and best avoided at all costs. The sales representative that I dealt with was great, very accommodating and very helpful. Also the same with the finance department the only issue that I did have is that usually in the past when you bought a vehicle from a dealership, they would take pride in detailing the vehicle and giving it to you and a mint condition, unfortunately in this case, the detail department definitely failed their job wax was left in big patches on the roof of the vehicle. There was numerous places where there were scratches not even attempted to be removed and there was still mud in the wheel wells.You can tell it was a rush job. I know this is not a big deal but today when you re spending this amount of money on these vehicles I believe it s something that is necessary to be delivered in show room condition not like my 13 year old just cleaned my truck. I believe there should be more pride taken in this area. I know it s a small part of the process, but it is an important part.

I took my car in for concerns. Not only did they try to charge me $169 for each concern. They charged me $191 for a diagnostic fee and didn't even give me a full diagnostic. He says it's snowing I don't want to test drive your car which is needed for this diagnostic but I think this is what's wrong with your vehicle. This place use to be good but is total trash. I would never buy another GM vehicle in my life just so I won't have to deal with this place or any other Chevy dealership.

The Gengras dealership helped me get into the perfect car for my family and I. Ben helped by getting us to the right price, Al did a wonderful job getting me accustomed to new vehicle, and Steve made the sales portion smooth and easy!! All in all it was a great experience to work with this team :)

OK the situation that I experienced at this dealership faithfully go there as a loyal customer get my oil changed, and my tires rotated when it s due I go in for a transmission flush because my car is chattering. They give me an excuse that they need to do a diagnostic check on my vehicle, not understanding charge me $170 to tell me that my tires are dry rotted. My transmission line is leaking and my tires aren t balanced which I m not sure how my tires are not balanced and you never took them off to check them. Not sure what that has to do with the transmission So they have a bulletin saying replaced the training fluid and that will fix that problem So I feel like I ve been scammed for $170 and they did nothing to my truck but when I go in to get my oil change, they don t tell me I need to get a diagnostic fee, so I m not understanding I pacifically want my transmission flushed. You re gonna tell me you gotta do a diagnostic fee sounds fishy to me so I mean I should be paying $170 every time I get my oil change because you need to do a diagnostic check. So for all that, they lose a loyal customer for greed

Had an agreement with Gengras after a mistake on their part. Now when someone or company purchases they inherit all the agreements, but this is not the case. They employee was not helpful, just gave me a number to a guy from Gengras stating its a Gengras issue. With all the current supervisors still there. She should have got a manager to talk to me. Then on top of it, I did the oil change but didn t get the typical report of how the truck is doing, top off the window washer fluid, or car wash as done in the past. They found an issue of leaks on my hoses. When checked the hoses that are leaking, and after wiping them off, there was no leak. The mistake that happened under Gengras was during an oil change they put in 4 quarts of oil instead of 8. The dip stick didn t show a drop of oil on it. So with the new owner great way to show me you want my business. Still the same workers as before that will make the same mistakes and take advantage of their customers.

Recently purchased a 2022 Tahoe from Gengras Chevrolet. Jimmy was my sales persons. I highly recommend going to him. Laid back and super helpful. He was able to answer all of my questions and provide a high level of service. I have been a Gengras costumer for a long time. I have used their dealers in other purchases and the level of service anywhere I go has always been excellent.

After purchasing 4 brand new chevys from other dealers in the past 4 years I can say my experience with gengras on the most recent was terrible. From the sales manager Ben telling me he didn't want to sell me the vehicle because I didn't want his add on paint/ interior package or theft package. No one returning calls, and a damaged vehicle upon pick up. Also like previous review vehicle was not detailed with any type of pride, glue still left on door handles multiple scratches all over vehicle. If I could have found another vehicle around i would have went elsewhere. I hope to never deal with these people again!

My last oil change at Gengras a few months back cost me 75.68. Today it was 146.47 with the new owners of East Hartford Chevrolet. I was blindsided when I paid the bill. And yes, for the same car.

Don't beleive anything this dealership tells you or gives you in writing..it seems under the new owners, it's all about them and not the customer.I went there on Saturday to sell my 2023 Chevy Suburban. I spoke with Robert in management who went over my truck, he took it for a drive, inspected it inside and out. Robert settled on a price and printed out of piece of paper with an amount on it. Robert wrote his name on it aswell. I was asked to come back on Monday to complete the paperwork for the purchase. I was told that if I decided to trade it in today, they would be able to do it today. I decided to look around and found a truck that I wanted to run numbers on. They gave me the numbers and I told them I would think it over but I would be back on Monday to either sell the truck or traded it in. I spoke with Robert on Monday and told him that I would just be selling the truck today. Robert stated since I wasn't going to buy a truck that they were not able to purchase the Suburban as agreed on. Robert's stated that he spoke to the new owners and they said that they would rather sell a truck than buy one. Robert said that they needed to protect their dealership. Protect the dealership from what? Me A returning customer? Me, who has a 2017 Corvette Grandsport that was going to sell to them next? Just goes to show that they will do what ever it takes to sell cars. Stay clear from this dealership, there are other dealships in the area and other Chevy dealerships as well.
