I take all three of my vehicles to D Adderio s. They are always courteous and get the job done quickly and correctly. I m glad I found them for all my automotive needs.

My truck sat in the parking lot for 7 months before they realized they wouldn't be able to work on my truck. The people there were quite cordial though. They towed my truck to and from free of charge, and they provided me a ride home. I actually wished they would have been able to fix the truck. They're a family business and I like supporting family businesses.

Curt D'Addario and family are very good and knowledgable. I started taking my vehicles to Curt in 2005 and stopped going there after moving to New London in 2012. The main reason I was seeing Curt was because he is an expert on the Toyota MR2. He owned several of them and used to race them.Now in 2023, I gave my MR2 car to my son who lives in East Hartford. I haven't driven the car in years and had several problems that needed attention. We went to visit Curt and family and they fixed all of the problems. Curt also took the time to show my son certain things that he can do to keep up the car.I have always been happy with the service from the D'Addario family. It was great to see Curt again after all of these years.-Kenny Q

4th gen family business that will take care of you. Brought in my Nissan that had very unusual issues to get it fixed.Long story short, before coming to D addario s, I went to another shop we ve used in the past, and then the Nissan dealership to try to get this problem fixed. Both misdiagnosed the issue. Finally, I bring it to D addario s after seeing their high reviews here, in hopes they d get it right.D addario s was the only shop able to properly identify this unusual issue, and spent a lot of time researching and working to fix this issue. While there was some trial and error, they eventually got it right and were very fair with me.Their team went above and beyond to help me here, and I d recommend them to anyone in need of car repair and/or maintenance.

The Nissan service center is great. I rarely say many good things about a dealer's service center. But they are professional, prompt, honest and make me feel like a valued customer.

I called with the STRANGEST request. I called 5 other shops in East Hartford. I got a NO from every shop. D'Addario's actually offered to take a look (which I appreciate). Needless to say, the job was done without hesitate and with great professionalism. My 1st time in this shop and their customer service was top notch (not just to me but to everyone that walked into the shop).

This was my first time doing business with Daddario s and i already love it here. The customer service is excellent and it seems to run like a very well oiled machine. They do honest business, the prices are very reasonable, and they will not do any work or charge you for anything that isn t necessary. They are a family owned business, and it felt like almost every customer that came in there had been doing business with them for years. My car needed a new motor for my AC/heater fan they did an ok job. My only complaint is that they were not honest with my about when my car was going to be done. I totally understand when complications arise. However be honest with the customer about when the car will be done. They say they are open til 5:30 however mechanics are only there until 5:00pm. They are there til 5:30pm for pickup. I do not like having to get upset but thankfully they did complete my car so I could pickup my car and didn't have to cancel all my appointments.

I crossed your page scrolling Google and remembered good memories of doing business with you guys during my time at the Nutmeg International parts department. You were valued customers, and I always looked forward to helping you source parts whenever you were in need. It was also a refreshing benefit because the young lady (I apologize for not remembering it currently, that was around 6 or 7 years ago haha) was cordial and personable with the more business we did together. Hopefully, business has been steady and good for you, and I hope things are well. You've made your business easy to recommend and left a great impression on me.

I'm so happy to find a trusted family owned auto service. The mechanics didn't cut corners, they investigated all possible issues with my car and determined the causes as to why my car wasn't producing heat. They let me know what my car would need to get it back on the road and functioning properly. The main issue was the heating core, which would be quite a big job, I had to hold off on that fix do to cost, but, the mechanic had replaced the water pump, thermastat and flushed the system multiple times due to the buildup of liquid in the system, causing corrosion on the heating core, thermastat. He helped me buy some time, until I can afford to do the heating core replacement. I would highly recommend D'Addario's to my friends and family.

This was a great experience for us for work on our Honda. We came in from out of state for a funeral, and we were treated wonderfully. There was no BS, just straight-shot information, excellent work, and above-and-beyond customer service. I definitely recommend D'Addario's for any work you need.

Great service, friendly. Inexpensive . Five star .My Ruby heart, blood was at risk of ending up at a salvage yard! Now she is purring like a brand new baby! They save my Ford F150. You can bring your car in, they will inspect it, call you with an outcome, give you an estimate of cost and pick up time. If service is done sooner they will call you. I can't say enough about D'Addario's. Give them a call and try them for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

I am so impressed with D'Addarios. You can always depend on quality service from them. Just today, my sister had an almost flat tire...she brought it in to them where they fixed it and sent her on her way. The grandfather Joe D'Addario used to service my Dads cars...so to be in business all these years ...you have to have a great reputation. Thank you!

Brought my 09 Honda to them when I first got it, 116,000 miles for an oil leak. They changed the valve cover seal an did a tune up also fixed a sway bar. $1200. Also asked why my engine was so loud. They said those cars run loud. Apparently they had no knowledge that those trucks are notorious for burning too much oil an leaking. (Dealer mechanic told me this). Took my car back at 140,000 miles for the engine sounding funny again when accelerating. Was told it needed a valve adjustment. Made an appointment had my car there 4 days called me an asked it I wanted my timing belt done since they had my car already. Valve adjustment was $650 then $950 for the timing. Told them not to do the timing please just fix the noise. So they called to tell me they were done but my car still had the noise, so they fixed nothing!!! What??? You told me the valves needed to be adjusted. Paid them and brought my truck to the dealer. They had the truck 1HOUR, soon as they reved it passed 3000 rpm u can hear a knocking coming from the engine block on the 1st cylinder. (So the loud engine was NOT normal like D Addario s told me, it was actually the engine going)Dealer said since the truck is known for burning oil an leaks it was probably driven by the previous owner with no oil. They told me to get rid of it. I had this truck not even 2 years an still making payments. So all this time my engine was going and they just kept fixing things (or not). I basically gave them $650 for free.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

I got my second car this summer, which is was a substantial upgrade, and so I wanted to have a more trusted mechanic to work on it. I was referred to D'Addario's by a family from my church, and they have definitely done a great job! They have done good work on my car so far and give good and honest recommendations without trying to needlessly trick/upsell me.

I've been taking my cars here for 2 years and have always been satisfied with the work they do. Their service has always been a good bit cheaper than other places I've gone but the work seems quality. I love that they always fully inspect my vehicle and include a printed out packet of any issues found to notify me, but don't push me to get everything fixed that day. Everything is always explained thoroughly and simply so I can understand what's going on, even though I'm not a car person.

I drive all the way from Colchester to D'Addario's, because I can trust D'Addario's to provide great service, the right advice, and a fair price. My family has been customers for over 40 years. Work was done as promised, on time as promised and for reasonable charges. Courteous and friendly service and an offer of ride home instead of waiting. Loved that. Returned some days later for some followup service. Given alternative options, and sent on my way free of charge,making me feel I was was dealing with a reliable and honest business.Services: Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Wiper blade installation, Oil change

I brought my 04 Honda Accord in for a possible wheel bearing issue and they did an amazing job with troubleshooting for an hour and fixing it for another hour. Customer service is outstanding when Curt reach out a week after to check if their work went well

I've been going to D'Addario's for over 4 years. My family has brought various cars to them as well.. I trust them completely with my car. I don't go anywhere else. I hear a noise and I pop in. They check for me within minutes and I'm out the door. I know they're completely honest with what needs to be fixed. I always recommend D'Addario's whenever I hear someone having car trouble. They've been very good to me; very knowledgeable and understanding.

Family owned and a high tech automive repair shop with most state of the art technology in automotive repairs. All staff is very knowlegable and very helpful as well as respectful to all customers. Prices are very reasonable and there work is always done rite with high quality workmanship.Ive been going to D'Addario's Auto Services for more than 20+ years and always 100% satisfied with the work that they do. I have been a customer of D'Addario's for over 17 years. I go back for the simplest things to major repairs because of the quality of work, the friendly atmosphere and most important..I trust them with any car that I bring them to repair. Just recently it was thought that I needed an expensive part due to the oil masking major areas of concern. However, once the mechanic was able to see without the oil impeding his view it was determined that the $900 dollar repair was not needed.. final cost $207.00. That is a sign of true integrity and excellent work. I will continue bringing my car(s) to D'Addario's because I definitely feel that they do a great job, they are honest and it's a great family business with a long history in the area.. I was referred some 17 years ago and I have referred others and they too feel as I do.

I heard about D'Addario's from an associate and I can finally say that I have found the Auto service I have always hoped and prayed for. We had some issues with my daughter's Subaru outback and after running the diagnostic we found out that it needed a neutral safety switch and there was a huge head gasket leak. For what we paid for the car it honestly isn't worth the cost of the fixing the head gasket. I was going to go ahead and fix the neutral safety switch but after speaking with the gentleman about what his thoughts were he was very upfront with the possibilities of not fixing the major issue. Unlike some other places I've been who would not hesitate to take my money the guy I spoke to was very honest. I look forward to working with them with all my future auto needs.

After having a conversation on the phone that my truck would be store inside over night, I brought my truck here and was told it wouldn t be inside overnight and if the catalytic converter was stolen they wouldn t be responsible. They don t have proper security, I would suggest bringing your car elsewhere
