The mecanic there has no mecanic license what so ever he was picked up off the street dont buy anything from there, they are scammer, the owners daughter she is the one who are the biggest scarmmer please don't buy vehicle in this place because you are going to loose she don't give money back and she put in the paperwork 30 days because she knows that the vehicle will give you problems, this vehicle comes from vehicle auctions where they don't get checked, this lady from this place still scamming people and motor vehicle need to be aware of this place

Don't be fooled by the name, this is not the Cox of old. The former, sadly recently-departed owner of Cox Service, Larry, was a longtime friend of my family and an absolute gentleman and professional. I have had emissions testing done here for many years. This morning I called to inquire about service and received a very odd, confusing greeting from whomever was answering the phone which did not in any way indicate that I was reaching a business. The individual was aggressive and aggressively repeated the same odd greeting despite the confusion. I called back to ensure I had dialed the right number and asked if I was reaching Cox Service Station, to which she snidely responded "No, this is ________ doing business as Cox Service" and then told someone it was "another prank caller". She was extremely rude and off-putting. I wouldn't wish to speak to this person again, let alone have my vehicle serviced there. It was an awful experience and in stark constrast the class and professionalism of the Cox Service Station that existed for so many years under Larry.

They don't do emissions test anymore. I wasn't able to go inside. There was a lady sitting in her car outside and asked how can she help. I said are you closed? She said can I help you? Already being rude but anyway I told her emissions test she said they don't do it anymore. I told her she should remove the sign that says emissions testing and she told me to write the town. I thought it was very rude of her. I could be a potential customer someday. Oh well. Their loss.

After two weeks of going back and forth with my regular mechanic, I got the recommendation to bring my 25yr old car here. I get that there is a lot of trial and error with older cars, but their first hunch was the right one.Appreciate their time and knowledge. Wish I had gone here first.

Over the phone price to pick up fee was double. Lack of information from this place caused me to over pay for services. Chain near me told me 1 to 2 hours and Cox charged for 3. This causes fees of another $100. Will never return.

Call before you go there. Hours posted for Saturdays: 8am to noon. No one was around at 8:30, all locked up.

Wasn't very good time wise and as far as greeting the customer. But it's closet one to me so I use them. Wouldn't go to get anything fixed, just went to get emissions done.

Went in to get emissions test. Was in and out , only took 15 mins. They are also a full service station for any repairs.

Listed as a emissions station, can never seem to perform that task. Always an excuse why it will be a while before it can be done.
