I brought my bmw through emissions, it failed. Had diagnostic done. Brought my car to this place and let me tell you. ... They did an awesome job!!! So far, so good with the work that was done. I expressed I'm not in a rush to get my car done, I know it will take time because it was a big job and it's German engineering. I rather you take the time you need and it's done right. They gave me a quote, reached out to me because something came up and explained that it would cost a little extra but gave me a discount on the labor. They called to update me on progress. Again I was in no rush, big job takes time. My car may have been in the shop for about 2 and a half weeks but very happy with the results. Price will always be high for repair it's a BMW. Please take into account you get what you pay for. Don't rush these guys they know what there doing give them the time they need to do it.Thank you alllllll for fixing. Car is back on the road and registered. It's running like when IFirst brought it 5 years ago. 100% worth time and money.Thx Cam for the car wash

Stay away from this place. My daughter was going to have work done on her car and all the wheels were stolen!! The owner claims absolutely no responsibility for the theft. He failed to secure the car and refuses to pay the $3.500 replacement costs.

Brought my vehicle in for 4 tires and was in and out in a flash. Everyone there was very pleasant. It's the place to go for all car care needs.

They smile in your face and add extra cost thinking others wont notice, I went in for sparkplug change and basic oil change ended up paying $421.86 then went for a radiator hose change and got charged $1,001 for parts and labor, make sure ya ask for an estimated paperwork of the job getting done before ya give it to them and check how long the car is getting worked on, cuz then we'll work on it for 2 hours and charger you labor for 4-5hrs at time. I gave them so many chances before i really dug into the paperwork and calculator

Professional shop and good people. I came here for a car detail and decided to keep coming for repairs on my car. The staff, including Cesar himself, were kind. Carmella is a sweetheart. I would highly recommend this place. Not related to the car service, but the lobby is clean with comfortable&clean seats. Which is always appreciated if you have to hang out while you wait.

There are so many auto body shops out there but Cesar's foreign car is hands down the best hard working people with the biggest hearts and are so understanding good customer service care is so hard to find but they absolutely % know what it's all about especially to the underpaid hardworking people they will work with you however they can to make it happen everytime so thanks you so much Cesar for everything g

I stopped by today after work for a tire leak and they were so kind to take care of me even though they were about ready to close. Carmella is such a sweet woman makes you feel like you ve known her forever! Happy to have found this shop I will be back :)Service: TiresService: Tires

My wife and I always have a great experience at Cesar s Foreign Cars and Repairs.Cesar, Carmela and Frank are awesome and their technicians are of high quality.Today, January 5, 2023 was another great service. We had our regular maintenance and repair. All concerns were addressed. Living in the south end of Hartford it is convenient to have a top notch repair facility that is close by. We service all 3 of our cars. This company is over and beyond my expectations. The service is spectacular Carmella and Caesar are great wonderful precise and a great wonderful positive attitude. I have been coming to Caesars for over 7 years if you want great service on a variety of things that they do.This is the best place to go for your vehicles. Prices are affordable. One of the best things that I like about this auto shop is that his family owned and they've dedicate their lives to make other people happy and satisfied. If you want great service great quality just stop on by cuz this is a top notch place.

Went here because I got a second estimate from them that was about $600 less than the first place.Arranged to get 2 tires, brakes, and rotors and reiterated that several times while I waited. The woman told me brakes would be about 1200 and 2 tires about 700 (runflats) so I said "ok so about $2000?" And she agreed.A few days later she called me and said "Did I give you an estimate? Can you tell me how much I told you this would be?" I found that unprofessional and an indicator that prices were totally made up and I was about to be overcharged. I told her exactly what she had told me.Went to pick up my car 2 weeks later and they had put on, not 2, but 4 new tires. My bill was 3400. And I was told that was with them "taking care of me." I nearly cried. They wouldn't cover the 2 tires I didn't approve nor could they remove them because they scrapped mine. So i was duped into paying them almost double. I am absolutely disgusted with the deceptive business practices and should've listened to the word around hartford to stay away.Icing on the cake was they poked fun that my oil service light hadn't been reset by the prior place. When I got my car home the service brakes indicator was still on and now I have to youtube to reset it.Never ever would I recommend.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Went for a repair. Tried to sell me a used transmission for an older car with "guaranteed low miles" but could not tell how they can guarantee it or where it came from or how many miles it has been through. Over 1400 for a used transmission is crazy when i can buy it myself for 600 brand new. On top of that, I didn't even go for a transmission repair. I went for fuel injectors. One of the most expensive garages I have ever been to. Took almost a week to get diagnostic. I spent 80 bucks online for ALL SIX fuel injectors and installed them myself. They wanted to charge me almost $1000 just for that. Guess what, the transmission is perfectly fine and the car operate effectively. I get that times are hard with covid but the prices are crazy.In total I was quoted for a little over $3,000. I fixed it myself for 80 bucks and a couple hours of labor.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Finding someone work on my car has been a nightmare, but bringing it here was great. From the customer service. the quality of work, and just how clean shop was just overall great. I m leaving one star because zero stars isn t possible otherwise I wouldn t even give them a star. Took my car in for an ac problem and they recharged my car and added the dye and quoted me $150 which I thought was already too high but I went with it anyway. I came back later on the day to pick up my car only to be met with a $200+ bill which was outrageous for a recharge. So I paid went home and 3 days later my ac went out again. I had an appointment at another shop to have my front bumper repaired so my car was at that shop for 3 weeks getting repaired and by the time I was able to bring my car back in it was already a month so when I took my car back into Cesar s l was told that I waited too long and that I would have to recharge for another $50 that s already $250+ without a fix to my problem, so I cut my losses at over $200 and with no problem fixed. Just basically gave away over $200 for free. Looks like a high class shop with low class people. I recommend you go to a different shop or be prepared to get ripped off. I just took my car today to Meineke for the same problem and they charged me $99 for a recharge and said that if it leaked out they would recharge for free that I will only pay to fix the leak. That s what you call good honest people. Stay away from this shop.

Cesar, the front desk staff, and the auto techs are genuinely good, nice people. I've been going here for a while and I always leave happy. They have a new clean shop, too. Can't recommend them more, they're great!

Horrible service! I brought my car in to have them fix my rack and pinion. They fixed that problem and gave my car back with a whole new problem. I never once had a problem with my check engine light and now I do. I go to bring my car back and tell them that my check engine light came on and they said that they will fix it. But all they did was clear the code on my car and gave it back. I drive my car for one day and BOOM! My light is on AGAIN! And now my car won t even pass 40mph and the needle stays stuck on 2,000 rpm s. Unbelievable! Not only that, I have a 1 month old baby that I have to bring to appointments, I have a job and go to school as well. It s just crazy. They got paid a pretty penny to do what they had to do on my car and honestly don t even deserve to keep that money.

I originally started coming here in 2016 because my fianc� recommended it since her parents and her sisters came here. They were great for a few years up till the end of 2020 when we found out from my fianc� s parents they stopped coming here for many reasons. However, TWO important reasons being that they started overcharging immensely and were there every week if not every month with a problem that they said they fixed but didn t and making it cause more problems to the car as well. In December of 2020, I got new front breaks and an oil change from them. Around the beginning of May of this year (2021) I needed to go and fill up my car with windshield washer fluid (which I never have to do and have never had to lift open the hood for that matter). I go to do so and the inside lever handle doesn t work allowing my hood to not open. So I go to them to see what the deal is since I was just around the corner and they said the cable that connects it to open is broken. I went back into the shop tell the lady who works there (who isn t a mechanic) that I have never opened my hood ever. She didn t care and then decided to pull a price out of thin air without looking into it on her computer or letting a MECHANIC handle it that it would be $250-$350 to fix it. I told her I don t have that kind of money. She didn t care. I SHOULDN T HAVE TO PAY FOR SOMETHING THEY BROKE!!!!!! So I decided that s enough I go somewhere else only to found out this month (June) of this year (2021) that the front breaks I got back in DECEMBER OF 2020 are starting to bad again. This is completely and utterly unfair to me. I WILL NEVER BE COMING BACK AND YOU SHOULD NEVER COME HERE SO LOOK ELSEWHERE. THEY ARE OVERLY EXPENSIVE AND WILL GIVE YOU FAULTY AND OLD PARTS AND MAKE YOU PAY FOR STUFF THEY BREAK!!!!!Services: Brakes, Oil change

Worse place ever! Brought my car in for a problem and they told it it has a million problems. They told other people who have the same car that it has similar problems and that's how they get you! Your car can have one problem but they make you believe that it has many problems so that you can pay more money, then your left paying a ton of money to get it fixed and when I got my car it had NO gas and they had took out my battery for no apparent reason and they were looking all over for it until they found it and now my car is so much worse then when I brought it in! Never again! Customers beware!

Took my money. Simply made me believe they can fix a simple check engine light. Which I m sure any mechanic can do. They just figured they drag me along by just repeatingly clearing the system. Take my money for some unnecessary repair that I didn t grant permission for. They will tell you one thing and then another. You will begin to suspect they are either clueless or up to something. Common sense tells me their brochure are advertising this organization to be expertise in this particular field. So why is it taking multiple visits to fix and simple misfiring engine? These people will make it seem like they are doing everything to help; when in reality they are doing everything possible to do very little. Spoke to the owner Caesar, you can tell he was the head of the snake, for he already had what he wanted to say planned out in his head. He continuously repeated himself in efforts to convince me that the shop has already done more than expected. And I should just accept that and be happy. When he in fact contradicted himself by stating that his business is customer service based and the customer satisfication is what they strive to achieve. When I explained to him that I am not satisfied due to the fact that my car is in the same condition that I brought it to them. Same symptoms. Car still couldn t pass emissions, car still has rough idle. I m sure it could ve been something simple such as a tune up, but they figured they take me for the longest ride, in which they did. Will never return in the future. I suggest you know exactly what you need to be fixed and have a quoted price for labor because these people will say anything and throw a price at you; and make it seem like they did you a favor. Very manipulative business tactics being practiced at this place. They come off genuine, but inside they are money starved. They all been doing this for years. Understand that. I ll rather pay for the learning experience than ask for my refund. They obviously felt like they needed more than I did.

Cesar has been taking care of my cars for over 20 years. From the simple to the complex, he handles it all competently, efficiently and reasonably. He is a truly great mechanic and as honest as the day is long. I hope he keeps me on the road for another 40 years!

I took my Ford F350 pick up truck to them to repair the A/C ... after three attempts to repair it they did not succeed and they charged me $ 853.00. I do not recommend that place... they seem unprofessional. The mechanics do not really know what they are doing.

Finally I think I found a good mechanic.Friendly staff all around. From Caesar to Carmella and Bob.I only had some tires mounted and balanced but will be bringing my car for all servicing here from now on.
