I brought my car here because I won a free detailing and let me tell you that they went above and beyond!!!!!!!they didn t care it was a free detailing. They work hard on this car looks brand new. I highly recommend this place. I will be taking my suv here next.

I had an excellent experience with everyone at CARSTAR. It was a pleasure from start to finish. Although my car was deemed totaled, they were incredibly kind and understanding when it came time for me to clean out my vehicle.

From beginning to end my experience with carstar and employees was great. Communication was on point. Everytime there was a change they informed me right away with a message then followed by a phone call that day. No hassle at all. If I need car repair in future I will be going to carstar of East Hartford.

The worst place ever ! DON T GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH RACIST PEOPLE. They will disrespect you and talk down to you. JOHN PAUL THE MANAGER CALLED MY HUSBAND A ANIMAL AND A CHILD ! He was very racist ! They messed with my odometer and my vehicle causing the check engine light to be on. John Paul and car star is the worst by far! They will fix something to mess something else up to have you come back. Trust me u will never deal with them again. Just know ct is very small and we will be seeing each other out side of your work so that racism will not get you very far. You can t sit there and disrespect and yell at a man for addressing his concerns. Your lack of service and mouth is going to cost you one day and your job . Don t waste your time taking your vehicle here unless you would like an even more damaged car and a hefty bill . I believe they are committing some type of fraud with insurance because there is no way they charged them an arm and a leg for just a small screw sticking out! You guys keep harassing me about a review here it is ! Car star Don t waste your time to responding to this review just so you can look good and act like you care. You clearly don t care I have videos of house disrespectful your employee was to me and my husband. Just like when John put two and two together he tried to record me . At least on my video shows how rude he was and how else admitted he doesn t care about how we feel and how terrible his customer service was. Everyone who knows me knows I don t play when it comes to my family or property.

The service you guys gave is awesome. The guys who fixed my car are very thorough clean and it feels like I'm driving a brand new car again.... This is my second time getting a second car fixed and I just love the service..... And after they're done with the car they cleaned my car inside and made it so clean I would recommend carstar to anybody that needs their vehicle fixed..... You guys really do a good job..... The team was very professional and kept me informed on the repair process the whole time they were in possession of my vehicle. They were very patient when answering my questions and even made accommodations to fit in an additional repair request. By far the worst place ever . John Paul manager was very disrespectful calling us horrible names. Carstar damaged our vehicle. And will not ever recommend. They changed my odometer and our lights on dashboard came on . Only came in for a bumper fix they did more than was asked and was by far disrespectful when addressed the issue.

Wow what can I say about carstar, the staff are very professional and friendly they would walk you step by step and make sure that you re getting what you really need for your vehicle needs. And what can I say about Barbra wow friendly kind and just wow she will make sure you get your rental set so when you drop your car off you are ready to go. My vehicle was hit in a parking lot in my passenger side door and bumper area. We went through Carstar in E Hartford for the repair and were extremely satisfied with the results. The work is seamless and looks like new. This location also cleaned my car prior to pick up inside + out.They went above and beyond when they decided to repair my inside visor on the drivers side. It was taped up and hanging from a thread for months as we hadn t taken the time to get it fixed. Someone at Carstar must have noticed this and done the repair as it was like new when we picked up our vehicle. This was such an awesome surprise as that visor had been causing much frustration. Amazing service! Thank you so much.Couldn t recommend this place more! Well done.Service: Body & Trim

CARSTAR is the must outstanding automotive repair company in Connecticut. They re very professional and does and excellent job when repairing your vehicle. I am not only pleased with the work they did on my car but they also gave me back my car looking brand new with even the interior/exterior clean and detailed. From now on starting December 19,2022 each member of my family and friends will only use CARSTAR to take car of our vehicles if and when they are an accident. Also I gave them a 5 star rating but they deserves a 10 stars rating. Excellent, excellent, excellent job!Ms. BService: Painting

Carstar performed body repair work on my vehicle. The repairs were as expected, excellent. I received daily updates on the status of the repair, all the staff were helpful, informative, and professional. Stay away from this shop. I had a small dent in rear quarter panel and they quoted me $2400 as a "start". I received another quote in West Hartford for $1300 and came out great. They told me they were backed up 6 weeks before car could get fixed so they obviously doubled my quote because they were so busy.

My vehicle was involved in a hit and run, so my insurance provided me with various options for the repair. I had a closer location to choose from, however, the reviews did not convinced me that it was going to be a good place for me. I started my research and although CARSTAR East Hartford was about 30 minutes for me, I decided to bring my car here thanks to the great reviews.And they were not wrong. JP and Dieb are very personable. The service was phenomenal and very quick (it only took like 3 days to repair the whole front of my vehicle). I received daily messages/calls with the progress of the repair which is helpful to have an idea and be able to plan ahead! When I picked up my vehicle, JP walked me through everything as he explained the work done line by line as stated in the receipt/bill.I am very grateful for the service and the easy process. Also they make it easy with the rental process as they make sure the vehicle is there for you when you leave your vehicle for repair.Thank you!!!LizServices: Painting, Body & Trim

I have known the Kelly family for a long time (can it be forty years?!).We have taken our cars to them for body work many times and they always treat us like family. Carstar was professional and efficient from start to finish. JP was awesome and friendly. The whole passenger side of my truck had to be replaced due to a accident. The paint matches and looks great. CARSTAR East Hartford has fabulous Customer Service. I submitted photos of the damage on my car late in the evening and by 10:30 the next day a representative of CARSTAR was on the phone with me setting up the schedule for my repair . As it was an insurance claim I knew I was responsible for the $500 Deductible so I did not need more of an estimate as they were an approved Facility by State Farm .CARSTAR communicated with me by text and phone several times before my appointment.After I dropped my car off for repairs I received daily updates on the status of the repairs to my car.I picked up my car today and the repairs to my car were perfect ! You would never know there had been damage to the rear of my car . In addition the inside had been detailed.I will definitely recommend CARSTAR to everyone. They receive a perfect score from me ! They met and exceeded my expectations !Services: Painting, Body & Trim
