I am giving 5 stars, A+, 100% and that is just the surface. I truly appreciate the customer service but also their knowledge and expertise. I was referred to Paul and Brian with super high regards and they seriously deliver. Not to sound cliche but these guys exude integrity.

I recently had transmission issues with my recently purchased used car, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received from this repair shop. They were incredibly helpful, addressing the problem swiftly and going above and beyond to explain the issue and present my repair options. The guys here are great. They're very professional and informative. They detailed exactly what was wrong with my transmission and gave me a fair estimate for the repair. The work was done in a reasonable time and they guarantee their work. Highly recommended!

I discovered Capital Transmission several years ago. I was told by a mechanic that I needed a new transmission, so I brought my car in for a second opinion. Brian and Paul thoroughly inspected the car, test drove it, and then explained that it just needed new spark plugs! They are professionals with integrity. They seem to think that if they do a good job and treat people fairly that good karma will come back to them in the long run. Three years later, when I really did need a new transmission, I went to them without hesitation. I tell everyone who will listen about Capital Transmission!

I found Capitol Transmission & Auto Care through recommendation from a friend at work! I was so sad when I found out my Transmission went out on the day of my Birthday (do emojis show? It s the crying one)! Paul from Capitol Transmission checked my 2019 Nissan Sentra SR throughly! He ensured me the possibilities of what it could have been. He was informative and helpful throughout my whole process. I didn t feel like I was being taken advantage of and felt comfortable my car was in good hands. All in all my transmission needed to be replaced and I am thankful for the support!

Nothing short of a 10/10 experience with these guys. You are doing your vehicle a major disservice by not trusting your transmission work to Paul and Brian. Support local and leave it to a family run business since the 1930 s.

Excellent, outstanding, professional, thorough, respectful, honest, customer centric = are some to the words I can think of this place. As soon as you walk in you can find an organized office, with friendly staff. Paul is exceptional with taking time to listen to your concerns and he will address them and explain the option, and Brian will also take care of you if Paul is not there. I CAN GIVE THEM A 120% , YES PLEASE TAKE YOUR CAR WITH CONFIDENCE TO THIS PLACE.

Rebuilt trans went aftef about 4500 miles and $5,000 to rebuild. Diagnosis at different shop is that they use low quality parts for critical components that will fail prematurely. I understand a manual transmission is a bit different but if you cannot work on it properly don't say you can, results show.

These guys were amazing. I thought I had a transmission problem but after a road test it turns out that it was something else. He charged me not a penny, gave me a referral for where I should go and sent me on my way. It was wonderful. I hope I don t have to see him soon but if no do, I ll know where to go.

Love this place. Brian and Paul were thorough and responsive to my numerous questions. Even though I know very little about cars they didn t make me feel like an idiot, which many car service techs tend to do with a young, inexperienced woman as a customer. They showed me the issues on the car in person and explained their reasoning, which helped me plan next steps. Definitely coming back here when I need it!Service: Transmission

Paul was very helpful and committed to helping me with my vehicle. When my transmission went bad in my Nissan out of nowhere.. Paul was adamant about getting my vehicle into the shop quickly before a larger problem could arise. He fit me into his very busy schedule and got the job done The whole staff was very helpful and efficient.Exceptional service, I will definitely be returning if I need something in the future.

Came across this business on Yelp after searching far and wide in the area for auto shops that provide great service and priced reasonably, with no sacrifice to quality. Needed my car towed for a transmission replacement, and Paul was very accommodating and informative from start to finish. The job was completed quickly and Paul even went so far to replace other worn out parts at no charge. Would recommend this shop to any and everyone going forward. Only bad thing I can say is rating them 10 stars is not an option.

I had a great experience with Capital Transmission. That i'd like to share, Paul and Brian are first class. The customer service I received was outstanding. They not only rebuilt our transmission for a very reasonable price and timely. ButBrian went above and beyond to find and replace a bad computer. They did an excellent job on my 2008 Dodge Dakota. The bolts were rusty/seized but they took care of it when other shops would not.

This outfit is the best. First, my niece came here a couple years ago and she was very happy. I came on the recommendation of another garage, as I thought my transmission was loud and shifting roughly. They checked it and drove my car, and told me everything was fine. No charge. I thought my car had a transmission problem. I called Capitol Transmission and talked to Paul. He told me to bring it in and they would look at it. He called me and to my surprise it was not the transmission and the diagnostic test was at no charge. I truly recommend them for your car. I found them to be honest and they put the customer first. I will bring my car to them because I trust them with it.

Ended up having a blown transmission. Paul and his team got me in quick and we re able to get me a new transmission installed in only a few business days. They got the work done (transmission on my Nissan Rogue) with no trouble so far and gave me a 3 year warranty. They were able to accommodate me quickly and they were finished even sooner than originally anticipated. All interactions run in a professional manner from start to finish. Clean shop. Very nice, friendly, patient staff/ owners as well. I also compared what they offered me to a couple of other highly rated services in this area and they beat others in overall estimate. Will be using them in the future if needed.

The guys are great conversationalist, and very down to earth. They were completely upfront and honest with me told me exactly what my transmission was going to cost even though it ended up being a little bit cheaper. Their shop was absolutely impeccable. There wasn t a piece of dust on the floor and everything was well organized, up and out-of-the-way. Their office was the same. That says a lot about how a business operates. Brian was extremely helpful when my car broke down a long way from home. He spent the time to talk through the issue with me on the phone, come up with a plan before I arrived, and had us back on the road in no time!
