Today was my second time coming here and my last. Im done with BJs and the rest of the club membership grocery stores. The amount of anxiety and rudeness you receive for just coming in is ridiculous. The first time I went. I had got my membership online so I didn t have a card and before I could even ask where the desk was to obtain one I had a worker all in my face telling me I couldn t come in before even listening to what I had to say. Now today was the last straw. Today your fake security guard at the door stopped me and was extremely rude about a case of water that BJs cashier didn t scan right when she initially scanned(so it wasn t on the receipt). And after going back to the line and getting a receipt for the waters that weird guy at the door took pictures of both my receipts on his personal phone. Idk why BJS thinks it s okay to have their employees take pictures on their personal phones of employees receipts that honestly have people s card info and even in some cases their name. I m done with BJS AND ME MY FAMILY AND OTHERS FEELING LIKE THEIR BEING AGGRESSED TOWARD OR BEING RUDE TOWARDS FOR WALKING INTO A STORE AND TRYING TO SHOP LIKE ANYONE ELSE

When getting gas no one reads the sign and moves up behind a car creating a huge line where state transit and any other cars now have to navigate through. When the gas attendant was informed that someone needs to be there to direct people (no one was paying cash for gas) he said "I've done it. They don't listen." And continued sitting in his box. I have been to so many BJs across the state and the country and have never seen this level of incompetence from employees or stupidty from members! Trust me any savings in gas here are not worth the headache or your safety!

Purchased a $500 TV from BJ's using One time pass #BJU0080453. The TV arrived with a huge whole in the box and you could see straight through to the TV. I was told by the delivery driver that I could decline the TV and that they would send it back to the Warehouse so I can get my refund. I then call Bj's the next day and they say that declining the package was the right thing to do and that they would process the refund once the TV was received. Over a month has passed and I still haven't received a refund. Every time I contact BJ's they state that there unsure if there warehouse has received the TV from CEVA, the delivery company and now I stuck holding the bag for a TV I never received. I've contacted them several times and every time they say that they can see that I never received the TV and that it was returned with the delivery driver as recommended but since that warehouse isn't responding to them and letting them know if they received the TV or if the delivery company still has it they can't initiate a refund. Now I stuck without $500 or a TV and there's nothing I can do about it. I asked Toni, the supervisor I spoke with on the phone, what would happen if the warehouse never responds and she states that they will not be able to initiate a refund. Long story short be careful ordering Items from BJ's, they might just rob you.

Very bad experience. Manager is so rude don't care about customers who's been with Bjs almost 10 years ago. They display a wrong price for item and Don't want to offer that price at all. I have to wait for 30 minutes for him to come out his office and still ignore me and said can't do anything either take it or leave that's not his problem. End up only giving me a 1 which I want a 2 but never helped with anything. West Hartford CT BJ's is worst ever. Again they need to hire a professional and helpful staff specifically the so called Managers

Too stunned to even speak . All I m going to say is upper management needs to ensure the safety of all guest while on their property.Getting caught in middle of a heated situation that I have nothing to do with .. has left a nasty taste in my mouth at this place .Which ever employee drives a gold/tan Toyota Camry speeding in parking lot needs to be removed from here . The brawl over heated drug deal/bm/ bd issues is personal issues that need to be handled else where . Where other people s life s are not put at risk . why does this location not have security

This store is awesome! The staff is so incredibly friendly and always willing to help. I have gone to this BJ's numerous times and each time an employee has offered to help me, scan my items at self checkout, or just asked how my day was going. The prices are great and they have a large selection of snacks. Their produce is fantastic (great quality and great prices). The parking lot is large and the store itself is easy to get to. I highly recommend this establishment.

How can a parking lot be 1/3 full and there not be enough shopping carts for everyone?

I used to Love bjs, now I just like it They're variety is wonderful, usually they have everything stocked up, pandemic shopping however has had its challenges. Nothing worst than paying a fee on top of groceries (membership) to shop somewhere thats always out of the stuff I need, basic stuff like chicken on the 12th of the month!! Its ridiculous, I know pandemic has a bit yo do with that, thats why I still shop here.

The staff is really solid. Some great produce just watch expiration dates. They have regular brand dog food which is a huge bonus and way less than typical stores. Some fun odds and ends as well

- a star from previous review because the digital coupon system is trash. Half the times the coupon doesn't register and if you have multiple items the 2nd item doesn't get the coupon deducted. This comes off as shady and a ripoff to customers that dont catch this error on their receipts.

Still one of my preferred BJ s locations in the CT/MA area with a decent selection of vegan items (Gardein and Vega!!) but today s visit was conflicting -They carry Muscle Milk as a non-dairy product (as labeled by the manufacturer) but has milk products as the first few ingredients? BJ s, FAIL. Have your product development team do some research. I hear Google works well.

As far as warehouse stores go, this one is pretty average. There are not enough free samples, and when there are, they are all for products I don't want to sample. What's more, their lettuces tend to start rotting weeks before the date on the package indicates.Something always smells slightly foul by the deli counter. I never buy anything from there for that reason.I do like their free valet parking, though it seems like the valet went on break while I was inside, and I'm now having trouble finding where they parked my car.

On the weekdays the associates throughout the entire store are super helpful especially when checking out but this weekend crew at checkout all they did the whole time was stand around the courtesy counter describing an incident to one another rather then assist customers Even As the light was blinking. Very much annoyed especially at the arrogance of the young cashier when I asked for help

If I can give i it no stars I would. Everytime we go the employee at the door stops us for over 2 minutes. She always thinks we are stealing. I'm really getting fed up with this store. I'll be calling corporate for a complaint today. Next time I go into the store. I'm taking the cashier with me . To let her know I paid for everything. Ridiculous

If I had the option to give no stars, that's what this BJs location would get. I'm so surprised this location has not been forced to close their doors! From the time enter until you leave, you encounter nothing but rudeness and attitude from the staff. And management is even worse, if you can believe it gets worse. I always visit the Manchester store, 1000 times better. I visit this location when in dire need. I rather travel a hundred miles to another location than this location. Jermaine, who calls himself a manager, must be paying bjs for the manager title. He has no business working with the public. He has no customer service skills whatsoever but why should I be surprised, no one at this location does.Corporate should do everyone a favor and shut this location down.

I just spent $400 with my digital BJ s card in store and when I went to go use my digital BJ s car to get gas the gas pump didn t wanna scan my digital card and so I actually attended to help me. And she advised me that she could not help me. This is very inconvenient. If I would ve known that my digital card was not gonna work at the gas pump. I would ve done my groceries elsewhere. BJ s you need to upgrade your system and do better you seriously inconvenienced your customers.

My colleague and I went to BJ's to purchase a very large amount of Gatorade during the heatwave today in W. Hartford, Ct. The General Manager Mr. Mike Russell and his crew of two- Jose Alvarado and Jeffrey Labatte were excellent! Not only were they knowledgeable, but assisted us with kindness and respect. It was a true pleasure working with these gentlemen at this establishment. Need some help, look for anyone of them! I highly recommend them!

When you want to get treated like a criminal, come shop here. Security in and out felt like TSA. Not friendly, inviting, and very rude. And they touched my items on the way out. Shop elsewhere if you can. Horrible shopping experience, not the BJs I know.

I order pick up every week. At the beginning most of the time items were missing. I had to go inside wait in line up to an hour to talk to the front desk. After that experience I asked the person who brings the groceries to wait until I check all the items. My new issue now is that they gave me bad groceries. I ve requested to give money back but no one has replied.

This is not specific to the West Hartford store, it's an evaluation of BJ's as a corporate entity.Everything used to be OK with BJ's but that changed 6 or so months ago and it is now a most unpleasant experience to shop there.Let s list what I ve had to endure over the past few months:-valid coupons not being accepted-gift cards that are useless-gas discounts not honored-customer service (at the corporate level) coming up with platitudes and excuses rather than solutions to the problems BJ's has created.

I have never visited a BJ's and was interested in price comparison to Costco. Very shortly after being in BJ'S I realized they are about $5 more expensive than Costco on everything. As I went to leave the store I was quickly approached by a male employee who asked me to lift my dress! I can only assume they thought I was stealing as the only thing I looked at was a pair of denim shorts. After the store associate realized I wasn't wearing the shorts he then asked me to look in my purse. I complied with both request because I was not doing anything wrong. The whole incedent took place in front of the checkout line.
