bad service. customer service agents on the phone were rude and snappy. the first woman i spoke to didn t even put in our help request after we told her we were on the side of the road in a dangerous area. then another agent hung up in the middle of me explaining our situation to her calmly. waited for two hours before calling back 20 minutes after our maximum wait time and then they sent all the texts and links they were supposed to. extremely long service time, rude agents, poor service

This is ridiculous. It was 3:45, 4/9/24 West Hartford Ct Triple AAA branch. A male representative who I dealt with didn t have to apologize, but should not make it sound like his customer doesn t know what he/she is doing or put the blame on his customer. He told me I have to make an appointment for license renewal so if I want I can make one now. I told him I called ahead of time and they said no appointment is needed. He showed me the DMV notice I brought with me and said appointment is needed. I told him I know (I know how to read) that s why I called and I showed him on my phone what time I did. He said whoever I spoke to is wrong and if I know his name. Why would I know his name? I asked him if there s a way I can get it done today since I did my part and it s not my fault. He then being wise again asking me if the person I spoke to said he s not in West Hartford. If I called West Hartford Triple AAA, and another center pick up the call, how would the customers know unless they are told that? I said ok, how is Tripple AAA going to avoid this in the future because this happened before to me. He said call and make an appointment. I ask him what if I call to make an appointment, but are told I don t need one, just show up. I m writing this to point out that instead being sassy or pontificate, he could ve explain in a more appropriate manner especially when it was Triple AAA system that needs to improve. Hopefully, this issue gets looked at and get fixed to avoid future problem. FYI, the last time it was a passport photo but whoever the representative I talked to was pleasant.Update - The same representative that helped me with my passport photo last time did my license renewal today. She was informative, patient, cordial and personable. Her name is Stacy. Thank you.

I needed a duplicate non-drivers ID & it took less than half an hour from start to finish... AAA is the place for convenient, courteous, speedy DMV topics ... I would recommend the service to everyone

I go here often for the free* maps (*free to AAA members). You can also buy insurance, movie tickets, and vacations here, as well as renew your driver's license. My favorite part of the experience is the Hartford Pope (car) that they have prominently displayed in the lobby. It is a fine looking car, the likes of which are no longer manufactured.The parking lot is a little tight, though.

Leverage AAA today to renew a Driver s license. Quick appt process online. (Actually found through Apple Maps) Went in, Friday lunch afternoon time. Quick check in with AAA first. $6 fee to avoid going to a full DMV. Worth it. Super nice team.

Disappointed with AAA's Check-In Fee PolicyI have been a loyal member of AAA for a year now, relying on their services for roadside assistance and peace of mind during travels. However, I recently encountered an issue that has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.During a recent visit to a AAA service center, I was shocked to discover that they charge a check-in fee just to announce my arrival, despite being a paying member. Non member $8.00 - Member $6.00. As someone who values the convenience and reliability of AAA's services, I find it unacceptable to be charged extra for simply confirming my presence.This check-in fee policy feels like an unnecessary burden on loyal members like myself, especially considering the already substantial membership fees. It's disheartening to see AAA prioritize additional charges over the satisfaction and loyalty of its members.Regrettably, this experience has led me to question the value of my AAA membership. While I have appreciated the assistance provided in the past, I cannot justify renewing my membership if this is the direction AAA is headed.In conclusion, I urge AAA to reconsider its check-in fee policy and prioritize the needs and satisfaction of its members. As for me, I will be exploring alternative roadside assistance options that better align with my expectations and values.Thank you for considering my feedback.

I have had my Auto and Homeowner's insurance with this company for 9 years. My experiences with the Claims Dept for auto and most recently homeowner's, has been horrendous. The worst customer service (or lack of) I have ever dealt with. Complete lack of response and no follow-up.Leaving messages & getting no return calls; sending emails with no reply back, ever. Zero appreciation for being a loyal customer for many years.

Went there to renew my Mathers driver license, place completely empty , lots of employees. I was called instantly and when I said that I didn t have a appointment he said I can give you one for tomorrow Unbelievable!!!! And the sad thing is that nobody cares anymore!! How many 1 star reviews will take to change them??

Wish I could give 0 stars. Terrible customer service. Sent a despicable tow company which caused serious problems for me damaging another vehicle on the car shop's lot which caused the shop owner distress. AAA nor the tow company they sent out took any accountability and did absolutely nothing to try to resolve the issue. Cancelled membership and refused to issue me a refund for all the trouble I dealt with. Lost me as a loyal customer

I WAS WITH AAA FOR YEARS IN ECONOMY INSURANCE IN SPRINGFIELD MA AND THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME LIKE IF I WAS A NEW CLIENT. BUT THANKS CAUSE AFTER MORE THAN 15 YEARS WITH THEM THEY LOST A GOOD CLIENT. BE BLESSED

Didn't come all night I called them throughout the night to come to my car because I lost my keys and I didn't want anybody to take the car because it was a rental they never came at all not stayed up all night calling and they said they sent somebody else they never came

This review is not for this location but due to them affiliated and recommending the use of Reno Auto Body & Repair, AAA is also responsible for the emotional distress and physical damage to my car! Reno Auto Body is unprofessional and spiteful. I had to call the police as they caused damage to my car and was rude to me by yelling, threatening me and slamming their window door in my face. I had to contact the police and AAA as I never experience such hostility from a company! Shame on you AAA for recommending them

Great, fast, hassle-free services & lots of much, MUCH quicker (weeks) & also seemingly easier to get it done!This is all despite the DMV now, FINALLY- after years of frustratingly long, confusing & endless loops of differing kinds of lines that 1 had to devote an ENTIRE DAY TO (& still, more times than not, only to end up having to return yet again on another day. With a missing document, or other various, obscure paperwork or something that they tell you can only be obtained by picking it up, in-person & also in Vancouver, Canada - where u ve never lived in or even been to! Well, in more recent times & most certainly due to the all-too-familiar, covid-adopted-new-standard-of-rules the DMV has changed their policy to finally providing appointment dates + times for people to schedule -aka : be absolutely forced into- (*note: NO MORE WALK-INs!!*)- an appointment in advance & on their website as well as @ AAA. But the difference between the 2 is that AAA (if not a member) maybe a tiny bit more expensive than a typical price for something done @ the DMV.But, mainly- NOT having to wait WEEKS for the next free appointment time at the DMV is worth it! Seriously, especially when it s just not an option to wait! Great, unique and fair-priced stuff for travel is on sale in side the AAA, & items are obviously well-made quality work sold by lovely, very helpful, kind individuals that genuinely appear to be engaged (unlike the robot/drone who doesn t meet ur gaze or show u any emotion or respect when u have finally reached ur turn to have a chance to speak w/ the employee @ the DMV counter who simply states, in complete monotone indifference , that u just spent the last 6 hours in the wrong line! While she shouts NEXT! much, MuCH louder than u can spit out- in utter shock & absolute disbelief- try your best to just clarify- so then, it s WHICH line? )

Yesterday, the last 2 female phone reps I talked to were very helpful fixing a billing issue for me and explained all the benefits of AAA membership. Thinking about upgrading my Plus membership in the near future. Also my AAA driver, Justin, was very nice and helpful towing my car safely to the repair shop. Very grateful for AAA service.

Rude lazy incompetent workers there, also my appt renewal liscense was for 1:30 didn't get called till 2 pm what's the point of making appt, then charge 8$ fee to renew there ontop of renewal fee 96$ triple aaa making money off people charging they fee back then was no fee

They cannot keep any employees. I have had a 3 hour wait just for a jump start and a 4 hour wait for a jump start in less than 4 months! They need to really shape up and do their jobs. They also left an elderly friend of mine out in a bad area for over 3 hours stranded near Boston!

Waited for two hours and my was not tow. They could not get tow the same day.. Last year they was great.. Im thinking about cancel it next year because I already pay for this year..

Kyle was very attentive n explained everything to me. I thank him very muchBut 6 months later I still NEVER got my ID.Went back n they said I had to pay again.This time I went to motor vehicle. Still had to pay again. So it cost me $60 for a. Non driver ID. Unbelievable.

The A.A.A. office is located at 983 Farmington Ave, about a mile east of the West Hartford center. It's a convenient place to renew your Ct. license, set up or renew an A.A.A. membership that gives you the privilege of being towed to your garage or home if your car breaks down, change your flat tire, jump your dead battery or unlock your car if need be.I went to the AAA office to renew my car registration, and to my dismay and ignorance, i was told that the office only renews licenses but not registrations. My membership would expire in 18 days, so I decided to wait for this one.I came across maybe 5 clients in line and 3 clients in different stages of accommodations, waiting for their pictures getting taken, filling forms and what not.Still, all of us were promptly served by 4 workers. We didn't spend much time in line and within minutes we were all taken care of and out of the door in no time.For me, this membership is well worth the price.

Excellent customer service .! Quick tow service and knowledge staff .friendly.track your driver and discounts galore!! Best and must have for emergency road side services Love my AAA! Quick Update!! I just got my license renewed and I even got the passport star in 15min or less!! No lines ! No sweat! Customer service is better than ever!!
