Great place to buy tires, The owner is very helpful, and the guys are pretty quick, but this place can be very busy. Prices are reasonable, and the quality of the used tires are better than other used tire places. They also offer flat repair and wheel repair.Looking at some of the negative reviews...no, they don't do alignments. If your car is in need of an alignment, replacing the tires will not solve it-in fact, it can make the issue more evident. If you are buying a tire for significantly less somewhere else, try checking the brand(inferior) or the speed/heat/load ratings of the tires (poor) or the date code (yes, tires expire and become dangerous 6-8 years after the date of manufacture). Flat tires cannot always be fixed-if your tire is shredded {the reason should be obvious), if you drove on it while flat (the tire breaks down internally and is dangerous) or if there are sidewall punctures, they cannot be legally repaired. If you asked for matching tires, he will do his best to find them, but it is pretty difficult to do, because of the nature of the supply of used tires. However, it is impossible to have four different branded tires with only two different treads as one person claims happened to them. Rude service? No. I have bought many tires from them and never witnessed anything but polite service, even to "difficult" customers. I have recommended this place to many of my friends and acquaintances, and they have also been very happy with Quality Used Tires.

Excellent service! I went with a need for 2 used front tire due to wear from overdue alignment. Was able to get a great price and was in and out in less than a half hour. Going back in a few weeks to get a set of tires for new rims! Keep up the great work!

The guys are very nice. They are fast. I asked for a huge favor for the owner to teach me to change a tire just in case I ever get stuck I would know how to do it. He took his time making sure I knew step by step and was able to perform each skill in order to get the tire off and the spare on. I am very thankful he took time out of his day teach me.

On vacation my tire ran over a very large metal object. I took my car to pep boys because I have a warranty but they would not honor it so I called Quality used tire to see if the had my size in stock. It was a great experience to have friendly fast service with an affordable price for a good user tire. I feel much better driving home on the replacement instead of the spare that pep boys suggested.

These guys are so kind & helpful! Got a flat in Hamden on my way from VT to Brooklyn & they were able to put a new (used) tire on my car that matched the tread level of the other three for a great price in about 10 minutes flat!! I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Plan and simple, you need tires or tire related work. This is the place you want to go. I went to have my tires sensor check.... They save me $480... The manager was straight with the fact!

Great place! Pulled up with completely bald front tires and left with matching front tires that where pretty much brand new for 130 out the door full installed and I was only there 15 min. Great staff that even helped me pay less then I was planning to.

Really nice friendly guys! Got me in and out with 2 new tires! The little guy there is very funny and professional! Didn t feel like a corporate atmosphere, it was comfortable!

Probably one of the best tire and rim repair shops in the tri-state area The staff is very friendly and not only fix your problem but explain to you what your problem is and show you.The shop definitely employs very skilled technicians and welders They have serviced everything from Maserati to Mercedes to Lexus to Jaguar to BMW etc.

I came here last Wednesday for a tire and i should ve went some where else. On Saturday I started to notice problems I m drifting to right side if I go about 60 and my car is shaking like crazy. I don t know if my tire is unbalanced or it s not on the right alignment but don t come here. My camaro never did anything like this when I brought tires from town fair tire. Now I m going to have to spend more money to get more things fixed.

i feel like reviews are either paid or people don't care about their cars. i came in here to mount new tires onto my car and got four scratched wheels as a result. if you drive a beater this place may work for you, but if you care about your car i would stay away.

AWESOME! They were fantastic. Took care of my daughter's tire replacement (used) while I was out of town. Just amazingly professional. A gem of a find these days when everyone is out to rip you off -- this place is THE place to go to. Thank you!

Needed my tires rotated and balanced. I was in and out in about 10 minutes with no BS and they did a good job. Charged me $50 which is $12.50 per tire. Firestone wants $20 each

Sold a dry rotted tired a woman(me) and charged $50 for it.. only to go down the street 3 days later and pay $37 for a good tire! Did I mention it took them over 30 min to replace with 3 workers..

Normally I would give this establishment 5 stars, I've used them in the passed and never had an issue.I purchased a matching set of front tires, they were great, great install, did NOT need an alignment. Car drove as if it were on rails, this was a 5 star experience.When I went out to the car in the morning, the driver tire was completely flat. I called AAA and used one of my 4 yearly calls to have them inflate my tire. Contacted the owner and he advised me that if I brought it in he would see if he could either fix it or replace it at no charge.I brought it in and one of the employees showed me there was a pin size hole in the sidewall and was unrepairable. He swapped out the flat tire for another used tire they had in stock.No problem, I understand, this is something you may have to deal with buying used tires, that is NOT why I'm giving a poor rating.They replaced the one side that went flat with another model tire and upon driving home, the car was now is dire need of an alignment. It felt wrong driving, the car was pulling to one side, totally NOT the ride that the 2 previous used tires that were installed 12 hours prior had given me.I contacted the owner again and he advised me that the passenger side should have been replaced to match and to bring it back.This was my 3rd visit to the shop in less than 24 hours. I live 30 min away. If you are reading this, hopefully you can start to feel my frustration.They replaced the passenger side tire to match the driver, basically putting me back at what I paid for (a set of matching tires), BUT now the alignment is off so bad that I don't even want to drive the car.A break down of what my experience;Purchased 2 matching front tires $130 installed, great price.Found out 1 tire was bad, had shop replace with another used tire.Alignment is off after 2nd tire swap.3 trips back and forth.Front end alignment $150At the end of the day, I truly feel I could have just purchased 2 new tires from another garage and not had to go through all the trouble to end up saving a couple bucks. I feel that it was bad installation since the first set of tires were great, as far as alignment. I can't in good conscience believe that replacing one set of tires would have no effect on perfect alignment, but then when a second set of tires is put on, the alignment is off, and by so much. The wheel literally is 5 degrees to the left while driving straight. I've had my car a very very long time and this has never happened until getting the 2nd set of tires put on.UPDATE: I changed my rating from a 2 to a 4 because of how the owner handled my problem.AFTER I posted this review originally, my front passenger tire went flat (the tire that was just installed 2 hours earlier). I called the owner again and told him what had happened. He told me to bring it in to see what happened. It ended up having several very small leaks. He said it should have been noticed prior to being installed. He replaced the 2 front tires again (This is my 3rd set). He let me watch him prepare and mount the tires. Very educational and informative. I did not get the alignment before the 2nd set of tires had the flat. Luckily, when he replaced the 2nd set with the 3rd, the car is back to driving on top dead center. It WAS the 2nd set of tires, something was wrong with them.

Just got my second set of tires from here. I got snow tires for my car and all season tires for my wife s suv. Couldn t be happier. Price is pretty good. Service has been great. They had a lot of stuff in stock

Fast service and friendly people. Needed 4 good tires for my suv so I went there on a Saturday morning. The pice was good for the tires which were $260 for four used tires. I recommend the earlier you go the better to beat the crowd. I was given 3 different tires 2 same tires in the front and 2 completely different tires in the back. The guy told me it would be 3 same tires and I can order the other tire through him so I could have all same tires. That didn t happen at all after the tires were placed on the car and paid he said a set wasn t possible. I felt since I was a female he said what ever sounded good to get me to do my tires and afterwards reneged on what he said. While I was there I couldn t watch them with the tires as there is no way I could fit on the side of the building where they change tires. Next time I will go somewhere else or if I do go back I will make sure to see the tires before they put them on my car.

Terrible service. He looked at the tire said it s shredded and can t be fixed. Put it in my trunk and walked away. He offered no help, no suggestion as to what he could do and left me driving on my donut. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would.
