Thomas and all the new staff there are amazing very helpful and knowledgeable my car broke down around the corner from his store the dixwell location I had my son and daughter in the car in the cold Thomas and the new guy with the dread locks pushed my car to his parking lot and actually figured out my problem was just a basic $20 dollar that could of ended up saving me a tow bill and a unexpected repair bill for a mother trying to survive I m beyond grateful for them and they gained a new lifetime customerThank you to thomas and the staff for all your hard work and going above and beyond It is appreciated more than you know

The staff was absolutely amazing. They are incredibly friendly and helpful. My battery stopped right in front of the their store - I was able to get my car in the lot. My battery was so old it was rusted. The manager and his associate even used their own personal connections to help me get out of my jam and get my car going again! They are incredible and I highly recommend a visit if you need any car help.

I highly recommend buying from the Hamden location. The girl at the desk was great and got me signed up to get coupons.My daughter and I were outside trying to put windshield wipers on and Brandon was on his lunch break and came over to help us. He went out of his way to help us but also taught us how to take them off and put them back on. It's hard to find someone that will jump in and help. Both employees were amazing. The store was very clean and all the staff were extremely helpful.

Advance Auto is well-stocked, excellent customer service, they definitely set a high standard , for parts availability amongst their competitors. It was my first time going in there with my son and I was pleasantly surprised with the whole layout of the store. Check them out you will be satisfied just like I was.

Nice new store, good access, good inventory, decent price.08/22 update: The store has been around for a while now, and continues to maintain a good quality inventory and pricing structure. It is also a UPS drop/pickup point for those defending against porch piracy. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. I recommend this store.

Great store, great service! Very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. They installed my new car battery and my new windshield wiper blades at no cost. The cheaper battery wasn't in stock so I spent more than I'd intended, but it was such a relief to have someone install it for me right there, that it was worth it. Saved me from going to a repair shop or getting stranded! I signed up for membership, which offers additional savings. I will be back to this store, and I will definitely refer friends and family here.

Highly recommend. Went to a competitor who had no knowledge of my vehicle, even though their computer system tells them what I need. They pointed me in the direction of Advance Auto because they only had one battery in stock. Interestingly learned at Advanced that my vehicle only takes one battery, which was the one the competitor had in stock. Thankfully I had Carlos assist me at Advanced. He made my night. Turns out my battery was in great condition and didn t need replacing. I would have been out a couple dollars if Carlos didn t help. I ll never return to that competitor spot and will forever be a lifelong customer of Advanced.

Very sad to hear that yesterday I advised my mother to go to your store on Northeast Blvd in Clinton North Carolina to purchase a phone holder for her dashboard in car. She was satisfied with purchase but sad when manager would not help her put it in .thankfully the female worker helped her get it in.

This is for the store in Hamden, CT. Got there at 8:45, sign said they closed at 9. Called and was told they close at 8:30 due to being short staffed. Okay, fair. That said, you need to update your hours on the storefront and Google. Don't just leave the signage as it is.

I don t come here often. I needed spark plug and wrench for my snow blower - they had what I needed.Store is new, so still very clean. Staff was nice but all currently eating breakfast while I was there (understandable due to the snow storm that morning).

Confidence staff and will always help you and assist you with any parts you need to buy for your car and very information with helping you I always leave there very informed about how to handle maintenance on my cars

Store manager was super helpful. He wet air and being ad far as I'm concerned. He changed my windshield wiper blades in the rain. They can have my business anytime.

Good selection, staff is very helpful if it s not too busy. Better than autozone down the road, I feel like those ladies always talk trash when you leave. Just a feeling, I don t know.

Will not come back here again! Came to buy a battery and before the guy even attempted said he wouldn t be able to switch the battery for me because it was an older vehicle. He tried for about a minute and said he couldn t do it. I went home and replaced it on my own without a single problem. The lack of knowledge/effort from the workers here is a joke

Went in to buy headlights for a honda vehicle. A particular customer took up a good 15 minutes going back and forth about a car battery. While there were only 2 associatesone was in a total fog had no clue how to tend to customers kept insisting on putting hub caps into a box when clearly told to tend to the customers. There were only 3 customers and it took me 20 minutes to get 2 light bulbs. I will avoid this store like covid 19. Truly dissapointed. In all fairness i will give credit to the second associate an older gentleman who tried hard to help his customers.

Just found out that my life time warranty is only good for one starter,the replacement starter is not warranted. So only one defective starter per customer!!! I don't think I will purchase anything else from advance Auto parts!!!!!

About a year ago in the freezing cold my gas tank door was frozen shut. Theres a button on the inside and it releases a latch that was just stuck. I have a 2016 jeep overland. Even went in through the trunk straight to the release wire and nothing worked. And of course i had no gas (I found out it wasnt working at the gas station). The lock de icer didnt work and sadly I cant remember the name of the nice young man who helped me but I literally gave him full permission to rip the door off, and he amazingly through the crack of the gas door he undid the latch, popped the door open and gave me the latch undamaged to put back on after I got gas. I have nothing but good things to say. It's about a year later and my gas door has the same latch and is working fine.

My Battery died and they loaned my a charger to start my car!!!!!They didn t try and sell me a battery or an unneeded charger!!!!I will always give these guys my business!!!!

Terrible customer service there's 3 workers at the front desk doing nothing your in line for 15 mins and other customer walking away smh and they never have anything in stocks when I need something
