I usually don't do reviews, but in this case I have too. I was so impressed with Eddie and Carol an the handling of my car repair. Eddie explained everything thing so I could understand it. They went beyond the call of duty. I hope I don't have another accident. If I do it will be brought to Eddie's Auto Body. Thanks again Eddie and Carol.

Eddie is an absolutely wonderful, generous, and caring guy and I d recommend his business to anyone.A person in a pickup truck backed into my car in downtown Chester, the day before my wife expected to deliver our second child, and rendered it un-drive-able.A friend recommended I visit Eddie who proceeded to take time out of his day, late in the afternoon, to personally pull the dent out of my wheel well and send me on my way.When we re settled in and I have time to leave my car for a repair, he ll definitely get the call.Thanks Eddie!

Carol and Eddie are so wonderful! After my car was hit I was having an extremely frustrating time dealing with the other persons insurance company and trying to find a body shop. After one conversation I knew my car was in great hands. Carol went above and beyond handing EVERYTHING for me with this extremely frustrating insurance company. They went above and beyond to make sure my car was repaired properly and expertly. I have my car back and it looks perfect.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Faith in humanity, restored! Ok, that might seem a little over the top, but seriously, Eddy and Carol are amazing. I had front end damage on my 2016 Tundra TRD Pro from a deer strike. I keep my truck in pristine condition and was very concerned about finding someone who actually cared as much as I do about restoring it to it's original condition. Eddy and Carol were highly recommended by a friend and after meeting with them, I knew they were the ones for the job. Not only were they super nice, they even battled with my insurance company to get me the dollar amount needed to repair it with actual TOYOTA parts, rather than the cheap knock-off garbage that insurance companies try to slip by you. Once they navigated that minefield, they told me it would be ready in a week, and lo and behold, I just picked it up today, exactly a week later! Not only was it on time and absolutely perfect, it was detailed inside and out! Not to mention, they provided a very nice, newer, clean loaner for the week! I can't say enough about Eddy and Carol. After reading many wonderful reviews, I stopped in to meet Eddie and ask for a quote for my rear panel dented Nissan Rogue. I found Eddie nice and professional and he thoroughly went over the process of my repair. He took my personal information and said it would be a month before the work could start. I have called three times in two weeks and no return for a quote . Guess they are busy- isnt everyone these days- but their quote protocol and customer follow up service does need some work.

They are awesome people. I've known Eddie (Pepe) since I was a little kid. My uncle Mark had worked there for 35 years. My father worked there before he passed away for years also. With no bias however because I tell it the way it is. You will find out for yourself how nice of a guy Eddie is and how sweet Carol is. They will work with you and handle your insurance and it is a smooth, pain free, easy transaction

I recently bought a certified pre-owned car out of state due to the rarity of the color combination I wanted. The dealer alerted me to some scratches and gouges on the bumper before transit and offered to pay for the repair. I wasn t happy with the shabby detailing they did so they also covered the cost of a new detailing. Eddie s reputation speaks for itself in our area. After being so disappointed with the dealer for multiple reasons, it was nice to work with a place known for its high level work and integrity. I knew my new car was in great hands.Eddie s is unlike the majority of service places these days. They are experts in their field, honest and you feel trust there. They are passionate about the work they do and you can feel it every step of the way. Customer service these days is so lacking that it s refreshing and a relief when you deal with a place like this.I feel I now have the dream car I ve waited a while for. Carol and Eddie really set the level for high quality service and the results are beyond fantastic. My car was returned to me in much better condition than when I received it from the dealer. Their detailing team is just amazing and their prices are very reasonable given the fact you re getting basically the best service and results possible. Do not even hesitate. Eddie is very friendly and knowledgeable, the place came highly recommended. I brought my vehicle here to get a quote and to try to get work done. After a few reminder phone calls I waited 9 weeks for the quote. Never came, never started it. I eventually chose a different place to have the work done. Unfortunate, but overly excessive wait time for an initial quote that was promised in "about a week"

Carol and Eddie are the people we always wish for but can't seem to find. My 2015 malibu was hit in the rear-end and my brother-in-law recommended taking it to Eddie's autobody shop. We have just recently moved to Connecticut from California so I had know idea where to go. Best decision we could have ever made taking it to Eddie's. My car ended up being totaled but with there expert advice we are on are way to recovering the replacement cost of my vehicle. They have been so supportive of our needs and they not only treat you as a valued customer but as a friend. So if you find yourself in need of expert bodyshop repairs Eddie's is the place. Don't settle for less.

The best auto body shop out there! Eddie has fixed my families vehicles for years and he always does an amazing job. His paint matching is perfect as well as fitting panel gaps just right. He won t use cheap parts and will work with your insurance company to get your car fixed the right way. You would never know the vehicle was in an accident when he s done with it!Service: Painting

I had gotten a couple of quotes to repair my car fender, and then I went to Eddie's. First, I was greeted warmly. Then Billy tried to repair the fender without making it a big job. When that didn't work, he considered how he could fix the fender without costing me too much. They were able to take my car when I could leave it. They did a beautiful job... and came in under bid. They treated me incredibly nicely every step of the way, and they gave me back a far cleaner car. I would HIGHLY recommend Eddie's... and it was a long way from home for me.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. This company is overall one of the best companies of any type that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. And above all, the work they do is spectacular. They repaired the rear quarter panel and I don't even know how it is possible, but not only did the repair look flawless, but my entire car looked beautiful. I couldn't even stay mad at my son, who was driving the car when the accident occurred because I was so pleased afterwards!

I live in Moodus , a Village in East Haddam. I Have driven by Eddys Auto Body but never needed their Service until I Was in a Car Accident. They Were Wonderful To Work With. I have used Eddie's to repair my vehicles on a couple of different occasions now. They are professional, thorough and very detail oriented when it comes to the repairs they make. From a parking lot dent and scrape to a front end collision, the cars came out looking brand new. The do great work.

Eddie and Carol run the friendliest and most reliable autobody shop around. I had heard great things from friends and family so I went to them when I got in a small accident, and they got the necessary parts quickly and cheaply. My son recommended that I take my F150 to Eddie's Auto Body as he had repair work done to two of his cars and each looked better than brand new when he picked them up. My truck had damage to the roof, sunroof and moonroof. Waiting for OEM parts from Ford was intolerable, the actual repair once the parts arrived only took a few days. The workmanship on the repair was excellent. There was no hint that there was ever any damage to the roof. Also the fact that they did a full detailing on the truck was a very nice touch. I highly recommend that you consider Eddie's for auto service and/or repair.

We could not have asked for a better experience. We had a trailer issue (shackles) and Eddie went above and beyond simply replacing the worn parts. The replacements had nylon bushings and he upgraded them with brass bushings and added zerks to add life to the shackles. Before we left he torqued the wheel lugs. Six stars if we could.
