Wonderful customer service! Lela kindly took me in when I walked in without an appointment. My car was having problems starting and I wasn't sure if it was safe to drive. The team helped me diagnose and repair my car all within an hour. When I called with another concern, Lela and Chris were both incredibly friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend if you're looking for a trustworthy and reliable care care clinic. This will be our new go to shop for all car repairs and services!

I can't say enough good things about this place. We were passing through town on a road trip and punctured our tire on the highway. They happened to be the closest repair shop and we got there just before our tire went completely flat. Not only were they able to fix the puncture and get us back on the road in less than 30 minutes they didn't even charge us because the repair was so small. When we insisted the owner just told us to do something nice for someone today. We are so thankful for her. If we lived locally this would be where I took my car for every need. Thank you, thank you, thank you to the crew at Lela and Matt's!

Took me awhile how to figure out how to put a review on here but I m a senior I have not had any luck with repairs on my car since moving back from Fla. but I was so lucky to have found Lela & Matts my 2005 Audi battery kept dying after 10 days I was a nervous wreck not knowing an Audi mechanic I called finding them with great reviews. Chris was the best my car has not died since it was fixed there I give them excellent review. Sorry it took so long. Now I have to call and set up an appt the darn sunroof won t close I never even opened it don t understand the book directions lol so it s Nov 18th2023 I ll be calling on Mon Nov 20th to make an appt. Thank you Chris for all your help and repairs!

Well, they did it again! No wonder I waited until I was in Connecticut again from New Hampshire. They diagnosed the problem, came up with an innovative solution, and now my car no longer yells at me. This has been my favorite, and most trusted, car repair shop since they opened. I remember Lela and Matt from their previous car repair shop, and can't be grateful enough they opened their own. Lela, Matt, and their team are simply top notch!! 5 stars all around***** Honestly, if you are looking for a place to bring your vehicle (Gas or EV) please do not look elsewhere as I completely trust this place. They are honest and just so upfront with you that is is just not the norm when it comes to this type of industry but feels so good. If you have to wait to waiting area is very nice with steaming services to enjoy but also they do offer loaner cars, which I did not take advantage of, due to choosing to lounge there! if you do have an EV, honestly besides your trusted dealer please do consider this team as they have my trust going forward.My pleasure to write this team and than you so much for assisting with my nail in tire <3- TimServices: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Best in the state without a doubt. Trustworthy people who are meticulous with their with work, I have complete confidence bringing any car here for any service. They've worked on my BMW when other local shops denied the work, and fixed my Porsche after the specialist in Waterbury screwed it up. Lela and Matt's saved the day! We were in the middle of a long road trip when one of our tires began to lose pressure. We immediately pulled off I-95 and stopped at the first repair place we could find, which happened to be the Car Care Clinic. The team at Lela and Matt's took care of us right away -- very friendly and very professional service. They located a nail in the tire, patched it up, and we were back on the road less than an hour after first realizing we had a car problem. When you're on a long trip and have a sudden problem, mechanics like this are worth their weight in gold!

These guys (and gals) are just the BEST! Not only are they skilled mechanics but they also have heart! They are caring and make you feel secure in placing your car with them. They are also accommodating with transportation.... they gave me a ride home!! Service I have not experienced ANY PLACE ELSE!!!I can't say enough positive things. The best of the best! This is the only place I trust to service my vehicles. Lela, Matt, and the whole crew are professional, reliable, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly. I have used them for routine maintenance such as oil changes, as well as bigger repairs and even additional services such as headlight restoration. When a mouse gets in your car, destroys the side airbag and eats through the washer fluid line, who ya gonna call? Lela and Matt and crew, of course. These guys restored us to new without any fuss. They are the most honest, trustworthy and enjoyable crew to work with. You truly get the feeling that they believe in treating you the way they'd like to be treated. Honest expedient service, very communicative and helpful, comfortable table waiting area, free coffee, and if longer service needed helpful with drop off and pickup. Toyota dealership wanted $10k for my Prius repairs that runs fine and they fixed for a tiny fraction of that explains most of the work really not necessary, and check everything regularly. For sample they have fixed the front bumper several times without replacing with whole new parts. I have had my car in several times to check a noise, balance air in tires, without any charge. Thank you for putting our cars and safety first over profits.Chris is awesome especially!

Sunday night I experienced 0 PSI on my right front tire - it had a gash in it and I was riding on the rim. My son googled car repair places in Guilford and saw the rave reviews. I dropped the car off there overnight. First thing in the morning Lela called me. She had the tire delivered from Bridgeport and kept me updated every step of the way. I've been really happy with Lela and Matt's Car Care Clinic, but now I've learned they offer rides when needed and that is super helpful in addition to their great service. Also, the day after getting my car home, I happened to have a difficult time closing my glove box after cleaning it out. Yes, something fell behind it. Chris had me bring the car right back and not only took care of the problem but showed me how to do it the easy way in the future if necessary. Would not accept payment. I highly recommend this business, not only because they are kind and generous, but they do quality work too!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Car Care Clinic is the most impressive car repair company I have ever used. Their customer service is beyond courteous and helpful. They are thorough with diagnosing the issues at hand and are very fair with cost. Even sending pictures via text explaining the issue. Chris kept me informed every step of the way and even accommodated me by dropping my car back off to me! Finally a car repair company that is trustworthy and dependable. My husband I were traveling from Florida, we started having front end noises. Our nephew informed us about this garage so we went and met with Lela (very professional). They repaired our car and we could not be any happier with their service. They knew we were going to be driving back to Florida so they checked the car over for us as well.Thank you to our nephew Dru for his recommendation.A big thank you to them for repairing our vehicle without breaking our bank. We have always had excellent care of our vehicles by the team. Matt takes the time to explain what is happening, Lela up front knows just as much as the mechanics, Chris and Lina! Thanks to all of you ! We will miss you ! But I HIGHLY recommend CAR CARE CLINIC in Guilford for all your auto needs. They are honest and fair in there prices! Great staff! Lela is extremely thoughtful. Recently flew to CT to purchase a vehicle sight unseen other than 10 pictures. Thankfully, it ended up here as the owner of the vehicle was "other" and going to have me drive 9 hours home in a snow storm with one headlight. Lela got the vehicle in replaced a hood cable to allow the hood to open, replaced the headlight bulb, topped off all fluids, even have me a gallon of washer fluid in case it was needed on the adventure home, in a day with the car being dropped off there in the morning. Even offered to pick us up from the restaurant we had gone to awaiting for the work to be completed. Can not thank enough.

Friendly local shop with great prices. Quality of work was less that s expected. Ive been there 3 times for tire purchases, mounting, balance and alignment. All of these were completed as expected, but second time they dented my wife s rim and the third time they lost knocked off and lost rear rubber trim from my Porsche. I noticed the rim before leaving and they ordered a new one and replaced it. Third bird time I did not inspect the car figuring they did a great job and when I got home i noticed the passenger side trim was hangin off and the left side was missing. I promptly called and the owner said he could not see how the trim could be knocked off and I explained that it is 6 inched from the jack point and a lift could have pulled it off. I also explained that I washed the car before dropping it off and I knew they were in place before I dropped it off. The owner refused to admit they could have damaged the trim and would not replace it. I presume because it is difficult to get the trim pieces and they are relatively expensive.

I brought my Jeep GC to another mechanic in town and after having it for 8 days and $550 later, they told me the engine needed to be replaced. It didn't seem like they spent much time actually diagnosing the problem.I decided to get a second opinion and brought it to CCC. Lela and Matt were fantastic to deal with. The didn't just read an engine code and toss our a generic repair plan, they took the info I was able to provide and really investigated the problem.I would highly recommend bringing your vehicle to CCC. Their honesty and ingenuity set them apart from the other shops.

If you re like me and have the automotive frowns then call Lela or Matt and let them turn it upside down. These people even outside of the shop are absolutely amazing. Inside of the shop they will do whatever it takes to fix whatever issues you may have while staying In your budget. I enjoy working on my truck but outside in the cold is no fun. It does not matter the project size. Small or large they are guaranteed to surprise. With all of the options available I hope you give this one a try. They are AMAZING!!
