Thank you for the great experience from start to finish. I needed my alternator replaced ASAP and after calling 10 other shops Tim's was the only place that could get me in the next day! I spoke to Tim on the phone and I could tell he is very honest and truly caring. I dropped my car off in the morning and before I knew it Tim was calling me to say everything was done. They even came and picked me up down the street. The work was done much quicker than I anticipated and was also cheaper than expected. I've never had such a smooth, seamless and friendly process dealing with any car repair. If I need anything in the future I will definitely be back.

Tim is one of the most generous, courteous, and professional guys around. He guided me through what could have been a stressful car-buying process by providing recommendations, reviewing cars and always giving me his time and attention in the middle of a busy schedule. Very reasonable prices from a mechanic who I would recommend to anyone looking for car repairs!

We have lived in many states in the last 10 years, and had to get our car serviced across the country. Tim's Automotive stands out as the best automotive shop thus far. The owner is kind and very helpful. They provide professional, quality work at great prices. I had a bad experience with another auto shop and wanted a second opinion and Tim's was recommended to us. They were very professional, honest and easy to talk too. I recently had another issue with my car and they were able to get to it earlier than promised and their rate was extremely fair. They will now be the auto shop we recommend to everyone.

Extremely helpful! One of my windshield wipers was not working and rather than look at it myself because I am known to not be mechanically inclined I took it to Tim s. Within a couple of minutes they diagnosed what was wrong and since it was an easy fix I was not charged. They also put air in my tires and I didn t have to wait for any of it. They know how to take care of people and I know where I will be going for future repair needs!

Talk about great service and honesty! Tim looked my car over for free then gave me his professional opinion.Tim let me know that although he was more than willing to work on my Kia Sportage, it would be a far wiser choice to trade it in.I've had experience with mechanics who have tried to get me to just spend the money, but knowing people like that exist I took it to Tim's Auto for a third opinion.Professionalism and great service will win out over just "trying to get the money" every time. Treat your customers right and they'll gladly respond with long lasting repeat business.

Tim's Automotive is busy for a reason! I have a Honda Civic and they are great cars with typically not a lot of issues that I have been told "run forever" and I'm hoping that's the case for me because I just cannot afford to pay for a new car right now, so luckily with almost 200k miles my baby is still running great because I bring it to Tim for service! I have saved so much time because I'm not stressing out worrying about my car and also money by taking my car to Tim. He is very honest, fair and you won't feel robbed/ripped off after bringing your car in. I really appreciate all you guys do to make sure my car is safe and reliable! I live in NYC now and come back to CT to get work done to my car there! Thank you for fixing my car Tim and staff! :) Stay safe through this pandemic please!

We took our cars to Tim's based on a recommendation from a friend when we moved to Connecticut. What a great recommendation! Tim is the most honest mechanic I've ever encountered! EVER! My family and I have had our cars serviced at Tim's Automotive for many years now and we have never had a bad experience with the service. Tim is an honest and hard working mechanic, his staff does an excellent job. Extremely reliable and upfront with all my car concerns, I highly recommend Tim's!

I have been taking my cars to Tim for over 10 years. I won t go anywhere else. I can ask him anything and he takes the time to explain. He gives me the time lines for any repair or maintenance needed. The staff is fantastic. Thank you Tim for all that you do!Alicia

I've been a customer of Tim for about fifteen years now, back when he was on Hopmeadow street in Simsbury. I've always said that you have to trust your mechanic as much, or even more than your doctor.Tim has always stood behind his work 100%. One time time my old Chrysler mini-van was late in life, I had it towed to Tim's. It looked like the engine was ruined. Tim spent several hours trying to fix it, but could not. I was pretty sure of the outcome before he even started. When I asked for the bill, Tim said he felt like veterinarian & after your dog dies, it wasn't right to bill you. I still asked for a bill, stating that have been at the vet after my dog died & the vet still billed me!(sorry Dr Korten)I have recommended Tim's to several of my closest friends & they have been very happy.Tim may not be the cheapest mechanic, but he stands behind his work.

I've been going to Tim's for years, he has always treated me extremely well and works honestly. I recommend him to everyone I know. Above all else, he's honest and I respect that about a mechanic.

Tim is a saint. My old VW was towed there after it refused to start in the cold even after being jumped. They were nice enough to give me a ride to my girlfriend's house half an hour away, successfully start the car, charge it for three hours, and run diagnostics on it, all without charging me a dime. I've never given any business a review on any platform before today, but Tim and his crew were so friendly and altruistic to me that they earned all five starts.

I was recommend to try out Tim's from a friend. The shop has great service no matter who you get on the line! Tim always calls me himself to followup on diagnostics. He's very knowledgeable, humble, and honest. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Called tims auto on a friday afternoon to schedule a wheel issue...he stated over the phone that he'd order the part and his next available day as well as mine was on a tues...i even asked him if i could drive over the weekend on it he said itd be fine ..i walk in tues on my appointment and he asks if im dropping the car off..i say i thought this would take 30/40 mins(also previously discussed on Friday) hes like,"well i have to order the part " ....so not only did this severely inconvenience me...but i went and bought the tools(went to napa bought the part) and 1hr later i did the job myself youtube folks...its a beautiful thing

I called Tim and asked if he could service my Minivan on Tuesday (brake issue). I told him that I needed the car for a road trip on Wednesday. He said no problem bring it on down. I dropped it off the night before. Went back to pick up the car. No one looked at it!!! They didn't care.

They offer fantastic customer service with very fair prices. They won't charge you for anything you don't need. I trust them with both my and my mother's cars. Highly recommended.

Service was great and fast!! My only concern I have following my oil change is my car is hesitating a lot which it never did before. Not sure why? But would go back.

Tim, the owner, is one of the most honest people I know. He and his employees will fix only what needs fixing and if not fixable, he'll let you know, instead of replacing expensive parts in an almost dead car.

The most honest mechanic I have ever come across. They do not push unneccessary repairs, and will recommend only whats truly needed. A very rare thing in todays world. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Honest, fair, nice, your treated great. Again HONEST. An honest machanic is hard to find. Does great work at a great price. Always comes in lower then I expected.
