I m used to Chad at this shop, and I hope he is doing well in his absence! Huge shoes to fill but the guys running Glastonbury were so friendly, knowledgeable and inviting I can t see why they aren t busier than they are! I drive an Audi and have more faith with these guys than at the dealer down the street. You aren t cheap, but worth every penny when the team at Monro in Glastonbury treats you with the utmost respect. Listing to the manager handle customers on the phone was a breath of fresh air as well! So kind and curious! Too bad we can t clone him bc ide hire him in an instant!

I definitely recommend this Monro! I ve been coming here with all of my vehicles for years and always receive great service. Angel is extremely kind and thorough. I have never been kept waiting long and the pricing is very fair.

I've always had great service here at the Glastonbury location. Currently, the management does not seem to understand how to check on very basic tire pressure warning lights and even tried to get me to simply buy new tire pressure sensors when I only needed to fix my tire pressure. I will not ever go back here.

This is not a professional place of business and should be avoided. I had an appointment for just an oil change which took over an hour and a half, and then I was charged 40% more than what I was quoted when I came in and selected service I wanted. At one point I was told it'll just be 5 more minutes and it was another 40 before my car came out. The gentleman at the counter apologized and told me the tech working on my truck is "wicked slow, he's old, he's like 50". Not helpful or professional, and as a 49 year old, an offensive comment... When the tech finally brought out my truck he didn't look old, he did look drunk though. I will never go to Monro for anything ever again.

The treatment I received from this team was a total standout for me. I went in for an alignment, but they diagnosed an issue I have to fix first. They were polite helpful, friendly. They explained everything. I will go back and get my alignment done, and the main reason is because of how well I was treated by this team.

Absolutely Not recommended! I lost more than $1000 for absolutely nothing.Firstly, they did not try to understand the problem and randomly recommended a non-related replacement worth more than $1000. After having spent that, the problem ofcourse the same and now they are recommending another replacement of >$1000 which is completely different from first set of replacement! meaning... my first spent was waste just because of their ignorance and unwillingness to understand the problem. and they have no regret and acceptance on their face. Feels like cheated :(I totally do not see any seriousness and professionalism in their service.

Would absolutely not recommend going to Monroe in Glastonbury. Totally unprofessional and rude. I had an appointment and I go up to the desk. As I am about to say my name they cut me off and tell me to wait. So I m waiting and waiting. Meanwhile, someone else comes in and they attend to her immediately while still ignoring me! So I ll take my business elsewhere.

Place is clean and organized and runs efficiently with time requirements. The employees are helpful and friendly and take the time to explain what they are doing to your vehicle highly recommended this shop especially over a dealership that tried to charge me more than 4X what I paid here!

$125 for two tires (already bought) to be mounted and balanced with a tire rotation. Seems expensive. Also took them over an hour....Maybe this is ok and normal. That's why I included specifics.

Well I believe Monro Auto Service in Glastonbury is one of the best Auto Service in Glastonbury the staff are very friendly and they make you feel very comfortable when you are there I would recommend them to anyone

Joke of hack auto people. Made an appointment to get tires installed. Moved my schedule around to get there only to be told that they can t do them. Next avail time is 3 days later. Says I need to leave there because it will take 45 min a tire, plus alignment time. Uh ..no. Avoid.

The manager I dealt with was great. He has told me, basically, that the oil was filthy. I should bring in engine flush in a few weeks and he would run it. And give me another oil change for free. His general manager got wind of it and apparently had a cow. I hope it was worth it for him. My wife and I really loved the service, but I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THAT STORE AGAIN!

Awful experience. Staff was not knowledgeable about what was required to repair the vehicle and did not take ownership of numerous delays. Did not offer adequate compensation for these delays. Would never patronize Monro again.

Horrible customer service!!! When I dropped my car, I let the tech know the importance of it being ready within the hour due to a work engagement directly after but instead he guaranteed me 45 min. I asked would he call me when it was ready ( in case it would be ready at a different time) and he just told me to come back in 45 min. We came back within that time ready to jump on the road for an engagement in another town. They hadn't even begun to work on the car yet. And whenI asked if there was any way they could compensate us since we now had go put gas into another vehicle and be late. The guy began being rude and making up lies as to not take responsibility for not calling us and giving the option to get our car once they knew they were running behind. NEVER AGAIN!

They lied to me about rotating the tires then hung up on me when I complained. Will never go to Glastonbury again and may never go to Monroe again.- So they respond with a request to call them but nothing comes of the call- no offer to rotate the tires, no offer to make it right, nothing.

Update - mgmt seems to change frequently. During a recent visit, the tech damaged my car's headlight auto adjuster ($1500) as well as broke an actual headlight assembly (prob crazy $ so I haven't fixed it) while they attempted to fix another unrelated issue. Since they could not fix the original problem, they did not charge me for the labor and replacement parts that they did (amazing!) but only later did I also realize the damage that was also inflicted. No way to go back and point the finger later but I know what happened. I'm disappointed as it had become my go to auto repair facility. Now not too sure...Original 5 start review: After being told by a dealer that I needed two additional services to done when they performed a recall service. I stopped over at Monro who refuted the need for servicing! Saved $1400 by going here!

We bought a car in CT (we are from out of state) and wanted to get winter tires put on before we drove it back. Made an 11am appointment several days in advance. This way if we drove back and it was snowing we would be safe. Got there and was told it would take 3 hours. I asked the employee what the point is of making and appointment and he gave me some run around about the tires are large (they're 18 inch tires) and so on and so on. I told him it takes a half hour to do a tire changeover. Twice he told me he'd call my bluff. He's been doing this for x number of years and it doesn't take 30 minute to change tires. Talk about rude... can't believethis guy works in customer service. In retrospect 30 minutes is pretty quick but 45 mins for sure is reasonable. Anyways we left. When we got back, we went to our normal shop and it took right around 45 mins. This happened a few weeks ago. I held off on writing a review in case there was something I didn't know about wheels on this brand of vehicle but, as expected, the tire changeover was normal. Bottom line this place will lie and gaslight you. Go elsewhere. If employees will openly lie like this I can only imagine how bad their work is. I made an appointment, I get it may take you an hour or something like that if you're not fast, fine, but 3 hours? I'll call your bluff all day long, and I did.For management, feel free to follow up with me on this review and I'm happy to tell you exactly when we were there so you know who this employee is.

Ainsworth is the absolute best this was best experience I had in a shop in a LONG TIME HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place has gone downhill came in the second time to replace a tire and now there is clicking in my car which they won t fix Ricky was very rude about the whole ordeal

The absolute worst experience ever! Never go to this shop. An 8am appointment turned into a 5.5 hour ordeal. They didn't take my truck until 9:30am, couldn't get the cotter pins out, kept telling me it would be a few more minutes and the whole process took 5.5 hours. I would stay as far away from this place as I possibly could and definitely would not recommend it to anyone. Be forewarned!

I enjoy the availability of a shop open 7 days a week. However every time I bring my car for service I'm always told that I should use this oil product because of whatever. I understand the shop is always promoting to get whatever business they can, but if I clearly state what I want done to my car after I've respectively declined a service that's more costly. Please don't press or try to guilt me with what-if factors.

Been to Monroe 3 times and the staff has always been helpful and courteous. On one visit the staff did make a mistake with my vehicle but they were quick to rectify the error and were very accommodating through the process. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Bad customer service came in at 830 for an oil change and the told me my car wouldn't be don't till 4pm today for my turn around time ..and I told them I would drop the car off ..still no change in time difference won't be done till 4pm and at that he turned me away only if u had appointment at the beginning of the conversation ..terrible customer service ..now yall just lost a willing paying customer!!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff, quick & efficient oil change, convenient location. Brought my 18 yo Subaru in for an oil change, mentioned that I'm pretty sure it needs some other work, and got an oil change and an itemized estimate for repairs, all of which make sense based on what my car's doing. I will definitely be returning to this Munro Auto Service location.

Rear steel brake lines were leaking after being repaired here. According to the place I took my car for a separate electrical issue after having my brakes done here repairs did not take as brake lines and fitting leaking brake fluid. i went back and showed them the service report (says it was done by L Rapalo Jr.) & they said they can t do anything because I didn t bring it back to them. I had went to a different place for an electrical issue because monro doesn t do electrical and they found this brake issue. Thank god I didn t bring it back here, who s to say they wouldn t have messed it up again. They clearly have technicians who don t know how to install brake lines. They wouldn t even refund me for the cost of the service they clearly did not do correctly. Would not recommend.
