I had a random tire failure 15 minutes before they closed. I pulled in and they didn't hesitate to help. My wait was reasonable and they took care of my flat and had me on my way with nothing but smiles and thank you's. Perfection in customer service

The people were friendly, helpful, and honest. They didn't try to upsell me and I feel like I got a good deal. The wait time was a bit long to stay in the store (2.5 hrs to change my tires).

Brought my car in for oil change and new tires. Upsold me, which is fine. Cost a lot to get these services done. There was a leak coming from my car suddenly, brought my car to BMW cause we suspected a possible transmission leak one $300 diagnosis later turns out Firestone just reused the crush ring and possible heat thread damage from my oil change there. So, now I have to get another oil change, before I am due. And never taking my car to Firestone again for a simple oil change.Update! They jammed in the drained plug and damage the threading. Nice.

Had my emissions done here yesterday. Not only did they get me in and out in about 15/20 minutes, everyone was really friendly. The two employees I worked with for both check in and check out were personable and polite. All the employees I heard talking on the phone with other customers were treating them with respect and giving them honest timelines for repairs. While I ve never had any other service here I can say the employees are really great. Thanks for your help!

I went in to ask for a jump because my battery died in the adjacent lot next to the location. And they told me no because I m not getting a service. I was just in for tire service a couple days ago at another location. I don t buy tires anywhere but first one since I ve owned a car which has been for over 20year at this point of my life. Not to mention it s raining outside. I think it s very inhumane and inconsiderate to have a valued customer of yours not become stranded and have to possibly call roadside assistance for a battery jump. Worst Firestone ever and I would never recommend anyone to get tires at Firestone ever again. I m so upset at the fact I turn to a car shop for a simple jump and to be told no in the rain is ridiculous thanks for nothing Firestone

I've visited this location three times in the last three months and have chosen to wait for my service to be completed each time. I think the better approach with this location is to drop off your car and return once service is complete. Overbooking seems to be an issue. This morning, I had a 9:00 am appt for an oil change and when I arrived, every spot in both the front and back of the building was full. I pulled up to the door to let them know I was there and asked if I should expect a long wait time for my service given the number of customers at the location. I was told that it should be the usual one hour wait. Two hours and 40 minutes later, my oil change was complete. My appt before today was for a fix to a brand new tire that Firestone had installed that deflated the day after I had it installed. I waited one hour for that fix. The appt before that was for the installation of 4 brand new tires. I waited two hours for that. Either they need to book fewer appts in a day, expand their capacity, or be honest with people that choose to wait about how long the service will really be.

A terrible experience. I brought my driveable 2018 Jeep in for a 3pm appt to get a tire puncture fixed. After 30 minutes, I was finally told it couldn't be fixed because the treads were too low. OK, I get it, but make me wait that long? After asking why this took so long, one of the employees became passive aggressive with me, I told him I didn't appreciate him. Won't be going back, ever.

The Glastonbury staff are professional and polite. I am carefully listened to so that the problem can be resolved. There was no charge for this visit even though my minor repair used a mechanic s time, which I really appreciated.

The service was quicker than we expected. We dropped our car off early before opening, and we got a call early in the afternoon. Everything was transparent. They didn't offer us anything we didn't need or try to include additional work that wasn't originally requested when we made the appointment.

Went there with a flat tire and decided to get all 4 replaced. I complicated things by not having my wheel lock Key, however the staff was more then helpful through out the situation and eventually we got everything resolved. 100% would recommend.

Great place for smog inspections and general auto care. My 15k Michelin tires worn prematurely causing an annoying humming noise for a luxury vehicle. I thought the tires and wheel need balanced, rotate and alignment for $300 total. The shop did a full inspection and found it was the tires causing noise. They only charge me $20 for diagnostic fee instead of ripping me off. I needed new tires! There are shady mechanics and auto shops but this is not one. A few years ago I went to D### s shop on Main Street in EH and got ripped off.On other notes, don t just believe in 1-star review. Read it and you could tell these are Idiots who know nothing about cars. If you are complaining service is expensive do it yourself. Stop whining. An $80 parts, yes, can cost $235 to install after parts& labor. Labors can goes anywhere 1.5-2x of cost of parts.

I recently had a disappointing service experience at Firestone in Glastonbury, CT, for my Honda Accord. Initially, I brought it in due to steering issues, and they replaced the rack and pinion. Unfortunately, the problem persisted. On my second visit, they topped up the oil, but the issue remained unresolved. Now, they're suggesting a problem with the steering pump. Frustrating and concerning for the lack of a comprehensive solution to the initial problem.

After making an appointment for 11 am is almost 1:00 pm come in just for a flat tire repair. Ended up paying for a new tire unnecessarily after I was told my tire was fixable they come with a report saying out of the sudden is NOT fixable now. Terrible place to come in and get a tired fix also they just lost a Firestone customer good luck

Very rude and unprofessional. Didn't address the actual problem. Had flat tire and they only checked the air pressure and said I was good. After arguing with them they then finally fixed the tire.

I am writing to voice my frustration and complain about the service I receivedat your Firestone location at139 Putnam BlvdGlastonbury, CT 06033on August 1st, Tuesday evening from 5:22pm to7:00pm.I came in to get 2 new tires mounted on my car.I brought in my own, 2 brand new tires I purchased from a 3rd party retailer. My left rear tire had a nail in it and it was non-repairable. I asked the service person to install my 2 new tires on the FRONT sectionof the car and move 1 of the older front tires to the back. I was told no problem and would just have to pay for a Rotation as well, which I agreed wasfine.I was assured this was fine and told it should be done by 6:30pm. I left around 5:22pm to go to Home Depot, and came back at 6:15pm. My car was still being worked on. Around 6:30pm the service person came out to say they could not move a front tire to the back due to tread being low. I said that shouldn't be an issue since I'm paying for a Rotation as well.He said they cannot do it and can only do the 2 New Tires on the back and move 1 tire from back to the front. That is not what I came to your establishment for. After an hour of waiting I had no choice.I don't understand what the issue was but it took them over an Hour to tell me they could not do what was requested, putting 2 new tires on the front. I didn't leave until 7PM.I am not happy with what I was charged for $67.00 and not getting MY tires put on MY car where I wanted them. I would'vegone somewhere else if I knew this would be an issue. I expect a remedy to make this right from the business and national company.Service: Tires

Don't go here unless you want to be ripped off. They tried to charge me almost $500 for a part I didn't need. They said the part would have to be replaced in order for the car to pass emissions. I went to an honest mechanic to have the part replaced for hundreds less, but he told me I didn't need to have it replaced because the check engine light wasn't on. I brought it back to Firestone and what do you know, it passed the emissions test. Firestone knew this the whole time but tried to mislead and take advantage of me. I will be spreading the word to anyone I know - Never take your car here

You're always trying to upsell and saying things such as - we can't replace on one tire, we need to replace all 4. You're pathetic with your tactics.

Absolutely terrible experience. I went there because I am in the service and reviews from colleagues were good. They charged me $1000 for just front brake pads, front rotors, one caliper and an oil change all for in two months time my Jeep to shake when I brake. I have had my Jeep for 2 years now and my brakes were replaced before I even got the vehicle. So based off how I drive that should not happen. Let alone I am active duty military so I don t have time to go back and forth to a mechanic shop because they messed up. their best explanation was that they could assure me they will take a look at it and probably sand down my rotors when i asked for a whole new set of rotors and pads. I went to a different mechanic shop near me and their review of the rotors were they were never replaced to begin with (or falty). Completely disrespectful to be honest so if you are in the service call a mom and pop mechanic shop in your area where they will only charge $420 for front brakes rotors.Service: Brakes

This location is a big scam and I didn't notice at first. I got new tires from them about a month ago and they came back to me at the end saying I needed 1 new control arm and ball joint replacement, remember what I just said, 1 new control arm and ball joint for my passenger side from wheel. They quoted me for the parts for that which came out to $235. I searched online and everyone else for those parts and even the most expensive ones only got for no more then $80, you guys got that only $80 for the most expensive ones. There running a scam and are charging double and who knows maybe even triple for parts to pocket the rest of the money.

After fixing a metal coolant pipe in my Honda Element , they mess up the throttle body .. in order to fix the coolant pipe they have to remove the cool air intake disconnect wires and reinstall . Of course they didn t take responsibility on that .. I won t be back there unfortunately experience lesson learn .. be patient and go to your trusted mechanic . Oh my god I should have read all the reviews of this place before going there .. I have time ( I am self employed) I will go to the department of consumer protection and complain and probably go to the court I understand many people don t have time for this stuff but I will have to do something this unethical business can keep operating the way they do .. polite thieves

Went in for an wheel alignment and new tires after some suspension work. They failed to address the toe alignment while they rushed to get me out the door. 2k miles later my NEW front tires need to be replaced as the outer edge is completely worn bald. The guy rushed and didn't seem to know what he was doing. The cashier joked that he was bad. Horrible experiences are the norm here. Will not use this company again

Please do not go here. Please read to save money.I went for a break inspection. After the inspection, they told me the car would need the following services/replacements: new brake fluid, rotors, brake pad set, 2 calipers, 2 control arms, sway bar link, 2 tie rods, 2 strut assemblies, & wheel alignment. All of these services plus labor would cost $4120.25. (The labor alone was $1653.36)During the employees explanation of the prices he said that he did add additional parts to the total because sometimes other parts break while replacing the ones adjacent to them. (This is true, this is not false information) however, I couldn t fathom how someone would charge someone for parts without knowing whether or not they would break yet.I spoke to two other mechanics and they confirmed I was being overcharged. I declined services.I went to Monro Auto Services and they performed a brake inspection and concluded I needed the following services: brakes, rotors, 2 ball joints, 2 tie rods. They performed all of these services plus I added on new wiper blades all for $1286.84 including labor!!!This price included parts & labor and was less than Firestone was just charging for labor. Not to mention none of the parts that Firestone predicted would break, broke. And Firestone told me I needed to replace parts that were in perfect condition according to several Monro mechanics: calipers, control arms, sway bar link, and quick struts. This place fits every bad stereotype there is about auto shops, the only plus was that they were polite. However you are politely being robbed.

About a month ago I brought my Chevy spark in to this firestone for an alignment and for them to fix damage from a pothole. Today, after having continuous problems since, I was made aware by another mechanic that the entire time they had my car, they never fixed it. That means they left me with a car unsafe to drive with no work done and obviously never told us. I will never be returning to this firestone since I ve now had to spend over $850 to fix their laziness. Absolutely unprofessional and so disappointing.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

Avoid this business like a plague. They are very unethical in the way they do business. I took 2 cars there recently 2 months apart and they always have a bunch of other things that they say has to be done to the car for a cost that just mind blowing. Even suggesting oil change and cabin filters changes for double what I always get them done for just down the street. NO THANKS. I had to take my car somewhere after the worker couldn t look at me in the eyes and tell me why I needed to get all these things done when I had just brought my car for an alternator. If you absolutely have to take your care here be ready to say NO to all these other things they try to sell you. If you can wait to go somewhere you will be happy you did.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Brake service & repair
