Waited for 3 hours for oil change. When I made the appointment a week ago or handed the car to the shop, I was not told at I need to wait for that long, otherwise I would not spent 3 hours waiting there. Not sure how but one of my new tires got a nail on it. I was offered to replace the tire but I couldn t wait anymore. Tire pressure was good before getting into the shop but loss pressure when driving home.

My appointment was scheduled for a Sunday morning and I know they have a Skeleton crew on Sundays so I expected a little wait. I was greeted immediately and informed that there would be a little bit of a wait which I was fine with. It was nice to be informed. I had access to WiFi in the waiting area which allowed me to get some work done during my wait. They gave me the inspection report with recommendations for my next visit which was very helpful. I went for an oil change, alignment check and basic inspection. Overall it was a good experience and I will return and recommend them to other people.

i had an appointment that i made through Firestone website, but they didn't get it and i had to wait 2 hours to change my front tire, but I'm ok with that, i wasn't working and i had time. Service is impeccable, the price is great. I absolutely recommend Firestone Fairfield.

I needed to get 2 new front tires rather quickly. The Fairfield team was friendly, helpful and efficient. I dropped my car off at 10am and was able to pick it up before 2:30pm. The price was fair and I will definitely return for my next need.

Xmas Eve afternoon, husband drives to gas station to check air pressure ahead of an 800+ mile road trip. Finds a bolt in one tire. Who s even open? Can t get a rental car before early departure day after Xmas. This crew at Firestone, what can I say? They got us in, were able able to lift our very heavy all electric car, and successfully plugged the tire. Pennies on the dollar for what they charged for the time they put in. Thank you so much.

I had a scheduled appointment and dropped off the car at that time. Two hours later, I received a call from Firestone stating that I still had time to drop off the car and that they could still repair the vehicle. I told the person on the phone that the car had been there for two hours at its scheduled appointment. Are you telling me that no one has looked at it or even acknowledged that it has been there? Eventually, my scheduled meeting that afternoon needed to be canceled due to my inability to be there on time.

I do not like giving low stars but this had to be said. Maybe just an off day. Maybe not. But 4 hours for tires to be changed is inconsiderate of people s schedule, specially since I was very specific with wait time when I inquired over the phone and in person, and I was given 45mins to 1 hour, 1 hour and a half at the most.We got a quote for 4 tires ahead of time, and the gentleman who helped my husband was nice. I called before coming in specifically to ask how long it will take and how busy they are to avoid lengthy wait. I don t need it done immediately so I can schedule it another day. I was told to bring in my car and it would take 45mins to 1hr. I have a few hours open so I decided to fit it in.I dropped the car at 11:50AM, called around 1:30PM to check if it s ready and they said it s not even in the shop. I was told another 2 hours to which I said I ll just get my car and do it another time. He then put me on hold and said he can do it for an hour and a half and they ll do it immediately. So I decided to wait the extra time since I waited this long already. I made new arrangements for my kids schedule and other appointments just to finish it.3PM - car not ready. They said maybe another 45 minutes. At this point I asked if I can just get my car back, he said it s on the lift already. So they have my car for about 4 hours.Maybe they are understaffed and maybe just trying to take all the jobs despite the lack of manpower - but it would be nice if they were considerate with their customers schedule. If they can t do it in a timely manner, just say it. Things happen. I get it. Schedule accordingly.Although everyone I spoke with was polite, the ones left to face the customers seems tired and overworked. Most likely the ones in the shop too.If you are a person on a schedule, do not rely on their time frame. If you have to bring it in this branch, be ready to leave your vehicle half a day or the whole day so you can save yourself the aggravation. It s our first time bringing our car here, and I will have a very hard time coming back to this branch nor can I recommend it. Other reviews seem ok/good, so maybe it s just an off day or staffing changed.

Super busy on a Friday and they fit me in for a much needed long overdue oil change. Brian could not be more professional & respectful. He even apologized for the long wait. This is my go to auto shop and they will always look to see if Firestone has any electronic coupons available to save you $$.

Joshua was so helpful! My windshield wipers broke during an ice storm which brought me to the store. He initially tried fixing my relatively new wipers. Eventually I decided to buy new ones and he installed them for me. I was so relieved to drive away feeling safe!

They mounted one of my tires incorrectly. Be sure to check the each tire. You should see a the label outside on the outer part of the tires. If you see inside then they mounted it wrong. Tires are engineered to be oriented in a specific way and this is a serious safety issue. Be careful. Two stars only because they were friendly enough.

Efficient, courteous and extremely helpful. Very reasonable price for replacement of wiper blades, and I had no appointment. They very quickly replaced my wiper blades.

Horrible experience. I m NEVER coming back to this location. They told me it would take an hour and a half to put my tires on. Then ended up keeping my car overnight without my permission!! Didn t even call me. I do not recommend this place.

WOULD NOT EVER COME BACK TO FAIRFIELD LOCATION. I cannot speak for other Firestone locations, but Fairfield is the worst! Have had several bad experiences in a row. Initially we brought car in for front/back breaks, oil change, new wipers, wiper fluid refill. Didn t put new wipers on or refill fluid but sure charged us for the wipers and service. Had to bring back car for this (inconvenience #1). After having our brand new front and back breaks for less than a month they ve been consistently been grinding and making awful noise upon breaking since we picked up our car. Called after the first week and was told we needed to get through the break in period. After a month of said new breaks still grinding, we brought it back to the store (inconvenience #2) to just be told they test drove it and breaks are fine. So basically the grinding and grit we hear and feel (the we didn t feel before getting our breaks done) is not their problem. Oh and our tires were low in air - my husband asked them to fill it while the car was being looked at. Was told it was done and it wasn t. They are incapable of simple tasks such as filling wiper fluid or putting air in tires, do not trust them with life saving measures such as correctly putting breaks on your car.

I had the most horrific experience you can possibly have with a car and the Firestone Complete on Kings Highway in Fairfield,CT. I brought my car in to have them service a fuel line issue that had been identified by a local service center. Firestone kept my car for 12 days and despite repeated calls about the car Firestone kept saying it wasn t ready. They indicated to my husband that Mazda was sending the wrong parts. They finally returned the car and the next day I was driving it on 95when I began to experience the same issue I had experienced that caused me to bring it in. I had my foot on the gas but nothing was happening. My husband smelled gas and said pull over. A car full of 20 something s was driving by and they screamed at us that our car was on fire. We couldn t see it because it was under the car. We got out of the car as quickly as possible and within seconds the car was consumed in flames. The car was burned to a shell. Firestone is 100% liable for this traumatic occurrence. DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE. Use your local service center!

When I got in first thing I noticed was plenty of seating and spaced out in different locations in the waiting era they had working tv in this location and working WiFi it was very clean and they have a deli right across the street if your waiting long and didn t bring lunch also a gas station a cross the street that has snacks this was my first visit at this location but they didn t disappoint me it was more then I expected and the staff informed me at the beginning it was a little wait and gave me the option to stay when I mentioned I m waiting instead of dropping off witch I like in case I had other Erin s to do for the day so I highly recommend this location

Work was done well and in a reasonable time. Pricing was fair. There was a small miscue for timing of completion, but otherwise great.

My wife went there this morning for rear brake pads, one caliper, and one rotor replacement. The appointment was at 11 am they took more than 3 hours to finish the work. No time management or respect for customers' time at all. Last time visiting this branch.

I would be remiss not to mention the general manager, Joseph McNary and assistant managers, Ryan Gless and Brian Sepkaski and among some of the employees as regards to this Firestone location. Having had to bring my vehicle in for a myriad of services, it was very comforting that Joseph and Ryan had established a supportive relationship to me. I have come to trust their experience and knowledge. Having had so much work done I'm able to even mention the names of some of the technicians that have truly helped me, namely, Hakeem, Anthony, Oni, and Ryan.Thank you for the honesty and good workmanship!Sincerely,O Michael

Brian saved me and I will go here from now on! I had a flat tire on a Sunday and nowhere was open. Firestone didn t have my tire, but Brian found one and told me to get my car towed there to fix it. I can go to work tomorrow now and I couldn t be happier. Thank you Brian and Firestone!

My last 2 encounters with this branch have been frustrating to say the least. The first of those encounters was for an oil change. I had my car dropped off around 10am in hopes to pick the car up sometime before the store closes at 7pm. Unfortunately, 9 hours was apparently barely enough time for the job to be done and I received the car shortly before, closing. To my knowledge, oil changes don t take an entire day. The second encounter takes place a few weeks later when my one of my Firestone tires which had been purchased thru Firestone, had a slow leak. I hoped for a similar process, simple fix, just a plug in the tire. Unfortunately, it seems the leak was never fixed, after dropping the car off around 11am and picking up around 6pm. I understand places get busy, however these were both small jobs and I have spent money with this establishment being a Firestone card holder. I hope others are spared of such unprofessionalism and confusion.

I had such a wonderful experience at Firestone in Fairfield yesterday. My car was very, VERY overdue for new tires, brakes, and an alignment. They fit me in same-day despite how busy they were and had everything done in less than two hours.I genuinely appreciate the staff, especially Stacy who advocated for my car getting done that day for my safety. She was so kind, knowledgeable, and kept everything lighthearted with her sense of humor.I feel like I m driving a brand new car again. Thank you everyone!Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Brakes

I booked an electrical repair through car advise. Requested a headlight and brake light to be changed upon price finalization, as Firestone s pricing was incorrect in the Car Advise app, was quoted a whopping $150 for it. No thank you. Called the shop back to let them know it was too expensive. I left my car there at 9am for my booked appointment, and was told they d be too busy to work on it during my scheduled appointment. I said okay fine, you ve got the day. I didn t hear back about the price until 2pm. Ridiculous. Here s the kicker - after I told the woman on the phone at Firestone that the price was too expensive, and I would not be paying $150 for two lightbulbs to be replaced, she said sure I ll cancel the appointment for you, and I ll make sure I tell the guys not to work on it. Great, thank you, I ll be at the shop in a half an hour to pick it up.When I arrived, my car was in the bay with the hood open and front light bracket popped out. I walked inside and told them to stop working on it, that it wasn t authorized. The guys looked at me like I had three heads and I was ignored. Not a word did they respond. So, I went into the waiting area and spoke with the woman at the front desk. I said Excuse me, we just had a phone conversation during which you told me no work would be done on my car. That you would inform your mechanics not to work on my car. Why is my car in the bay with a light popped out??? Of course she apologized profusely and took full blame for not communicating properly. Great, apology is warranted, but no part of this interaction has been professional. How can you promise a customer that nobody will touch their car, promise you ll tell the mechanics not to work on a car, and then have my car in the bay a HALF AN HOUR later? The lack of communication and horrible timeliness of this whole interaction I will never take my car back to any Firestone.Services: Electrical, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Oil change

DONT COME HERE!!! THEY DAMAGE YOUR CAR AND DON'T TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR IT!! 1 star is generous, I wish I can give you guys 0 stars. My boyfriend went for an oil change and it ended up being there for a week. He picked his car up 5 minutes before closing and didn't notice that his bumper was loose/coming off until they were closed. We called the next day and Joe looked at it and guaranteed that we can get it fixed and even sent us to a body shop. Couple days go by, we call the body shop only to find out that FIRESTONE is not approving or covering the bumper. FIRESRONE CORP said there's no proof because there are NO CAMERAS IN THE SHOP. They even said if YOUR car is parked in their lot and someone damages it, it's not their fault. Now my boyfriend has a loose bumper on his MUSTANG GT all because of them. DONT COME HERE AT ALL!!!Service: Oil change

Went in for an emissions test at the Fairfield King's Hwy. Firestone. In and out in about 35 minutes. This place is always open and doing a business. Good Service.
